I can't believe I am saying this but the food lacked flavour. Maybe a bit more salt.

Chow main chicken pork and beef never put prawns in chow main unless it’s requested it was delivered to someone with an extreme fish ALLERGY called to see if I could get a replacement was told no and no refund ether so no dinner for me yaaay

What a disappointment. Beef curry with onions still trying to find beef. Lemon chicken you could resole your shoes with. Both meals like warm.

Great selection of food, just as expected from Chinese takeaway but the food is better than most. Tasty, large portions with extra ingredients that you wouldn't normally find from other places. Had to wait quite long to get my order but they've been unbelievably busy, well done.

They only take cash. We ordered vegetable Chow Mein and vegetable fried rice. Their tastes were bland and not to my liking. I can't finish my dish. No chopsticks.

Haven't used this establishment for quite a while, and now I know why. Lovely friendly staff, but food leaves a lot to be desired .Salt and pepper ribs were so overcooked and hard that we couldn't eat them. Singapore noodles were also overcooked and quite tasteless. Would recommend nor return.

Ordered the king prawn green Thai curry tonight and was so impressed. Its probably the best green Thai curry I've ever tasted. Will definately be back!

Specially asked what the difference is between chicken chow Mein Chinese style they said it’s just extra veg instead half the dish was the extra veg and I was allergic to some of it too then got an Original chow mein end up paying an extra 2:50 to get it here and opened it up it’s smelled and tasted worse than ever they definitely not shy of the salt 🧂 trying to bring a flavour that is not there I’m a local that lives buy and thought by c convenience I’d get from yourself instead it’s been two hours and still hungry and now peed off would definitely not recommend or go myself ever

Used this takeaway for years but it changed hands. Ordered tofu, ginger and spring onion, not convinced it was tofu, tasted like chicken soup, also ordered crispy seaweed, which was sprinkled with icing sugar and deep fried. They told me thats how it should be. All 3 of us feel sick and thats just from a mouthful each. Offered a free meal, but would rather eat a shoe

Went there the other week and had the chicken balls they were perfectly cooked I also had sweet and sour sauce with it it was also very good the rice had alot of flavour and was very good

Disgusting gravy they use, the food is inedible. I don't know what they put in it. I don't mind that it's instant packet gravy, they need to stop adding whatever it is they put in it though

Food was very good and fast delivery, only thing I was disappointed in was the salt and chilli chicken had barely any seasoning and not one piece of chilli through our it in both portions.

Disappointed tonight, currys good, spring rolls , frozen bought absolutely terrible, what happened fresh spring rolls , full of veg, chicken, pork, prawns , cooked fresh on the premises. Not good

Absolutely brilliant!! Would definitely recommend! The portion sizes were very generous and there was not one thing that we ordered we didn't like. Ordered a bit too much but that was our problem, leftovers for days.

Never had a chicken curry like it so much garlic , never had garlic in chicken curry before , its the worsted I've ever had.

Hemos utilizado este chino muchas veces, ya que era el único que podía servir sin gluten.El último no fue genial, pero pensamos que estaban teniendo un mal día, así que lo probamos de nuevo anoche.Tiene que ser una de las peores comidas que hemos tenido. Casi no hay opciones sin gluten, así que decidió un chow mien con fideos de arroz. Lo que obtuvimos fueron fideos de arroz hervidos con algunos trozos de pollo insípido, algunos brotes de soja y un trozo diminuto de cebolleta. Ser libre de gluten no significa que tenga que ser insípido. Todavía puede agregar ajo, verduras, huevo y salsa de soja sin gluten. Por suerte, teníamos algunos en casa para probar y agregar sabor a esta espantosa excusa para comer.Nosotros no regresaremos.

Friendly helpful staff and the best Chinese in Inverness hands down. I've tried a few others and nowhere comes close. Beef with green pepper and black bean sauce is amazing, as are the salt and pepper spare ribs 👌

One of the best Chinese you can get in the whole of inverness-shire. Great selection of food available and they are always changing to make it more available to people with dietary needs. I always get the set meal for one and it does 2 sometimes 3 of us and at £9 you can't beat a meal for 2 from a takeaway.

Uso este chino cada dos fines de semana, la mayoría de los fines de semana si soy honesto con 30 libras por vez, siempre obtengo la caja feliz que es de 11 libras, me cobran 12 libras ya que siempre obtengo salsa satay que es extra, bien, no hay problema normalmente , de todos modos, el 14 de septiembre llega mi pedido, mi caja feliz ha sido trasladada a la caja de pizza más pequeña que se haya hecho, ahora no me importaría, pero de ninguna manera es esta relación calidad-precio 11 libras por una caja pequeña, lo siento chicos Perdí a un cliente valioso aquí, muy decepcionado por decir lo menos, incluso utilicé este lugar para tener una comida de fiesta en la oficina a 120 libras, ya que pensé que era una excelente comida y valor, estoy convencido de que han usado este paso para reducir tanto el precio. Muy triste.

Best Chinese in Inverness. I can say this after six years of research into it 😂. Not the best Chinese I’ve ever had but consistent quality and good portion sizes.

