Simple and good restaurant, the staff is welcoming. the dishes are copious and varied. the price is very fair for London and there is almost no difference between the take away and a meal on site I therefore recommend

Good food the buffet is really nice they bring you alot of food one of my favourite places to go to for Chinese food.

A very busy buffet style restaurant.

Classic case of big portions with low quality food. The chicken in the noodles was very rubbery and devoid of flavour. The Beef dish was missing any signs of beef it’s was just chrispy coating covered in plain sauce . One meal came ten minutes after the main cause was delivered leaving one person not eating while others did. Don’t eat here as Burger King is cheaper and higher quality.

Dishes were all very sweet and bland Beef in oyster sauce was tasteless as was the beef in black bean sauce Shredded chicken was way too sugary Only thing that was ok was the crispy duck hence 2 stars not zero Also they refused to accept debit card even though other customer paid using the terminal So one kind of tax scam I suppose

My wife and I have just visited Khin Lee for the first time. We had a wonderful evening. We shared the special recommended set meal for 2 at £20 per person Every mouthful was delicious and the portions were very generous. Awful food. Surprised at the good reviews showing Tried a few different dishes but found them all equally tasteless.

Awful experience. Char Sui was very salty and grizzled. Special Fried Rice was lukewarm and very little flavour. Won't be going there again.

The visit to khin lee in person or take away will always be pleasing because the food is top, best take away in the area for Asian cuisine

These guys used to have a restaurant in turnpike lane, the food was just as good as I remember it from there. Very fresh and not stodgy. Lovely friendly people too. Definitely recommend them

Delicious!! Best Chinese in Palmers Green, staff really look after you and the food is so fresh. Lemon chicken, fried squid, sweet and sour chicken, duck, and the huge array of starters were big highlights. They really looked after us for a birthday with the cake too. Highly recommend!

Worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to! The food was awful. Ordered chicken chow mein and vegetable chow mein, what we got were very vert dry brown noodles that were inedible. Shame because the staff were very nice. Waste of hard earned money

Went there, as locals we've seen quite, few people in, but on first visit dish came with undercoocked chicken, and hair inside, didn't made fuzz about it, as complimentary drink was for free, tap water ans sparkling water.....

Last time I ate here was 3 years ago so thought it was about time I tried it again. What a pleasant surprise…3 of us ate off the buffet menu on a Saturday night , all-you-can-eat for £26.each .The food was really good , hot , tasty and good sized portions . Friendly , attentive staff . We booked which is advisable as the restaurant was full . Really impressed , won’t be waiting so long to visit again.

Delicious Chinese food in Palmers Green - my go to!

Great Al la carte buffet option. Crispy duck pancakes were delicious! I enjoyed what I ate. Prawn toast was a little greasy though. Only minus one point for bland decor and atmosphere - not a fancy place for a date or birthday- but great food at great value.

This was my favourite Chinese shop at one point I used to recommend this place to anyone I spoke too. Now I must say I am very disappointed in the service I received when I last went in and how much the prices have gone up drastically especially for children. Not worth the drive from outside London just for an increased menu that is not serving high quality food. When I told the lady that I didn’t know the prices had gone up for kids she said that she will charge me the usual price however when I got the bill I was still charged the new prices she then stated that service charge is now added to the bill. I found her to be very rude and inconsiderate. not the first time have had the specific experience with this lady every time she sees me she tends to make up prices as she goes. Will not be returning to this place anymore.

Went here today for dinner buffet and was really disappointed with the food. The buffet is £26 per person so would expect quality food at that price and decent portion. Ordered a portion of bbq ribs and they literally gave 2 pieces of ribs, same with the dumplings and the salt and chilli wings...literally 2 wings on the plate. I can deal.wuth the portions as it is a buffet so u can order more if u like, but the quality of food was poor chips looked stale and was not fresh, lemon chicken was undercooked. Was not a good experiance at all and wouldn't recommend if your going for the buffet , not worth the money. Seems like they just fob u off with left over old food for the buffet . The staff was friendly and polite and restaurant generally looked well.kept ad clean, but would not visit again.

The food was all lovely this evening, the busiest I've seen it in a while too.

A basic Chinese menu. Buffet menu a good option to try. Only problem is you can't have a buffet and basic menu at the same table for obvious reasons. Very busy weekends and end of month. Expect to wait a long time for service during these times but worth the wait as the food is very good. Many guest celebrate their birthdays with large group of people at one sitting, that can add to the delay in service. But this doesn't stop me from coming here having a good evening with staff trying thier best to provide a good service.

