Came across this place by accident on our way to the National Museum. The place was jam-packed, which is always a good sign. The spicy Sichuan hotpot was absolutely incredible, I could eat it every day forever. Blew my friend's head off with the spice, but if ever anything was worth losing your head over, this would be it!

This is probably one of the best Chinese places I’ve been to. I was here for a school trip and most of the food around the area didn’t get me full or wasn’t flavorful but this restaurant was so good I finished my whole plate. I recommend the fried noodles(with chicken) and fried rice with duck- both were amazing!

Including mam and I there were only four ‘long noses’ at lunchtime in this busy eatery in heart of Edinburgh. That told us the food must be authentic and respected. Friendly and busy service. This ain’t fine dinning and if you’re looking for refinement, you’ll be disappointed. We ordered chicken with cashew nuts and noodles, 1/4 duck (with the ubiquitous pancakes and so on), a sweat and sour fried pork, and rice. The rice never arrived mind, and I requested it to be stuck from my bill. The server was apologetic when I pointed out the missing dish. The duck was superb. Not at all fatty (like some) and the skin was so crisp. The noodles were lovely. Mam thought her chicken dish was decent and I enjoyed my pork. The place was full of mostly young Chinese tucking in.

We decided to try this on our last day and so glad we did, otherwise we would have missed out on the best Chinese we have had. They give you 2 menus, one white menu for non-spicy and a red menu for spicy food. Highly recommend the Singapore noodles, the chicken noodles, the mini vegetable spring rolls and the 1/4 aromatic duck pancakes. The atmosphere was very relaxed with people chatting and calm music. The waitress was lovely and very friendly.

This restaurant was massively hyped on social media sites and we were looking forward to the dining experience. Unfortunately the food was bland and unappetising. It was also priced extortionately. Two soft drinks a starter and three mains was 86 pounds! Also did not like the waitress insisting that two mains was 'not enough' (it was) and the fact that there were four of them in such a tiny place. If you are a hipster and want to believe the 'Emperors New Cuisine' then go for it...

Vicino alla stazione di Haymarket. Bisogna prenotare. Locale piccolo, frequentato da pochi turisti e da molti cinesi. Servizio rapido e cortese.

The noodles were excellent thick and chewy. The braised beef brisket was full of flavour, tender and bitey. The broth was very flavourful. It retained clear nourishing quality. If you look for a freshly- made beef noodle soup in Edinburgh, look no further. It is a place you simply must try.

Family meal for my daughters birthday. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was amazing. The night was made by how awesome the staff were. Best service I’ve had in any restaurant in a long time. First time we’ve been, definitely will be back.
