Amazing service! They arrived within 30 minutes instead of the originally estimated 1 hour. Food neatly packed, piping hot, fresh, and delicious! We were also surprised to find that they included free prawn crackers with our order! They were very polite too. The delivery on google maps doesn’t work very well but the one on their website works much better. This will definitely be our go to Chinese takeaway from now on!

Chinese Canteen has been my Go-To Chinese Take-away in Worcester Park since the 1990's when it opened. I had rarely visited Chinese Take-aways before then as my experiences had not always been good. Friendly staff & the food is always fresh and tasty and prices are fare. Thoroughly recommend! A+++

Avoid please, worst Chicken curry dish ever. They cooked the so called string chicken in 2.5 minutes - rubbish straight in the bin. Hygiene, I wonder if it is possible to give a negative score.

Excellent Chinese take away, wish I’d tried it sooner! The gentleman running it was incredibly helpful with allergen requests, and could tell me exactly what things were made of. The portions were great and for the price very generous. The quality of the food was superb, with textures and seasonings being absolutely spot on. Just really good Chinese take away food. Chinese is my favourite and I’ve tried a lot of places. Easily in my top 4. Love all the plants growing in the waiting area too!

Our favourite Chinese take away! Always on time, clean and friendly! We order at least once a week and never disappointed! The duck is our last discovery and we go crazy about that now!!! Last favourite chicken with lemon as arrived a bit soggy as the sauce wasn’t separated, didn’t ordered again, so maybe it’s changed. I would suggest to become more eco friendly as the plastic boxes, also if we try to reuse are a very shame. I’ll add a star ⭐️ when this goal will be achieved 🤗

The food was awful with an overwhelming salt taste as though it had been dropped into all the dishes by mistake.It was also cold. it ended up in the bin apart from the prawn crackers which were lovely.

I went to this place with my friend on the 17/07/21 and I just would like to say how fantastic this place is. I had very nice chicken fried rice and nice panned fried dumplings with my meal and a nice drink with my meal as well. The staff are very friendly to me and my friend and I asked for plastic forks for me and friend they give us some with napkins. If you you live in Worcester Park or if you visiting this place to have dinner I would recommend this place to have dinner. well done Chinese Canteen you deserve a five star rating from me and my friend and a 10/10 for your excellent customer service.

Has always been my Son’s favourite Chinese takeaway & I Can’t rave enough about our delicious take away this evening. The special mixed meats & plain chow mien was outstanding, packed with loads of meat & king prawns. Peking spare ribs & best crispy seaweed by far ❤️Fast, hot delivery. Definitely having all that again!

Only discovered Chinese Canteen on Saturday as recommended by a work colleague. All dishes we ordered was amazing and very similar to my regular back in the Midlands. Waiting time is abit long but I think that's due to the current pandemic and maybe a reduction in staff. Ordered again tonight and the delivery was under 30 mins 😁

I go with my wife to this nice place quite often! This is the best place to eat. I visit this spot many times. The cooking is very tasty, the team is courteous and the rates are good. I like being in this restaurant for a good supper.

Do not order from here. Our food was 45 minutes late and on arrival the food was stone cold. When questioned, the delivery women told us to put our dishes into the microwave to re-heat. When speaking to the restaurant over the phone, they were unhelpful and nothing they could do. Please do not order from here.

Great value Chinese on my doorstep! Can’t believe I’ve not tried this restaurant having lived in Worcester Park for 12 years. Is the best Chinese in the area in my opinion. Love the Kung Po chicken, dumplings, smoked shredded chicken and chow mein. In these challenging times I’m so pleased to have found this place! Also delivered to the door in good time. Highly recommend.

Great food- open kitchen so we know what's happening inside. Do not order online i tried ordering online and it wouldn't go through, i ended up phoning in a collection order and I was explained to the online service was quite bad but they are happy to take telephone orders. Highly recommend the salt and pepper chilli prawns- best ones I've tasted out of most of the chinese takeaways in the area! Great food will be ordering again😊

Really nice Chinese takeaway. Everything I have had on the menu is nice. A little pricey in places but not the worst in the area on price by far.

