I ordered a lot from shanghai blossom and it was great. But ever since that closing period and then re opening they have getting items on my order wrong and they have been late several times when they website says the order is with the driver. Example: screenshotted page saying the delivery time is 19:45pm. Order is now with yiur driver. Its now 20:11. No food...and we are 10 minutes walk down the road.

I preordered a takeaway at approximately 3.00pm on 17 October 2024 for collection at 6.30pm. I set off for the restaurant, which is a 20 minute drive, at around 6.10pm. 5 minutes into my drive I received a text message saying my order could not be taken by Royal China. When I arrived in Peterculter I found the restaurant to be closed. There is nothing on its website or ordering system saying it is closed. This is a ridiculous stare of affairs. I'd like to know if it is closed permanently!

First of all, I have to point out that I'm not sure if I should be more angry at those who made this "food" or at me, who also thought I should eat it. I should have turned around straight away and gone to bed hungry. The signs were all there. From the outside, the shop looked as if it had closed, the "menu" on DinA4 sheets in neon colors slapped on the wall. There wasn't a single Asian person to be seen in an Asian snack bar. The mixed appetizer platter consisted of pieces of fish, 2 different spring rolls, wontons, and spare ribs. Everything except the spare ribs (which had maybe 30g of meat in total) were fried beyond recognition and came with a neon-colored sweet and sour sauce. The Peking soup was the worst I've ever had and it had as much to do with Beijing as I had with the South Pole. I also ordered the Korean noodles with “roasted duck”... I'll probably never understand what the duck is supposed to be roasted. It doesn't matter because I definitely won't be ordering anything there again. I don't want to bash anyone here, I know very well how difficult it is to have to earn a living in the catering industry. But there are things that don't work. If you can't do something then you have to get help.
