No idea what happened. Is it a new management but food was very bad! We always ordered from you guys but never again

It took an hour and twenty’s five minutes from paying for order to delivery

This place has changed so much, food is not the high quality it once was, watered down sauces and greasy chicken balls. Staff can be quite rude as well.

Called them to inform them the order we received was incorrect and the women on the phone argued saying it wasn’t. Will never order from this place again, they deliver whatever they want to you clearly.

The delivery was on time. The food was very bland. Really disappointed.

There was no seaweed in the mixed starter as described

food was gross and took 2 hours to arrive. when it did arrive it was cold.

Waited an hour and a half. Food very disappointing. Lacked flavour. Bean sprouts were luminous red!

Ordered food at 6:47pm and food was meant to be delivered between 8:10 - 8:30pm although I am only 5 minutes away. Food never came. Called them at 8:40pm and their ordering machine was supposedly not working and my order only came through to them at 8:10pm. New time of 9:05pm. Food never came. Called again and food was delivered at 9:25pm. Almost 3 hours.

Delicious as usual. We have learned that contrary to the initial delivery time - it always ends up being 2hrs from order to delivery

The food is disgusting, it is not as described in the menu. Fatal experience.

Horrifically disgusting and tasteless food. 5 stars for managing that atrocity Noodles were an overcooked mushy tasteless mess which they were very generous with the portion mind you, rice was tasteless if you don’t count the chilli piercing through all your tastebuds (all you can taste). Salt and pepper squid was overcooked rubber Only redeemable dishes were the salt and pepper ribs and wings which were not salt and pepper mind you. But not enough to earn more than a star. It’s horrible had to chuck the food away. Save your money. They should focus on better service and quality food as this is the most horrible chinese food i have ever had. “Delicious house” is a joke im sure they laugh about

Ordered the food at 6:45 said they will deliver the food at 7:45, when I had called and asked about my food they had said that my food hadn’t even been prepared, abysmal service , should be some sort of compensation.

Wow - I ordered at 7.05pm and my food arrived at 9.05pm. Pathetic. And my compensation? A £5 voucher to use on my next order. Two hour wait! Two hours!! Utter rubbish. And the food wasn’t worth the wait.

Food was delicious, but delivery time was terrible. Twice they postponed our order. Tried cancelling the order via the app but we would still have had to pay. Phoned the restaurant and they assured us they would do their best to get it to us. Arrived just over 2 hours after ordering.

Yesterday I order some food and they probably my t have enough and they send me a cheap item Mix with the food I really want .. what they send me was horrible to eat .. I complain to just est and they not even care . In our day they not care if we receive our food or not .

Absolutely HORRENDOUS! I wrote a review 4 years ago on this place and I couldn’t praise it enough. Last night our food was fit for the bin! All sauces watered down drastically, noodles over cooked and mushy, chicken balls full of grease chips and prawn cracks were actually inedible and burnt. Crispy chilli beef tasted nothing like what it’s meant to. The duck was sloppy and cold. No spring onions with duck. Honestly stay well away! I really fancied a Chinese and it completely ruined it for us. The food went in the bin

Thought I’d give this restaurant a second go as the last time food not that good. Well, food was a joke this time around, rice was clumpy, noodles were flavourless, chicken in batter was oily, yuk yuk yuk it went straight into the bin.

Tried to order through ubereats on a Tuesday. States the shop is open from 4.30, promised kid we would get a Chinese. Shop isn’t open on Tuesdays apparently. Checked on Google for opening hours and it states open on Wednesday. When I phoned up the shop they claim they don’t open until Thursday. Shocking they can’t even put correct business hours properly nor have a working website let alone run a proper business and have good food hygeine standards. Fuming

First time order from this place,after reading reviews I asked them not to burn the chips,chips over cooked chicken balls were more like chicken nuggets and after putting curry sauce on the meal everything tasted of lemon. For a new customer you'd think they'd make an effort,will not use again.

My usual Chinese takeaway was closed, so I took a chance on Delicious House. It was a busy Saturday night so we did have to wait about 45 minutes but the food arrived piping hot and huge portions. A lot of takeaways only 3/4 fill the containers but Delicious House really fill each container to the brim. Very impressed , I am looking forward to my next chinese meal and I will definately use this takeaway again.

