Amber Takeaway in Glasgow City

This was recommended to me this place , got meal A , says Peking ribs . No bigger than a 50p piece per rib . Portions are laughable if that's what you call a portion of ribs daylight robbery trying to pass these off a ribs. Rice ok , curry sauce not the greatest I could taste the powder of the sauce so not a good sign . I'll be staying well clear but no surprise as shrinkflation on show everywhere and hard to find a good Chinese takeaway these days. Only reason I went cause eves was closed and drive to spring garden to long but wish I drove now as this was shengus . Only giving two stars for rice n chicken but Won't be back 👎👎

Great wee Chinese, sweet n sour chicken Hong Kong style is the best I've ever had and the chicken chow mein with thin noodles is fantastic. Staff are friendly aswell and can get a laugh with them. Would highly recommend 👌 👍

had spare ribs gravy sauce...6/10....spring rolls 3/10...small hardly any filling...fried rice and chicken curry.....7/10.....delivery on sat night was very quick...

Had a mix up and got the wrong meal after the shop was shut. Staff were friendly and gave us credit for another time

Was not good ar all went in the bin strips of frozen chicken you can buy in farmfoods won't be buying from there again

Curry from here usually delicious , however, tonight although piping hot, was watery and not up to usual standard at all pretty tasteless TBH So disappointed, was so looking forward to it

Brilliant wee shop always order my food from here it's by far the best Chinese take away .

The food was fine however when I called after 1 hour and 5 minutes to check on the delivery the lady asked for my address to check. When she came back she repeated the wrong address back to me and when I tried to correct her she told me not to shout at her, which I wasn't. She told me that it was out for delivery, I asked how much longer it would be and she hung up. Told this to the driver and he wasn't surprised. Message to the owner is get rid of this extremely rude lady or your business will suffer irreparably.

Covid friendly shop which is spotless and has protective screens fitted. Food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. Will definitely return.

Nuestro orden habitual es: Pollo agridulce al estilo HK: nunca "pegajoso", una buena salsa clara con verduras crujientes. Oporto asado con salsa de frijoles negros sobre fideos crujientes: es muy difícil encontrar comida para llevar que haga esto (muchos restaurantes lo harán, pero no muchas comidas para llevar). Muy buen sabor y una gran porción. Langostinos con sal y pimienta: un plato delicioso y sabroso, los langostinos siempre de buen tamaño. Arroz hervido: estándar como en cualquier lugar.

Ordered a takeaway got a small stone in the meal that broke a piece of my tooth. Called to complain and got a very poor response, no apology, staff actually laughed on the phone whilst I was complaining. Contacting environmental health to ensure they are properly preparing the food in a clean environment.

Amazing delivery and service, really good with taking special requests especially that I’m allergic to chillis ans onions and they provided amazing food! Only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is the chips aren’t golden brown, very pale!!! Will definitely be ordering again x

Salt and pepper mini spring rolls/ soggy rubbish and the salt & pepper chicken wings were also soggy, salt and no pepper, the fresh ?, chicken breast was finely chopped and was well over cooled, the fried rice was a mixture of boiled rice and fried rice. I would like to know if they have a fully qualified chinese Chef ?

Had a wee curry delivered to the house.. really enjoyed it.. cooked to perfection.. not loaded with msg and salt.. recommend it 👍

One of the best Chinese takeaways in the local area, been going here for years. They do a pretty good special Curry with fried rice and always give you a generous amount of king prawns(which I love). They also have 'Happy Meal' deals which is a selection of a few dishes in a long container for around £4.10 with a free can of juice or prawn crackers.
