Andy's in Glasgow City

A £29 munchy box with extra King Prawn. I will repeat 29 pounds sterling for this. Going back tomorrow there is fecking no chance am paying nearly 30 for a plate of footy chips and a hand full of side bites

Always fresh and clean very friendly staff this place is jumping always busy it’s a small shop please be patient it’s worth it

Just love there food, Best Curry Sauce although it seemed different on a few occasions but never had anything bad to say about the food. Also When the person who's working taking orders think she could be doing with help.🤷🏼‍♀️

salt and pepper munchie box ordered phone them because it was only salted. chicken was poor tasted uncooked, ribs were ok but freezing. took over an hour to come and spring rolls were ice cold

The food is mediocre at best and the dishes have very little portions of meat. Disappointed, especially because it was recommended to me. Peggy's is so much better, as is So Good (ex-Mr. Rice), which is much more generous in terms of portions. Won't bother coming back.

Food is lovely Quick delivery Driver friendly and polite

Expected more tbh. The salt and pepper box was big but it was barely half full and mainly rice. Get two sauces which is good but for £20 I expected better. The ribs though, they were genuinely unbelievable. Will probably try somewhere else next time I'm around though.

Best chinese food I've ever tasted, but unfortunately not very gluten free friendly. Asked the person on the phone if they had gluten free stuff to which they replied "everything is gluten free"... Avoid if you have allergies.

OMG this little takeaway really is out of this world ! Every bite no matter what u other & please believe me as ive now experienced the whole menu & every last bite is an absolute taste sensation so may this amazing little takeaway continue for many years to come & I have & always will give it top marks ! Andys spring rolls gone up in price ..but the filling has got less So your paying more for crispy batter sorry Andy stop be miserable with the filling . Not worth £4 price tag

Ordered ribs n gravy and 2spring rolls.....there was hardly any meat on bones..and meat was tough...i love my ribs and these where some of the worst ive ever had..!!!.... the spring rolls set my mouth on fire with no warning...eh.??..wont b back...

Rude customer service and very disappointed with behaviour

Food was rotten. Chow mein was really sweet, prawn crackers were stale and the chicken. Balls could have been used for the shot put. First and last time eating from here.

Never buy our chinese meals from anywhere else and pancake rolls are amazing. Only complaint is delivery times are dreadful, another couple of drivers might be a good idea!!

I have recently started using this Chinese and I must say the food is phenomenal! So tasty I always get a special curry and salt and chilli chips. The only downside I would say is the wait both in the shop and delivery. I have waited 2 hours before which I feel is a bit extreme.

Bogin , got salt and chilli chicken and it wasn’t cooked properly could still taste the flour graduals in the chicken coating and it was like eating boiled chips

Been eating from Andy's for 25 years and always been very happy with the food. Yes, it can take a bit longer some nights but always worth the wait.

Ordered a meal ribs were pink n blue. crispy wings were soggy chips n gravy was reheats gravy was almost yellow and it cost me 23 pound worst meal I have ever had my house stinks of cheap grease I asked to get it picked up right away they said no and said there was nothing wrong with the food stay away from this takeaway if u want to stay alive seriously I have never complained about a takeaway ever but my god so bad I can't believe it I will bag it and take it to them so they see how bad it is

Ordered from here a few times. The food is really nice and the prices are decent. Sometimes you can phone up to 10 times before getting through to them though - the phone just rings out. Delivery is also a bit too long but the food makes up for it sometimes.. Wouldn't order at the weekend when you're really hungry because you could wait hours but overall nice place!

We visited our daughter who lives around the corner from this take away and decided to treat ourselves to a chinese meal. The food was lovely and the portions very generous and fantastic value. No.1 takeaway in the whole of Glasgow!

Great takeaway, only prob is the delivery can take over an hour but the food is great and if they're that busy that it takes over an hour then that shows its a well liked takeaway for a reason.

Great service, good food. Haven't had any problems with pick up or delivery. Prices are reasonable. There are a few Chinese takeaways near my area and Andy's is the only one I will use, the one thing I dont like is their choice of noodles, I prefer flat noodles and theirs are thin and stringy. Their best item is "Salt n pepper Chicken wings".

The food at andys is above average but feel it is let down by the service both at the shop and for deliveries. At the shop it can sometimes take a while to get served and for food to get cooked, the girl who served me most times I was in was pleasant enough and was always on the go but felt she was under pressure when working alone and didn't get much help when driver tried to assit. When phoning delivery it takes over an hour most times and when you call it often rings out and sometimes just gets hung up on you and this is why I no longer use this place, they obviously need more staff.

While the food we received was nice, the service we received was not. I believe it was the delivery driver who took our order. Well, eventually took our order as every time he asked what we'd like he'd start a conversation with someone else. Took us about 4 times to hold his attention long enough to order. Then began the long wait. We didn't have a massive order (chips with onions and gravy and a chicken stir fry) but we were left waiting for 40 minutes for it. All that we needed was for a member of staff to at least let us know how much long er it was going to be or some sort of acknowledgment but we were just left sitting there while multiple others came and went with their food. By the time the food came, I wasn't even hungry anymore. Shame really as the food was very nice but I won't be going back there.
