Wing Fat Chinese Takeaway in St. Helens

This is honestly one of the worst Chinese meals I’ve ever had,I tried to find something good to say about it but I’d be lying if I said anything was even ok with it..I’m sorry to leave a bad review but it’s shocked me a bit just how bad it is..

Food was absolutely diabolical, chicken and sweetcorn soup was orange .and gravy was like tar and I swear the ribs were off

Ordered delivery two times & I can say each time the food has not disappointed! This is definitely one of the best if not the best Chinese takeout in st Helen’s! Food is fresh and delivered hot, prices are worth the quality and quantity! Definitely ordering again soon :)

Chop suey roll would be good if it hadn't been frozen first. Hot and sour soup was rather sweet but filled with meat and vegetables. Rib were a little dry but the sauce was tasty. Service was excellent. However, i'm not sure I will go again.

First time ordering. Ordered (early, as requested) at around 6.00pm, and specified for delivery for 8.30pm. Meal arrived at 7.00pm! Not happy, and will not use again as they cannot follow a simple instruction/request.

Think they all need to wear hairnets asap Found a long black hair in my chips and curry a few months ago Stayed away for age’s because it knocked me sick 🤢gave it a second chance a few weeks ago Then got a kids meal last night and there was a hair in my sons chicken nugget and chips so that’s my last visit Shame really it’s a nice chippy but hairs in food is beyond my limit Think environmental health need to visit them to teach them about basic hygiene A hair net would stop all this 🤢🤢🤮🤮

Got a small salt and pepper chicken box absolutely delicious way to much food staff very friendly and polite didn't have to wait long nether

Tried here for the first time by my daughter who loves chinese food. I was hungry and was not disappointed, recommend the salt n pepper munch box. Very, very tasty food 😋 and friendly service, will be ordering again, thanks.

I've ordered a few times from hear collection and delivery always hot and fresh tasty and even better when it's the food is crispy especially the chicken balls 😋 and fish and all the meat fried rice nom nom, only problem is when ordering on line can't order cheesey chips put can when collecting.

Me and Emma from the club ordered takeaway last night . Special starters and Chicken foo young absolutely gorgeous 👍thank you and hot when arrived . Keep up the good work .

Tried this place for the first time and will never go again waited nearly an hour and a half, food was lukewarm..substandard food ..soggy chips ..soggy battered chicken balls ..just disappointing. Save your money and avoid like the plague!

Just ordered from here it's absolutely gorgeous, chips fried rice & curry is the best I've ever had 😁😁 delivery driver came back with missing can of pop without me even asking, super fast delivery, very polite staff and delivery driver 😁😁

Lovely people and good food. Continues to deliver good food. One of the nicer fish and chip shops. The meals are really good.

I visited the takeaway for the first time this week. I have been looking for a Chinese takeaway that does nice sweet and sour tofu. Although this wasn't on the menu they were happy to do it for me and it was really nice. It took about 10 minutes. The place was really clean and I will go back again because they were so helpful. Thanks!

Very surprised how bad the food was considering the good reviews. Salt and pepper large box . Tasted nothing like the Chinese taste you expect, tastes like what you make at home with supermarket salt and pepper seasoning. Ribs 4 tiny cut up into quarters not full ribs like you usually get in large boxes. Salt and pepper Chicken wings I think they got e from oops that’s what they tasted like . Chicken and beef Chrispy strips inedible actually quite amusing how bad it was. They did say they was busy so maybe that’s why it was so bad. 2 stars only because the soup was actually quite nice if not for this I would be looking for minus stars

Had the special set Banquet for one was vary happy with it will be going back soon.

Leaving reviews isn’t normally something I do, but I’ve been so happy ordering from here I felt I should. Customer service is awesome, they always listen to your order, ie if asked no mushrooms you won’t get mushrooms. The food is top notch too. Chinese & chippy food. It’s always been fresh hot and quick delivery every time. To make me leave a review it’s got to be good. Big thank you to all the staff, keep up the good work and lovely food

This was the first time using this Chinese for our Friday night treat, we've been to so many in St Helens & got sick of wasting our money on rubbish food, we saw this one advertised on Facebook & thought we would give it a try, it is by far the best one now in St Helens & we will definitely be using again, we had the salt & pepper munchy box to share, deep fried duck in plum sauce with noodles, beef & mushroom all of it was excellent portions, taste & piping hot when arrived, we was told 50 min waiting time the beat that & was delivered within 30 mins, highly recommend 5*

First try tonight, living in Haydock we have a few chinese takeaways but fancied a change tonight.. it was that nice it may be our new regular :-) Delicious, hot and fresh !

First time visit, but probably will visit again. Food I had was tasty and shop itself was kitted out to deal with Covid measures. A positive experience

First visit. Fish and chips for 3 people, with a tub of mushy peas. The fish was decent, however, the chips were the worst I have ever had, over cooked, dark brown and awful. The mushy peas were rock hard. Will not be eating here again

Chips where greasy and hardly any taste to food. Wouldn't go again

Just ordered chips and curry which cost 4.30 !! So thought theses better had be good as that is well overpriced anyway got them home and thrown straight in the bin we're refried left over chips pure tasting of grease do not eat here disgusting
