Sweet and sour chicken balls was disgusting. Chicken was brick hard. Even my german shepherd took 20 mins to chew a bit of the chicken

This meal was far better than the last one ordered from The Ruby. The New Golden Bell was early with our meal and the food was all that we had ordered and was warm. Unlike the Ruby, which was the exact opposite.

Very tasty food and in good quantity. The Sichuan Hot & Spicy Soup was really good, thick and nicely lived up to its name, without being too hot.

The Chicken was like shoe leather, the french fries were over cooked and were more like cardboard and there was virtually no gravy. The beef was rubbery and the rice was too firm and there was a lack of onions. Very poor food indeed.

Looking at the good reviews I have a feeling they are paying for reviews because the quality of food is terrible. The curry and soup tasted the same- a gooey gelatinous watery sauce with 0 flavor or salt. Straight to the bin.

Ordered a takeaway from here and it was lovely. We tried out the vegan options, tofu curry and tofu in satay sauce. Everything was amazing. Will be back again when we’re in Glasgow.

Food cold chicken a funny colour. Bever got juice that ordered. Worst chinese ever and over priced should have waited a bit longer till my usual one opened. Horrid

Food was amazing, delivery time initially promised of 1hr 20 mins was quite long, but they arrived 15 mins early. Basically... they Under promised and over delivered!! Food portions were great and so was the food.

There was a piece of chicken in the vegetable Chow Mein. That is totally unacceptable. A shame, it used to be great but this time the food seemed very different as though it has changed hands. It seems to have gone down hill. We won’t be ordering from there again sadly.

The food wasn't very good. The chips were hard and chewy and the chicken was very tough.

The munchies box we got was all over the place when I opened it . The food was really dry and there was so much salt used. Sweet and sour sauce was nice

Took an hour to arrive but didn’t mind the wait as long as food was going to be good it wasn’t, first time trying it and defo the last as straight In the bin it went not for me

Shocking food. Ordered my meal and it had no mention of prawns at all when I can’t eat fish. Had to bin the whole meal. Avoid here at all costs

Order from here a lot HOWEVER I was disappointed last night. I'd ordered Wafer Paper Prawn..and that's not what I got - I received a sort of Spring ROll in pasty wrapper. I initially thought they had made a mistake - phoned the restaurant only to be told they were having supply issues with Rice Paper. I was asked to check what I had received in the box ..by biting into one of the rolls and tell them what was inside! Yes, it was prawn BUT it wasn't what I ordered and paid for. They said they were sorry but nothing they could do - was that ok? Well, no, it wasn't really. I paid £6.50 for a dish I didn't order. THey should at least have flagged up that they didn't have the ingredients to make the dish as advertised and I should have had the choice as to whether I wanted to order that item. I understand lots of places are having delivery issues at the moment but I should have been told in advance. They didn't even offer a refund. So I was left with a dish I didn't want and felt a little cheated to say the least. Not good service on this occasion.

Salt n chilli chips and chicken was basically chicken nuggets fried with salt chucked over them, chips had some peppers and a chilli thrown in but other than that were normal chips. Delivery lady lovely though.

I got a big order last night . Everything tasted and looked amazing. Was so fresh and came piping hot. Was such a pleasure to get an order that was fresh and tasty and hot! It came on time. And delivery driver was nice. This is now my new favourite. Thank you for the wonderful food you all produced

I have never had bad food from The Golden Bell. It is always beautiful. Staff and delivery staff so polite. Would highly recommend.

I wouldn’t actually go to any other Chinese in the west end. Consistently great food and service. The delivery guys are always friendly and covid considerate (masks and social distancing). Never disappointed.

Awful. Ordered Salt and Chilli Chicken, salt and chilli chips and salt and chilli spring rolls, and nothing came with the seasoning, bland soggy chips, everything was tasteless, phoned up and was told that’s the way they do it, wouldn’t recommend anyone ordering salt and chilli from here.

Honestly, the food is incredible. This takes Chinese takeaway food to a new level. It's my go to place. Although you forgot our Fanta with last night's order. That doesn't matter an incredible meal again.

Food was fantastic, exactly what I needed and although I was only ordering for one I got some prawn crackers with my order which was a nice touch thank you so much... will definitely order again!

Very good chinese and always quick to deliver

The food was terrible. Driver couldn't find the address so it was cold but when we opened the chips they were clearly frozen chips cooked very badly and reheats at that. The chicken and mushroom smelt off and had a funny orange dye colour through it. The chicken in the Chinese chicken was crispy on the outside and had a strange consistency and was extremely greasy inside a waste of money and everything went in the bin.

First time ordering, and it was so good. Food quality was fantastic and it arrived slightly ahead of time. Will absolutely be ordering again.

I highly recommend to everyone. I have always had the perfect meal from here and delivery people first class.

Too much gravy on the fried rice and spicy chips were just frozen chips with a dusting of chilli on them most of them still hard and all in all pretty tasteless

Food at the Golden Bell is delicious and very tasty, I have been ordering food from this place for over 10 years and have recommended to friends and family as having a good quality Chinese meal is difficult to find, I would happily recommend and feel confident you will not be disappointed 👍👍👍

Too cool and so salty I could not eat it. The shrimp was unusually strong odoured and worried me. Losing confidence and going hungry whilst spending money for inedible food. Not h appy at all.

Stone cold food, never bothered to read notes attached for meals so all and all a waste of money very sad and lazy poor show..

I ordered chicken curry but was delivered beef curry. Pretty bad first impression when they can't get a simple order correct.

Tastiest Chinese I have eaten by far and excellent value as well, will definitely be ordering from Golden Bell on a regular basis.

This was my first time eating from here. Food arrived like warm, a lot of the order was missing and the salt and chilli chicken was a quarter of a portion.

Best Chinese I’ve had in a long time; salt and chilli chicken was top notch, partner said chicken satay was best she had.

I ordered the set meal for 1 and ribs it was 20 minutes early which was brilliant, but the soup was spilled everywhere, curry dripped all over the bag , and the soup was bland , called the restaurant to try get a new order and they just kept on hanging up

Normally the quality of the food is excellent but on this occasion it was luke warm (not a good thing for chicken!) The rice was cold, the chicken balls were luke warm. The only thing of an adequate temperature was the sauce. I tried several times to call the restaurant as soon as we opened the food - but it simply rang out after two mins. Very disappointed!
