The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Scotland

My family has eaten at all of the hot pot restaurants in Edinburgh. They are all good. All a little bit different than the other in the foods you can get. Its worth trying them all. I'd come back to this place.

I ordered a takeaway last night the 7th of December 2024 from the Pearl Palace. I was looking forward to the curried beef, fried rice, and Chicken balls done in batter. I so wished i had gone somewhere else. The meat was hard and chewy and the only vegetable in the container was onion, lots of it. The curry had no tase whatsoever and the Chicken balls were doughy batter. The whole lot was thrown in the bin as it was truly awful. I would never ever recommend this restaurant to anyone, it was just terrible.

Got a takeaway. Very good. Lovely king prawns. Delivered on requested time to the caravan park on the outskirts of town.

Sat in and asked for half duck, but didn’t have any, no alcohol licence, and no tofu, anyway, gave us duck slices, charged us for full price of half duck, and my son who eat it, has had diarrhoea all morning. Wouldn’t go near the place again, The place overcharged, and food poisoned. 🤮

Best chinese carry out in EK. in my opinion and reasonably priced. Best to phone and order ahead as can be a bit of a wait but well worth it

I moved out of Edinburgh but still make the journey despite having a chinese on my doorstep, as New Xian's salt & chilli tofu is the best.

Food just had zero flavour, so so bland compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area.

Tried all of the Chinese takeaways in Clydebank and this has to be the most economical very large portions very tasty, with a choice of free extras after £18 spend.. all meals with prawn crackers.

We bought pork fried rice and chicken chow mein. Both were very dry and were not enjoyable.

Podrían aceptar claramente mi pago - aunque fue reembolsado - y simplemente enviar un mensaje de texto es impactante servicio al cliente. No volveré a usar.

Nice hot food delivered in good time. Tasty and good quality. Also left out onion as requested. Very happy and would recommend

FOOD IS UTTER GARBAGE. I had one mouthfull and then bined the rest. What a waste of money. I will NOT be returning to martins chinese. They basicly gave me chicken in gravy,when i asked for chicken saty.

This used to be a tasty takeaway we used most Sundays but last 2 times not good , chef must have changed as standard and taste has gone , Don’t go defo not good anymore !!!!
