Chinese Whispers in Glasgow City

Extremely poor customer service. Have ordered from Chinese Whispers for the past 2 years only to be let down by some of the worst customer experience I've ever experienced in my life. Unfortunate as the food is very high quality.

Whispers sell THEE best BBQ sauce ever! Popcorn chicken is amazing!

Really disappointing. First time ordering last night and in 24 years of different Chinese food experiences, I've never had such tough chewy and awful ribs. Such laziness. Should be cooked low and slow so that the meat is tender and falling off the bone. I could have used these ribs to reroof my house. Poor. Dimsum were just frozen ones from the supermarket so not very exciting. Kinda like rubber bullets actually. My szechuan chicken meat (and beef actually) was slimy with zero flavour. Cheap low quality ingredients with little to no care applied when cooking. We did not finish any of our dishes. Finally, I woke up at 1.30am dying for a drink of water. This can only be down to the amount of MSG and salt they use in cooking. I've never experienced that before. I cannot recommend this place for food. And after spending over £30, you don't even get crackers? What is happening in this world?

Fast delivery. I ordered chicken with garlic and ginger fried rice. It was chicken fried rice with garlic and ginger dried seasoning. Very lazy and passion less, I must say. If you are going to charge money, make an effort and cut some ginger and garlic up and chuck it in.

Food was OK, for what I could eat of it ,asked for no chilli in my meal it was actually too spicy to eat, honey chicken. Was quiet expensive I thought too.

Brilliant, brilliant and brilliant

First time trying here. The Singapore rice noodles were really really good. Special fried rice was also fab. Glad we found this place 😀

Won't be back, I asked for shredded duck and received chunks of what looked like fat and tasted exactly like fat. Worst was to come with what was meant to be salt n chili ribs was 6 chickenless bones different sizes covered in what looked like builders plaster, and I ain't joking...45 bucks down. Stay clear folks.

Meal came asked for noodles with bamboo shoots all that came was bamboo shoots. Chicken in black bean was watery and cold . Worst meal I’ve had in a while, was really not impressed..

First time customer. This chinese is best in Renfrewshire, we will not be going anywhere else. Different class to all the others. Respect to all staff at Whispers.

Great food always quick delivery

The best Chinese ever as far as carry out is concerned. Great choice of menu speedy delivery and quality food at a fair price. Wouldnt look anywhere else in the area to order. They have never let us down, so go on give them a try. A faboulous experience awaits.

Food is excellent! No complaints whatsoever apart from the salt and chilli chips were a tad on the soggy side but flavourful. Yet to visit the restaurant but im sure I will be a happy customer again!

Que pedimos entregas un par de veces de aquí y, para la mayoría, la comida es deliciosa. El pato asado crujiente es excelente como es el nasi goreng, sin embargo es realmente un ridículo tiempo para entregar y siempre nos llama a perseguir! ! ! Es una pena!

This is a little gem of a place. The food is amazing so much choice. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Great deal on Pre-theatre for sitting in restaurant. Would highly recommend it.

Una gran comida para llevar para un pueblo pequeño. Hace un variedad de platos chinos y tailandeses, todo recién cocinado. Los tamaños de porción ideal. Yo personalmente no lo uso para comer, pero parar con frecuencia para recoger comida para llevar en el camino a casa y no nos podemos quejar. Nunca demasiado tiempo para esperar, amplio aparcamiento y a un precio razonable.

Went here one Sunday good price for the pre theatre the portion sizes are good the only thing I have to complain about is them putting the Chinese leaves in your soup I think they should ask you first overall it was nice and the wee girl who serves you can't do enough for you she is really helpful

Recently moved to Erskine and been disappointed by the Chinese restaurants there so thought we would try this one and it was really good. Not a huge portion size but tasty and full of flavour.

Nos dieron la comida para 3 por 30 libras y no muy impresionado. Los rollitos de primavera era realmente bueno y sabrosos, pero el resto de los platos no eran muy agradable. La bolsa de comida era enorme, pero estaba lleno principalmente de arroz y gambas galletas saladas. La pasta de sopa de pollo estaba bien, le faltaba un poco de sabor. El pollo estaba muy extraño y no pude averiguar fue que era, y la textura era más duro y crujientes. El pollo y langostinos salteados platos eran bastante encantadora, pero yo no era un ventilador de la carne. Los platos no saben como estaban preparados antes ese día y eran climatizadas antes de ser servido. La relación calidad-precio no estoy seguro si este lugar sería considerado bueno por el precio o si me gustaría volver otra vez.