Delivery Order of Lemon Chicken and House Special Fried Rice plus a side order of curry sauce. First time order, as a Friday night treat for my birthday and expectations were not high given the dire local deliveries of substandard food right across the board in Inverness. However this turned into a total Birthday treat, of beautifully presented, hot and tasty fresh food. Without a doubt the BEST Chinese take out I have ever had from Chicago to Manchester. An absolute revelation and I only hope future orders live upto this standard. Ribbon noodles through the Special Fried Rice was genius. Yes it was a long wait which the delivery driver did apologise for, however it was worth the wait for the quality. Highly recommended.

Havent been to this chinese in a long while thought i would try it again. Would not recommend worst Chinese I have had chow mein was slimy and horrible and spare ribs tasted off binned them. Not good at all.

Llevo muchos años aprendiendo chino, algunos buenos, otros no tan buenos y una buena cantidad de decepciones. Esto, tengo que decir, es posiblemente el mejor que he tenido. Siempre pido un EXTRA de curry caliente, y ¡qué cumplieron! Mi esposa tenía un chow mein especial, que afirmó que también era de primera clase. Estuvimos allí visitando a nuestros hijos que ahora están en esa área, no puedo esperar para volver y probar más comida excelente. ¡También una excelente relación calidad-precio, seis de nosotros bien alimentados por no mucho!

I go here once a month for my payday treat! Have tried most things on the menu and have enjoyed everything (except fish based foods as I don't like fish so not their fault!) Everytime I have been there's never been a complaint. Always piping hot and ready to collect within 20-30mins

El arroz era horrible y no comestible, sin señales de un poco de verduras o huevos. Cocina cantonesa pollo dulce y amargo sabor procesados y pasta era horrible. Ni idea de cómo consiguieron una buena clasificación.

Terrible food. Besides the wontons being almost burnt, the shrimp was undercooked. Also we went in and they didn't provide plates or silverware with the order. I would never ever go back.

This is my local Chinese and it never fails to disappoint. 90% of the time I have the Thai Red Curry - it's amazing!!! The sharing platter is also great. Staff always very friendly when ordering. I recommend this Chinese to everyone!

Mi papá y yo parecía tener ganas de comida china cuando estuvimos en Inverness, pero como los restaurantes locales tenían algunas críticas mixtas y estábamos en autoservicio, decidimos probar aquí ya que podíamos ir y recogerlo fácilmente.El menú en sí es muy variado, hay muchos platos para elegir, ¡también algunos platos tailandeses, coreanos y mongoles si quieres algo diferente! Fuimos para la comida preparada para 2, que por la cantidad que obtuvimos fue muy buena relación calidad-precio!Teníamos el entrante mixto, que tenía algas crujientes, gambas tostadas, una costilla de repuesto y satay de pollo, todo muy sabroso, aunque parecía que las costillas sin carne, era delicioso el poco, supongo!Teníamos pato con cebolla de primavera y jengibre, y Chilli carne cantonesa para platos principales con arroz y un mein de pollo, todo muy sabroso.Es una pena que no tengan nada tan bueno cerca de mí (¡bueno, eso no es estúpidamente caro de todos modos!)

The local restaurant to Dochgarroch was completely booked and I needed to feed my family (6). I searched Just Eat and called to see if they would in fact deliver to a boat. The lovely lady could not have been more accommodating. I chose from just eat but I ordered directly over the phone. The lady had made notes about my original call and had everything ready to complete my order. It took an hour, as she had warned me, by the food was well packed, piping hot, large portions and delicious. The mixed starter was awesome, 9" munch box is fab. Never seen anything like it but thoroughly recommend. Seaweed was wonderful. The beef with ginger and spring onion.... I love ginger and was not disappointed. The same dish down south has a token gesture of ginger, this had proper slices of fresh ginger. The Hong Kong sweet and sour chicken had water chestnuts and the satay sauce. Oh my goodness, is eat it on toast every day given the chance!! My fussy son even dived into the curry sauce with comes with the munchy box!!!

I was always a Charlie Chan’s regular until it closed its doors after many years of great service and I was forced to find a new provider. This particular outlet is the closest to where I stay, and has changed hands several times over the years, but I can safely say that the present owners are the best I have experienced. I have had two takeaways over the last couple of weeks and both were excellent. The first was Chicken with Ginger and Spring Onion, the second was Lemon Chicken, both with fried rice and a portion of chips. The portion sizes are large, each order enough for two people, and the food was ready by the time I had completed the five minute drive to collect. I would be the first to admit that I can be pretty picky regarding what I put in my mouth but I can highly recommend the Taste of China and it looks like it will become my go to takeaway for Chinese food.

If you need to make rubber try there chicken

I do not usually feel compelled to write a review but I felt that I could not let this one go. First time buying a takeaway from 'Taste of India' I chose it after reading the reviews as my usual chinese does not deliver now. What a mistake. I would not say that I was fussy but it really was not nice. I was starving but still could not eat even half of it. The chicken pieces are huge and taste very processed. The chow mein was watery and tasteless and the Kung po was pretty spicy but not atall sweet, no batter on the Kung po (I understand that is preference) but it would have at least hidden the processed taste of the chicken. I don't regularly have a chinese but this was a major dissapointment and it wasn't cheap with the most expensive delivery charge of the takeways that I had looked at.

I ordered the shredded chilli chicken with chips and a chow mein ... Was lush. Will definitely be ordering again.