We just love this place! The food is delicious and the welcome is always warm and genuine. The owner seems to know her regulars but treats everyone as of they were old friends. Please never change. We had the buffet menu and we love it!! All the food is brought out fresh as you order it - none of that queueing up for Luke warm food. Everything came out piping hot!! Will go back soon xx

Thursday dinner here, not been for few years. Arrived 6.30ish, staff was polite and friendly. Opted for the buffet £23.99, unlimited ordering, loved the starters, we reordered a few times, then aromatic duck with pancakes, by then we were stuffed so only ordered, couple of main dishes. Overall it was all very tasty. Especially the starters, they food is served hot, one piece per person, no wastage, order more as and when required. No limited times, so you can relax and enjoy your meal. They don't add service charge either. Don't know if thetes disabled toilet facilities.

The used to go to Khin Lee frequently but it's been about 10 years since I went so I decided to take my Dad there for Father's Day yesterday. The food was just like what I remembered but the customer service was horrendous and they added an extra £10 per person for the buffet. It's like they kept forgetting our order and people who entered the restaurant after us was getting their food before us. Each time I would call someone to check on our order they'll say I'll go back and investigate and just wouldn't give an update. Then when it came time to finish up, I asked for a container so I could bag the rest of the food up that wasn't finished and I was told I can't do that?! These times I saw a few other tables scraping their leftovers into those same containers we had requested. The only thing they were speedy on was the bill and I don't like that. Not going back.

Great service, tasty food and portions generous. Spring onions would have been welcome.

Great food unlimited best salt n pepper squid ever

I've eaten from some disappointing places however this one takes the biscuit. I bought chicken chow mein with flashes of chicken in it. I also bought mixed seafood chow mein which went straight into the bin after eating the squid which was extremely rubbery at best. This place is by far the worse takeaway I've ever had in my life. Stay away and don't be fooled by the fact that it is also run as a restaurant. I had to give it a star in order be able to post this review hence the one star Trevor

Paid almost double what you would pay for in other chinese places and got only 5 pieces of chicken appalling.

We were seated at 5:40 on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was filling up, as ever. Starters arrived at 6:20, some of them missing/arriving even later after we politely asked where the rest of the order was. The staff were always polite, friendly, and positive. Food did take a fair bit longer to arrive than expected, but even the all you can eat is cooked to order. It was all good quality, but the portions were a bit small. I left after 2 hours without even getting full as it was a tiny bit of food arriving once every now and then, but there wasn't a bad item on the menu.

Lovely restaurant! Went for the first time and it was delicious, good quality food and good price. Good variety also. They are very friendly and the man is such a sweet guy. I will be back.

The prices are nearly double when you sit in. So I would expect service and quality to match the price. The food is very bland and no taste. I ordered special fried rice, nornally this is brown in colour but this was just boiled white rice with a tiny bit of meat added. I had to then buy a main chicken dish, just to get a bit of gravy on it. We had to ask a few times for our dishes, which were forgotten about. Plus the bill is not itemised so you are not sure of what they are charging you For what we paid nearly £50 for hardly much food.. Noodles, fried rice, two main dishes (one was a wasted dish because I just wanted the gravy for the boiled special fried rice) one starter and two drinks. It should have really been £35 at the most as food quality and service is not good.

Used to be a great restaurant until recently. Went with party of 4 for the buffet. Now changed the buffet. Used to be £22 and you could order anything off the a la carte menu and as much as you like. Now changed to a typically cheap inferior buffet menu at £22.99 , so we were forced to go a la carte. (They also don't allow 1 person to go for the buffet). Got a dish we didn't order and didn't get a dish we did order - and later ordered an additional dish which we had to ask for 4 times. More interested in takeaway orders than customers in the restaurant. Then Refused to give us an itemised bill (despite legal requirement to do so) which is a great way of overcharging customers. Having got home, and calculated matters, they overcharged us. Lost our custom permanently - both as restaurant users (as the buffet menu is now seriously inferior) - and as takeaway customers. This is a very decent Chinese restaurant. It is clean and airy, tiled floors, unlike some dingy Chinese places with dirty carpets and low ceilings. It is overlooking high street and all together good service. My friend and I got v decent amount of food and our curries were v v good, I ordered lamb curry myself. Chomein is excellent, one of the best I have eaten, crisp duck is crisp, veggie spring rolls had a great taste and so did meat ones, I myself preferred veggie ones, freshly made, hot chinese tea keeps coming hot. We did not take buffet nor set menus, so our meal came up to 45 pounds, but it was delicious and we took the rest of it home, plenty for next day lunch lol. Staff is polite. Not worth going to Chinatown, this is a nice local Chinese! worth coming back! Thanks!

