first time buy food here but unfortunately noodles were dry, Thai prawn no spicy at all and the fry food very oily that my stomach couldn't take much. Also take an hour + to the food to arrive was too late when I saw the estimate time after I ordered 🙃.

I asked for no vegetables and peas in my food as I always do and my request was denied and sent with all the things I didn't want. I can't have the vegetables in my food, I could not eat it and just eat ignored my complaint too. my food had to be thrown and my money was lost. thanks china rose for getting paid for the food I could not eat and I called the restaurant and didn't get my call answered, very disappointed.

Enjoyed the chow mein more the first time i had it. This time there was fatty bits in it which i didn't enjoy. First time I had the wings, they were okay. Portion size a little small.

Disappointed threw a whole meal away, there was meat and chicken in the vermicelli noodles. My partner and myself don't eat any meat. He couldn't have any of mine because he doesn't eat seafood either. I had conversation with the restaurant prior.

Great service, polite and kind staff. By far best Chinese takeaway ive had in north london. Gave us a free drink and crackers too

I usually do not leave reviews. However this needed to be said, the price that china rose charge and the quality of the food is beyond terrible. I’ve always bought from Mimi and will never tried another restaurant after this. The crispy shredded beef is something I always get, (Crispy) is how it’s suppose to be, yet I received something like it was was left out for hours and then reheated, the fried rice dry, basically everything was 100% reheated, left out for hours and sold back to customer!

I can’t fault China rose, I’ve been coming here for quite some years now. I have to change a few things due to my daughter eating this too. And there is never a problem when I leave a note. They are spot on.

Ribs were a little dry. Portion ribs could be a bit bigger, but overall, was okay. Chicken in Szechuan sauce was a little salty and not particularly flavorful.

Missing items called straight away, chef was too busy shouting at girl on the phone saying she packed it… wouldn’t send order back out or refund told me go just eat also we orderd jumbo boxes they were more like a child portion? Used China rose since 2016 so very disappointed in the attitude more than anything. Felt sorry for the girl on the phone she was being shouted at

Food was distasteful all the juice from the containers run out into the bag the meal itself taste like cornstarch and water really waste of money

Rice was hard food was cold with no flavour

Not the best😞 the food wasn't hot, it was infact barely warm. The pancake rolls were soggy not crispy. This was the second order and although the food was slightly warmer it wasn't as hot as it should have been. It was a disappointment as China Rose was my go-to restaurant back in the day. Quality has gone down a bit. 😔

Wrong order delivered was collected by driver then my order was wrong

Horrible customer service very late delivery

I usually always order from china rose as they’re the best but on this occasion I was extremely disappointed. They forgot to bring my drink so I had to call the restaurant to inform them. All my food had spilt in the bag. The Szechuan chicken was actually quite gross, it was bland as ever and it had this strange slimes taste to it. Very disappointed

tiny mistake happened with the order, phoned them up and instantly sorted it and got it fixed, amazing service

Not only was the food late well over and hour and 15 minutes, I was missing a whole meal. Absolutely annoying and frustrating, it’s taken 3 calls to the restaurant and now waiting for chicken chow mien. Whole meal ruined !!

Rice was little burn, and delivery arrived 18:45. Quality dropped since last time...

The chips were cold and the delivery driver asked for money I told him I paid by card.

Food came piping hot and all dishes where delicious. This place was highly recommended to me, and it’s not disappointed once ( placed 3 orders in one week)

Delivery was very fast as all ways... 10 Stars for the delivery. Food this time was a little too much spicy, and the large container was like just 2/3 fill up... not as usual. If we order the large container we expect it to comes full, otherwise we would oreder the small...

The pots my food came in were damaged leaving my food to leak out into the plastic bag it was delivered in it was a whole mess of noodles and sauce

Great food as usual, been ordering for nearly a decade and still my favourite place, almost never eat at any other Chinese place. They’re very consistent with how food is cooked and flavoured, so you always know what you’re getting.

Delivery time got pushed back 2 times and when I tried calling nobody answered! Given up waiting as it’s been over 1 1/2 hours! Going to bed hungry which is the worst part about it.

