Ordered a fairly small order for take away, which came to just under £40, after inspecting the order I noticed a couple of mistakes, one of which I phoned and asked if it could be corrected. The girl taking the phone calls was fairly young and I didn’t mind the mistake but after she spoke to the kitchen they asked for the order to be returned, I agreed and went down. I was then told I had to give my original dish back and pay a further £8.50 for the noddle dish I had originally ordered. Paying for two dishes but only reviving one? The cook/owner was extremely rude, telling me he would sack the young girl right now for her mistake if I wasn’t happy to pay for the food. Needless to say I will not be back and never experienced such uncalled for rudeness.

First visit to town and needed a quick meal after a long drive. Good quality food at reasonable cost. Very tasty.

Wow, been to a fair few Chinese takeaways in my time and this comes in close to the top, very tasty and fresh and all at a very reasonable price. Well recommend👍🏼

Would give no stars if I could,use to be excellent.would not recommend to anyone these days,gone down hill,gave benefit of doubt as we all have bad days,but after the last 3 visits, had set meal on last visit,prawns were off and rancid,so called beef was tough and rubbery,along with not very warm at all and generally poor.

Never in 55 years of eating Chinese takeaways from all round the world have I been served up with such inedible mush masquerading as a Chinese. Spare Ribs were covered in a jelly like substance I took to be either the sauce or the guy cooking ( never a chef) had cut himself.) As for the Duck... I'm speechless.... a tub of gristle and tasteless sauce. Only reason I gave it one star was because my partner paid.

Not good at all. I have ordered beef in black bean sauce and got pork in green bean sausage. The satay chicken didn't smell or look like one. I had many Chinese takeaways but this one is a total fiasco.

Very nice Chinese. Tasted most of the menu because I absolutely love this cuisine and to be fair it's all very good ..prime cuts of chicken in the soup always a good sign massive king prawns and cooked to perfection because we all know that prawns are very easy to over cook but not here and very tasty beef again no cheap meat ..go there u wont be disappointed I promise u I know a good Chinese when I eat one

Having been a customer at this takeaway for the last 10 years is the reason I have given such a poor rating. My husband went in the shop, ordered, waited for it then left. It was not until I got home, approximately 10 mins away, that I noticed the requested special fried rice with separate peking sauce was actually s.f.r with bbq sauce in it, with the separate sauce in accompaniment. I phoned from my house and the young girl on the desk spoke, she never said anything close to an apology. I explained what happened assuming my replacement would be ready by the time I arrived to collect. I also said I would need the side dish replaced too as it would be cold. The young girl was simply rude. So I drove in to be ignored by the young girl and met by one in charge I assume. She went through the order blaming me for the mistake, after a short, pointless discussion I asked if they are going to replace or not. She walked away with it. 20 minutes later I got a replacement, much longer than the usual wait. Will never go back again

Can not fault the food here it is all cooked to order, friendly staff and polite also. Can deliver if live locally.

We've been in Thurso for almost 2 weeks, and only just decided to have Chinese food for dinner. Typical we find a wonderful takeaway just before we go home!! The food was absolutely delicious and piping hot. I had the sweet & sour pork Cantonese style, the pork was really crispy-just how I like it!! Definitely the nicest Chinese food we've had in a very long time.The girl serving was very friendly and asked if I needed bags, when I said no I've got a bag in the car she said if I bring it in they'll pack it straight into my bag.We will definitely be giving it another visit before we head home. Great place, the people of Thurso are very lucky to have such a fabulous takeaway!!!

Always get a smile from the staff and get quick service. Prices are good also. Nice sitting when waiting for order and getting the aroma from the kitchen, makes you feel more hungry than you are.

Food here tastes slightly greasy and a bit samey! Good service though from helpful staff. This isn't open as long as the Empire just a few yards away. Personally go to the Empire

The curry rolls and triangles have no filling inside and are far too greasy. You don't even get the curry sauce dip like you do from Charlie Chans, will not be back

We have alway's used 88 for our Chinese Meals can never fault they alway's give us 100 per cent free prawn cracker's every time and great food Billy's say's the second best chicken fillets to his that he used to serve in our own business

As you'd expect from a Chinese takeaway. Not spectacular but tasty and decent value. Portions were generous and food was ready quickly.

Popped in for a quick takeaway. Friendly staff, great welcome, excellent prompt service and the food was lovely. I had a special fried rice and can be fussy with Chineese Food but can't fault it..

porciones generosas y a precios razonables. La otra mitad tiene siempre el curry especial y lo ama. Estoy impresionado con su mein la comida especial, trozos de carne tierna y un par de enormes gambas. Los rollitos de primavera también son excelentes, agradable y crujiente y no a gotear en grasa.
