never had an issue with this place. food is really tasty. portions are exceptional. staff are friendly. we always place large orders. i honestly can't remember them ever missing anything or getting incorrect items. it's our regular for Chinese takeaway. most of the time it comes earlier than estimated as well.

Everything else we ordered was nice. Apart from the chicken chow mein which was tasteless had no flavour and the pancake roll wasn’t all that.

No issues being late. Food as always was plentiful and delicious.

Our first order. Prawn balls were very good - enough taste, good prawn, crispy and hot. Singapore Veg noodles - very disappointing - virtually no veg, a lot of noodles, a bit dry, although did taste of Singapore noodles. Szechuan beef was average - beef pieces were fine, but overall lacking enough flavour. Salt and pepper chicken was not bad to good: crispy, hot, enough chilli chopped and decent quality. Hope this helps. Will try again. Delivery could be cheaper

MICROWAVE CHINESE! This place has gone down hill, the last 2/3 times we have ordered we’ve been left disappointed. Not what it used to be to say the least! Heavy evidence that the food we ordered had NOT been made fresh, looked as if it had been sat in a fridge and the container it was in had been microwaved! Was also out for delivery 10/15 minutes after we placed the order. Go somewhere else where the food is cooked fresh. The thought of it now makes me feel sick. Waste of money

Sweet and sour chicken was good, prawns in black bean sauce and rice and noodles were good, however the Quarter Crispy Aromatic Duck was a bit dry like it was old/re-heated. Overall good but I would not have the duck again.

Are used sunflower for the first time on Friday night, it is now Sunday night and I’ve ordered again but I’m disappointed this time. The pot of seaweed which was expensive was small, the egg fried rice was dry and I ordered crispy shredded beef chow mein thinking it would have an element of sauce to it like if you have crispy shredded beef on its own, but it doesn’t, and that’s dry as well. At least the foxes will get fed. Won’t use again

Order came a bit early and everything was hot. Ordered a sharing platter, the prawns in breadcrumb were over, the ‘wonton’ was just crush dried dough/pastry (literally no filling at all), spring rolls and prawn toast were nice. Had a Kung Po roast pork, was expecting peanuts but there wasn’t any and didn’t taste of it, the sauce was ok but the pork was very over cooked and tough. The vegetable rice was nice, don’t bother with the egg fried rice.

The food was delivered quickly which was great but the flavouring wasn’t great and the chicken balls were huge. Was disappointed with my meal overall unfortunately.

Some of the containers were not closed properly and we got the sauce soaking the boxes and bag

Never had a problem here. However the Peking pork was shocking. Thick rubber like lumps of pork. Singapore noodles were tasteless. And the ‘grilled’ Chicken dumplings were fried. Full of oil. Won’t be returning.

Good took a while to come. Some of it really tasty some of it was had a different flavour to what I thought it would be. Not tried this place before. Was okay.

First time ordering from hete and very pleased. Fresh tasty food and not greasy. Well packaged, good portions and delivered on time. Value for money would recommend

As always the food from sunflower was fantastic and piping hot on arrival but this time the delivery guy buzzed my door and said your delivery is by the door and left. Had to go down several flights of stairs carrying my 1 year old it was a pain. Sunflower don't use that guy again usually great drivers too not this clown

Delivery was fine, food was hot but the food just wasn’t fantastic. In particular the sweet and sour pork was really fatty which made it quite unpleasant.

Absolutely adore Sunflower! Their food is always yummy and they do the best sweet and sour chicken I've ever tasted. Food is always cooked quickly and is warm. Sunflower is our go-to Chinese. Highly recommend!

First -and last!- time using this restaurant. Unfortunately the food was not nice. The Chicken Fried Rice and Balls were fine. But the main dishes- Beef in black sauce and Chicken in yellow bean sauce - were disgusting, the meat was like cardboard. Might be ok for some, but not for me.

We always have our Indian from here but tonight and the last time we had chicken tikka masala it had no taste and was watery. Might have to look around

We fancied trying them on Uber to add some extras to our home cooked stir fry and rice. We ordered some spring rolls which were small, lots of pastry, not much filling, but crispy. I consider myself a hot and sour soup connoisseur. It’s my Chinese restaurant ‘go to’ order for assessment. I really liked this one. It was actually (chilli) hot, tasty and had plenty of the ‘good stuff’…veg, meats, shrimp etc. The only other thing we ordered was some veggie chow mein. It was fine. Pretty average and although there was a nice selection of veg in the noodles, the chefs knife skills are not 100%. Big, slapdash chunks. Not a big problem but it seems to be becoming a theme in Chinese takeaways these days. The knife skills are not there. Oh, and comparing it with others….it’s not too expensive!

I’ve been using sunflower Chinese for many years now and I can say without a doubt they are one of the best out there. Tonight I thought I would try their squid, unfortunately it was very rubbery and didn’t taste very good and the portion size for the special house noodles was pretty poor, there was quarter of a pot of noodles and the rest was vegetables and some meat. The chicken balls and prawn toast were great, crispy and exactly how I like them, with good portion sizes. ‘Fried’ broccoli didn’t seem fried and was cold. The mixed vegetables were tasty. Delivery time was good and the driver was kind. Will use again but some improvement is needed.

Waited two hours. Order didn’t arrive. Called numerous times, no answer.

Was over an hour late, so we had to drive down to the restaurant to collect our food after trying to call them 22 times with no answer!!

This was about the WORST Chinese meal I've had and I do not believe 5* these reviews! The BBQ pork had obviously been reheated several times and was like wood, the crispy duck was dried out and both were not fit to eat. They should have been thrown in the bin, not sent out to a customer!! When I called the restaurant, they tried to say it was meant to be like that. But I've eaten decent Chinese food and love it. We will never eat here again.

Superb, piping hot, arrived earlier than expected.

Food was very bland no flavour at all in the crispy chilli beef, chicken in the sweet and sour balls was tough. It tasted like I had yesterday’s left over didn’t taste fresh at all. Overall very disappointing I don’t think I’ll be ordering again.

Prawn toast was rubbery, we didn’t eat it. The duck was very dry, we ran out of plum sauce trying to make it palatable. The roast pork was also incredibly dry in-spite of being in a sauce. I would guess both the duck and the pork were reheated from another day or longer.

My order was early which was good, but delivery driver was rude when I realised that my drink wasn’t with my order walking off as I was trying to talk to him. Restaurant did ring me and tryed to get someone back out but that same delivery driver didn’t want to. Got refund of just eat

Food was very tasty and we enjoyed it however we ordered at just gone 7pm and it arrived at 9:29 after 3 calls to the restaurant, they were friendly and explained the situation but even the good food was hard to justify such a huge delay also found it cheeky it was marked as delivered at 8:30 which I presume was just to keep their stats up and way off the actual delivery time.

Never order from here. They were over an hour late and when we called to complain we got attitude from the person who answered the phone. Not worth it!

I was told I would get a call to arrange. Refund but that didn’t happen. 😡

Waited a hour and half for food....That hasn’t turned up but says delivered! Tried to ring restaurant constantly engaged! BAD SERVICE!!!

This is the second time we have ordered from the sunflower, it’s definitely our new favourite Chinese takeaway. Very tasty food.

Everything undercooked. Crispy beef had no beef in it just air. Everything was just pale looking and not nice.

Food quality was great and nice tender meat only one issue: the peanut sauce flavour could have been stronger. Great vegetables noodles were tasty.
