The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Edinburgh and Lothian

This restaurant was massively hyped on social media sites and we were looking forward to the dining experience. Unfortunately the food was bland and unappetising. It was also priced extortionately. Two soft drinks a starter and three mains was 86 pounds! Also did not like the waitress insisting that two mains was 'not enough' (it was) and the fact that there were four of them in such a tiny place. If you are a hipster and want to believe the 'Emperors New Cuisine' then go for it...

Fantastic Chinese carry out,with large portions,would definitely use again,and thourghly recommend. I had chicken currie x hot and it was superb.

Wow.. I had the vanilla ice cream with my waffle.. Best ice cream i have ever tasted. Caramel sauce and fruit. For a family it can be expensive. Definately enough to share. Staff very polite. Area very clean and well presented.

Amazing, will definitely visit again. Lovely meat, lovely sauces and really helpful staff who helped us pich and helped us cook the food in the hotpot/on the grill.

Excellent Chinese restaurant. We have visited several times over the years for family occasions and the experience has been consistently good. Lovely decor and ambience, very friendly and efficient staff, food was all delicious. Thoroughly recommend.

Buen precio y sabrosos fideos y albóndigas! Pedimos fideos picantes de aceite de chile de res, fideos de cerdo picados y albóndigas de cerdo! ¡Los fideos eran masticables y las albóndigas jugosas! ¡La porción también era enorme! Las tías fueron muy amables en dar algunos contenedores para que envolviéramos las cosas en casa. Solo recibe efectivo (pero el cajero automático está justo al lado de la tienda).

My first visit with a group of friends. We were spoiled! The place was quiet but lots of take outs had been ordered! I had something completely different and it was shredded chicken with a honey & chilli sauce. I had noodles instead of rice. We went for the set menu. The vegetable spring rolls for a starter with a dip was just enough. I indulged and had banana fritters! It was £25 for the 3 courses plus drinks added on. The staff were brilliant and kept the table devoid of plates and any empty glasses! It was what we all needed! Thank you.

Awful food! Don’t waste your money. This takeaway has recently been bought over and the food is tasteless and staff are rude.

One of our favourite Japanese restaurants in Edinburgh. Superb food and great service

Food was pretty tasteless other than the oversalted combo box. The shredded chilli beef was limp and chewy, not crispy as you'd expect and again tasteless. Prawn crackers and curry sauce were the highlights but all in all not good and would not recommend.

Excellent food, chilled atmosphere, friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit

Wwnt hear a few nights ago with my family. amazing food amazing people. Loved it, wish i could be back but i live far away but hopefully one day.