I called the restaurant a hour after placing the order. They advised the food was ready, but they only had 1 driver & were waiting for him to return. He finally arrived a further 30mins later, needless to say the food was cold, soggy & chewy. Disappointed as I’ve ordered from here before & wasn’t like that.

Everytime I’ve ordered has been amazing but tonight’s one wasn’t edible at all everything was chewy and dry with no flavour I have no idea what happened !

Another restaurant who sends food with dish missing, it’s not rocket science to get the order correct…this is happening no all the time from fast food places!!!!

Poor service. Tasteless food that was Luke-warm at best. Set a two hour preparation/delivery time. When order did finally go out for delivery, there was a mismatch between the time taken for me to travel to the restaurant (according to google) and the food arriving to me. This indicates either there were multiple stops on the driver’s route (would explain the temperature of the food) or some other unknown reason. Either way, first time and last time.

A bit confused by the 'jumbo' in the description for the meal box, because they were actually single small portions. Quite tasty, but small.

Driver was rude to us because he got lost and he was over a hour later, he then dropped our food in front of us in frustration blaming it on us which meant our soup and sauces went all over our food, called the restaurant and they will not offer a refund because we can’t take it back to the restaurant. A shame because this was our fav Chinese but their new drivers are very rude and horrible, shouted at 2 17 year old girls !!

This is the last time I’ll order from China Rose . Last time the food was hideous but ordered again as it could of been a one off and always give another chance . The rice was not fresh it was stale . The crispy beef was congealed together like jelly (horrible) The beef in szechuan sauce was horrendous beef was so over tenderised that it turned to jelly/ elastic . Chow mien was ok . Food is not freshly made here I’m certain . What a shame .

Really terrible experience with the order. Food was nothing like the Chinese dishes we have had from other places - food was dry, bland and tasted unpleasant to the point we couldn’t eat it. The special fried rice smelled very weird and all food went in the bin, we will never order from Chinese Rose ever again.

The rice tasted reheated, it was hard and difficult to chew....... This is rice we are talking about, it should not be hard.. anyway the "crispy" beef only had a few crispy pieces.. the rest of the beef was like jelly... the quality of the chips.. very poor.. curry sauce not like any i've tasted before.. Prawn balls were fine no complaints there.. However after my stomach threw the whole lot back up, theres no telling at this point what made me do so, Yea.... Safe to say i valur my health and will not be ordering again. Thanks

Not much duck in chow mein. Only had 1 decent piece in a large duck chow mein.

I have used this restaurant for years and extremely disappointed in last orders. Food not as good quality as before, we waited nearly 1.5 hour for our order longest ever and rice was hard and hardly any meat or veg in rice. Not sure if ownership has changed ? But won’t be using again

Why did the order take over 2hours to arrive . My son ordered from somewhere else at same time in order to eat with us for my birthday and it arrived more than 1 hour earlier.

They didn't follow allergy requirements. They didn't want to amend the order and came across rude they also went to a completely different address that was listed, and this wasn't the first occasion that both of these mistakes have happened very disappointed. Couldn't eat any of the food. I had to throw it away.. waste of money. I'm having to go through just eat to sort this out as calling them was useless.

Delivery time was terrible, ordered at 19.04pm, confirmed delivery time 20.20-20.40pm. Received notification on it's way at 20.40pm. Started calling restaurant at 21.00pm as food still hadn't arrived but phone constantly engaged. Finally got through at 21.05pm was told "driver is on his way". 21.20pm still no food. Phoned restaurant again said they would contact the driver. 21.40pm still no food. Phoned restaurant again "he's definitely on his way". Bear in mind it's a 7 minute journey from the restaurant. 21.55pm food arrived, 3 hours after ordering and too late at night for us to eat.

Shame about the overcooked prawns dumplings I've been a customer of China rose since 2009 and this is the first time the dumplings were not eatable

Food was excellent I forgot to order curry sauce and phoned them up and they sent it round within half an hour so the service was above and beyond

order was sent wrong instead of small chicken and mushroom in gravy ,got beef and mushroom this wasn’t on my order as already ordered beef and black bean sauce

Ordered crispy duck with pancake's and it was all awful. The duck had no taste what so ever and the sauce that came with was in no way shape or form plum sauce. Had to pick up order as they estimated almost 2 hour delivery. Dinner was ruined, will not be ordering from here again
