The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Had the mixed sweet and sour balls and salt and chilli chips both were dark brown on the outside but soggy and full of grease on the inside Very weird taste

The food is extremely good and delicious especially the sweet and sour chicken and the salt and pepper box.My rating is 5 stars!!!

We changed from our regular Chinese we had been going to for years after it went downhill. We firstly tried a few others, one not far from China spice and 2 more in the area, the one not far from China spice , 5 was probably the worst Chinese we’ve ever had, greasy and every dish was very very sweet, almost inedible. Thank goodness we persevered and tried China spice, we have ordered 5 times now and has been on point every single time, always fresh and steaming hot. Not at all greasy and sits well in your tummy without the horrid feeling you get after the overload of msg, salt and sugar and grease you get from a lot of other Chinese establishments, also to add the owner is very friendly and accommodating, a really nice guy 👌

Honestly if i could give zero stars i would, went in and ordered curry and chips (1 portion) and took around 25 minutes, complained and was told it didn’t take that long and the girl on the till was very rude, will not be going back.

Ordered delivery, was told it would take 35 minutes. 2 hours and three phone calls later (when they would answer the phone) and the food still hadn’t arrived. Every time we called the lady on the other end would say that the delivery driver is outside and the food is on the way without even asking our order number. Dont recommend at all, cancelled the order before it arrive because a 2 hour wait with them saying it will be another hour before it’s here is not at all worth it.

First time ordering from Far East but unfortunately we won't be ordering again. Everything was well over seasoned, too much salt and sugar in most dishes. Seaweed was far too sweet and full of sugar, chicken in yellow bean sauce was far too salty, my partner couldn't finish it and this has been his favourite for years. I always order a hot & sour soup whenever I have a Chinese and this was inedible, tasted nothing like it should, worst one ive ever had. It smelt odd, like strong black pepper and tasted like it too, unfortunately I couldn't eat it. Also I must mention the egg fried rice!? Where was the egg? This also smelt and tasted like pre-made packet rice you put in the microwave. I feel you really need to adjust your ingredients.

It was rank and would even feed the food to my dog the workers are snotty and no help at all I wouldn’t order from here cause they are disrespectful and food ends up going to waste and when you ring up next day they say they can’t refund u as it was yesterday £15.60 for a joke of a meal waste of money and time won’t be coming here again

I was a kid when this take away opened in 1969 and the food from day one has always been first class. My wife is Asian and very particular about her food and is bowled over by the quality of the food that Hong Kong take away serve.

Best Chinese food in Didcot. Portions are big, friendly staff, and the food is insanely tasty!

Nothing amazing but convenient as Ledbury has no Chinese take aways.

Food was not hot, prawn crackers tasted of old oil. All 3 of us said the same.

Food was excellent, everyone enjoyed it.

So disappointed. First time and the rice wasn't cooked properly, the sweet and sour sauce was watery and not like anything ive had in other establishments. Its a shame because the chicken in the Hong Kong style sweet and sour chicken peices were really tender. Will not buy again.
