This is a lovely all you can eat with reasonable prices. The decor hasn't changed much in the last 30 years but the food will help you see past it. They have a good range of food which is all freshly prepared. I attended at lunch time and it wasn't busy in the slightest, I highly recommend a visit if you are starving and fancy some good Chinese food.

I don't order many takeaways and if I do , I always order from the takeaway I know and like. Tonight I ordered from Weng Kee down Grimsby Road.. I was charged nearly 15 pounds for a Happy meal of chops, chicken nuggets and a curry sauce..,4.20 ponds. I also ordered a salt and spicy chicken. This in total should of come to just over 10 pounds. I'm not one to complain but I phoned Weng Kee to explain I had been overcharged. They was adamant that they hadn't received the order, although it was Weng Kee, phone number that was on my phone when I was talking!!.They said is wasn't Weng Kee anymore and they told me to phone the police! After much discussion , with them, I said I would phone the police, as this is wrong!! Why are they keeping the same phone number, although they deny it! Please don't order from them... it's your decision..but why deny??? I always order online, as I don't go out. To be basically be called a liar, it's not me, i dont lie!

I was live-in bar/cellar man in this pub in the early 90s.Kings Cross was a dangerous area then but The Swan was a decent pub with meals for the surrounding office workers. Just on Regents Canal. Coming from Ireland I thought it was great that workers were allowed to go for a couple of pints at lunchtime. I was in my early 20s and a good time to be in London. There was a Spanish bar-restaurant in Pentonville Rd and Filthy ManNastyās up in Amwell St and Minogueās Liverpool St. Walking up Chapel St Market to Upper St Angel. The 90s the good old days š

After reading the negative reviews I think itās mandate to write reality. The place has authentic Indian street snacks and their chutneys are also very authentically made(some who is into cooking can tell it). Itās clearly written outside on their board Indian street snacks so do not expect 5 star hotelās cafeteria ambience. At the price they offer, itās the best they can. Amazing tasty food, hygienic place and decent atmosphere. Thank you team bhelpuri for amazing punjabi samosas in Reading