My friend recommended this place saying the food was the best around I had pork in black bean sauce special fried rice and barbecue ribs. They put some pre cocked pork in the wok added oil and a little sauce fried it up with onions etc put it in a container, stuck some ribs in the fryer and poured sauce over them and flipped the rice. VERY BLAND WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ILL STICK TO HEENS IN SUTTON

FIRST TIMER. I placed an order at 6.45pm , I tried to telephone to confirm order as soon as soon as possible to confirm order was placed as I was paying by cash. Could not get through until 19.37pm and was told ( I think it's on its way!!) I said what do you mean is it or isn't it ( it is on its way...he said). It's now 20.06pm, I can not get through on the telephone, an evening with my girls to eat Chinese and do a jigsaw puzzle has turned quite disappointing. I've never known to wait so long for an order. Thank goodness I didn't pay online as I would ask for a refund. I'm going to order from our local Chinese takeaway

Decent takeaway food at a reasonable price

A month ago I bought shredded crispy chicken in chilli sauce and it tasted nothing like it should've, in fact it didn't taste of anything let alone chilli. Considering I've had this dish from several other Chinese restaurants and it's been delicious. This was the complete opposite. Fast forward a month, I decide to give Chinese Canteen another try with a different dish, Kung Pao chicken (or as it's listed on their website, "King Po chicken",) ordered it at 11:15pm and got back to my house at 11:20 ready to tuck into the meal. One mouthful in, I realise it tastes exactly like the last dish I ordered from there, absolutely no flavour as once again it was inedible. I look on their website and it states they close at 11:30pm, so I put the remains in the fridge ready to take to the takeaway tomorrow as proof that I couldn't touch what they had prepared for me the night before. When I arrived and tried explaining the situation, I was greeted with hostility, telling me obviously the meal tastes bad the next day (I wasn't even telling them that I ate it the next day), and the member of staff constantly tried telling me that I should've brought it back last night and that they can't refund it today. Instead of being able to see my point of view and offering standard customer service, the member of staff refused to help me out whatsoever. I'm not a fussy eater, I will try most things and I can tell when something doesn't taste right. What I experienced twice in a row was bad food, it was overloaded with garlic and onions, and I couldn't taste any spices. Bad food, bad customer service, bad choice. Avoid.

I don't recommend this restaurant. I ordered through their website but I'd been waiting for my dinner more than 1hour and I called them to complain about it they said they didn't receive any order for me. What the.. Where is my food and money. I will claim about it .

I’m a good customer, food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ brilliant but the woman that answer the phone for delivery is very rude, have no manners to explain anything, that is very disappointing. Seams like she’s not happy with her job.... “Hey that’s no my problem “ I’m a customer that is just happy to buy your food. The delivery guy is very polite. Service is everything... When people are not happy with the service they will simply stop to buy.

I always order the Singapore noodles but more and more frequently I am finding that the shrimps they use are cheap and are never deveined which is so off putting. The various other dishes we order are now always so so greasy. Really gone downhill.

A little dirty even though they cook right in front of you. They don’t seem to be bothers washing their hands after cleaning the surfaces.

Do not order online!!! We live this Chinese however recently they have been appalling with delivery and admitting to taking the phone off the hook due to people chasing! The now do online which has been great however one 2 occasions now (specifically when you opt to pay cash on delivery never a problem by card!!!) we have waited an hour and the called only to be told their online isn't working and there is a an hour delay!!! Horrendous! Advise you pay by card then you will actually get your food! Also their customer service is appalling!

A really nice takeaway where (if you collect) you can see your food prepared and you don't have to wait a long time. A big "Yum" from me!

Once a month the family and I have a take away from here, always good food, the food is prepared in front of you.

Food was over thirty minutes late on arrival,was only just warm. We had to reheat which didnt do it any good and the general standard of the food was very average. I wouldnt recommend this takeaway and wont use it again.

The worst takeaway ever ,.chicken balls burnt to a crisp one was only batter , curry sauce more like curry water. would never use again no matter how drunk

Cannot think of anywhere else that I would go for a Chinese take away in Worcester Park. Everything cooked right in front of you and with a fast turn around. Chicken in yellow bean sauce and all their noodle dishes are particularly good. Always good value for money too.