Excellent all round food great service great .value very good quality atmosphere

Delicious meals for a great family night out however wait time was a bit long at times and had to ask a couple times for missing bits and bobbles, but the staff were friendly when they realised and brought us it quickly.

Local Chinese restaurant. Staff are friendly and efficient. Owner waits on customers and is chatty. The buffet menu is back. You can order unlimited starters, mains a desserts for a fixed price. The food is freshly cooked to order. Very fast service without compromising the quality. Decor is somewhat dated. Ambience could be better. But for a less formal meal, this is a good place to go.

Very tasty food and portions were quite big so you’ll definitely be full. I had the chicken fried rice and the crispy shredded chicken in a sauce. Both were very nice and would eat again. For 3 of us it came up to £45 which wasn’t bad. Definitely would go again. Staff are friendly and you can pay by card.

We had a take-away a few days ago from Khin Lee. Order was taken on the phone with patience and politeness. I had ordered vegetarian dishes and special fried rice without realising that it had meat in it. When we picked the food up and realised the mistake, the lady at the counter happily changed our rice to vegetarian option. The staff was polite and food was excellent and more than enough quantity for sharing between 3.

I found a mistake in my bill again! Very disappointed. Food was alright and I was too hungry to complain. Felt bad!

Beware beware! Check your bill. I was told 3 prices and each time she changed her mind. First my bill was 26.40 challenged the charge and it went from 26.40 to 22.60 then I checked the menu price that was on the counter top I should have been charged £21.40, she would not give me a receipt except the pdq receipt. The pdq receipt shows only the grand total. Then I informed her that the bill was wrong and she blabbering on about how good her Chinese mathematics has never let her down and after a lot of arguing she gave me £1.40 back. The woman was raising her voice and banging on window after I complained. Avoid, seriously avoid, at least check your bill against what the menu says. I am all for rewarding for good service please see my other reviews, but to be overcharged and ot would appear to be deliberately, is blatantly wrong.

Amazing selection of food, highly recommended.

We walked by hungry and thought we would give this local Chinese restaurant a go. We got a meal for 2 at £16 per person. And it was hands-down the most disappointing meal either of us have ever had. Every single dish was consistently bland. The duck was dry and had clearly been sat out for a while. The sweet and sour chicken had more batter costing than chicken and it was TOUGH. The seaweed was very odd and had sugar sprinkled all over it. We really didn't enjoy our meal. I've given this restaurant a two star instead of a 1 star because the staff were nice. The service however was extremely slow and for just 4 or so courses, we were there for 3 hours and had to keep prompting staff to clear our table. Over priced, bland and slow service. Avoid.

I’m a customer of over 5 years and the food is consistently amazing. I could order the same dish 5 times and it’ll hit the spot every time. Nothing is perfect 100% but the fact that they have stayed open for so long and made it through the pandemic says a lot.

My girlfriend and I have been going here for 4 years and it's absolutely one of our favourite restaurants to go to. The staff are friendly and efficient. Food is absolutely amazing. We order from the buffet menu food is definitely fresh and you can order as much as you like. Portion size is normally enough for the amount of people on your table however you can order more if you like. Highly recommend Kin Lee.

I was really disappointed with the whole entire service as a whole and never received food! I had a few friends over and I am heavily pregnant with gestational diabetes and we fancied Chinese. I realised an hour and half had passed and I live literally it too far and the food had not arrived. I telephoned Khin Lee and the person who picked up the phone and lied to say that a driver had come to my address and apparently no one answered. However, I have a ring doorbell and no one called me. When I put this forward to the lady on the phone she said she never gave the driver my telephone number. And no one came and told me I had to collect the food now or wait another order. Which due to my conditions and how long it took was impossible. So I was explaining this to her and she hanged up during mid convo. Disgusting customer service and appalling service. I will never recommend and will be putting an official comPlaint to Enfield Council! Disgusting!!!

I used to go hear every week but unfortunately they stopped the buffet menu and it was quiet expensive so haven’t been for years. I went back last week and they had they buffet menu back. The food is piping hot and tastes amazing. For £20pp you can order as much as you want. I will be returning this week. 😊