Food is average. The waiting time is atrocious, averaging 1 hour to an 1 hour 30 mins??

Ordered a takeaway from this restaurant and was quite impressed. good-quality food at unbelievably low prices. Authentic flavours and great packaging. Friendly customer service too. Highly recommend for an amazing and budget-friendly meal!

All food was lovely apart from the beef with veg dish. Beef was a strange colour, no taste and of poor quality.

Delicious food. Each dish packed with food. Lovely chow mien too, and not filled with onions and bean sprouts like so many other places. Will order again.

Crispy chilli beef bland, it had no flavour or any spice at all. After I’d eaten most of the duck pancakes I found some meat with a green metallic sheen on it. Prawn crackers flavourless and too hard.

Cannot find any fault, have used them many times. Food is always freshly cooked and hot on delivery. Great prices too

Food is nice but be prepared for a very long delivery. Ordered the food at 7:46pm and was quoted a delivery time of between 9:00 - 9:20pm with the food being delivered at 9:35pm. Best to order well in advance.

Have been ordering food from Delicious House for years. Never disappointed! Its our go to Chinese takeaway! No 1 in the area.

The member of staff who took the call had me wait for 4 minutes before he even entertained taking my order. When having received an order previously the food was sub standard and there were countless substitutions for food items that weren’t available, not sure how a chicken nugget is a valid substitution for duck spring rolls. None of which was I made aware of at the time of ordering, so I asked if they were still pulling the same trick. Indeed they are. When challenged about the menu not representing what was really being sold the member of staff was not interested in the sharing of said thoughts and proceeded to tell me these ingredients were too expensive, yet they still expect customers to order menu items that are incorrectly advertised and pay the same price for a dish that contains lower quality/ substituted product - kinda falls into the false advertising category no? On top of this the member of staff proceeded to tell me they were a cash only business, cool no problems with that. When I asked when this changed - I have been a customer for 3 years now - he proceeded to tell me they’ve always been cash only the card machines are too expensive. False, up until now I’ve always paid by card. This establishment is cutting corners and the quality of food and customer services has nose dived over the past 9 months. There are better quality Chinese food outlets in the area, a real shame as Delicious house used to do exactly what it said on the tin.

I’m not a person that complains but honestly I ordered 2 portions of chips in my order they both was burnt to a crisp couldn’t even bite into them shocking that they was allowed to leave like it! I called up they offered to bring more I said ok, he was very polite and apologetic, then called me back and said the driver said it was to far! So all they can do is give money off next order! Not good enough the chow mien was like sludge I thought the 5 star rating was a winner but definitely was not will stick to what I know.. I walked to my local Chinese and got some for my daughter you can see the difference in colour in the picture..it’s shocking I know it’s only chips but how they was allowed to leave the shop I can’t understand.. there was no potatoe left they was fried to a stale crisp lol … chow mien was slush as was the rice hands down the worst Chinese I’ve ever had this is the first review I’ve left it’s that bad! Can’t even put it down to taste it’s actually not even edible

Worth the wait. Tasty and hot, delivery driver went to wrong flat but found in the end, was a pleasant chap!

I have used this restaurant for a long time & was always more than satisfied. Good service & food was delicious. Tonight it took over 2 hours to be delivered. The food was unacceptable. The crispy duck was far from crispy & was a mass of fat. It was inedible & went in the bin. Will never order from this restaurant again.

We ordered vegetable chow mein, my partner was eating it and there was half a really hot chilli in it! I’ve had this dish before many times never had there been chilli. This would have been awful if it was a child as was seriously hot, he was choking.

Food took 2 hours to arrive (originally said it would be about 45 mins to deliver), when it got here it was clear they had reheated it in a microwave as it was extremely hot and massively overcooked. All the food was chewy, flavourless or soggy. It was virtually inedible but I had no choice but to try and eat it but a lot sadly went in the bin. I think they get more orders than they can deliver and then just can't cope but won't stop taking orders. Would rather they just didn't take the order. Terrible and won't go back.

I order once a week. And the food is what it says delicious. The price is very reasonable and great portions. They very friendly on the phone and listen to your requests. I love my Chinese food. & have found this the best in the area. And for delivery. I look forward to my Sunday cheat nights.
