Food always hot taste and plenty of it

Ordered last night for the family and I have to say it was one of the nicest Chinese takeaways we have ever had. Everything was tasty and arrived hot and fresh. You guys will be our go-to Chinese from now on.

Haven't been to this Chinese for a few months. Seems to have gone downhill. Sweet sour chicken chewy king prawn and spring onion had funny taste so didn't eat. Wasted £13.40 will not be using this takeaway again. Prices have also increased quality yuck.

Mechanically reclaimed (processed) chicken pieces, in the chicken chow mein; not fresh chicken pieces cut directly from a chicken. Felt like eating rubber

Had the experience of a friend taking me here recently. Food was to die for. I ended up preferring the simple tofu over all of their incredibly flavoured items, but I them having such a variety of foods made the journey to find my perfect meal such a delight! It's hard nowadays to find good authentic food like this, and after visiting them a few times now, I can gladly say I'm a big fan of their work. Will definitely be going again!

Discovered this small gem when visiting a friend nearby. It's a small classic cantonese chinese place, not many of these authentic places left. It's always a good sign when you hear the chefs shouting at each other in the kitchen. The food does not disappoint. I have been there a couple of times now, i try to order something different every time, slowly working my way through the menu, and haven't had anything that is not tasty yet. Highly recommend 👍

Rubbish it was,I felt sick onto my stomach, the food was really bad and I was sick all night couldn't sleep at all,I was ok before I had that horrible Chinese food.

Food is always nice here, a little pricey but worth it. The lady at the desk is also very nice. They only take cash which is a bit of a burden.

A good Chinese food restaurant, especially Chicken Fired Rice. Beef Ho Fun and Roast Pork Chow Mein also good. Cash Only.

Unfortunately the food was terrible. I don't know what kind of food it was but I would not call it Chinese takeaway. I will not be ordering from here again.

Pearl China makes fantastic food, I do not think I’ve had one dish from there which I disliked. Very accommodating for vegetarian diets too! The staff are very friendly, and portion sizes are good

Our backup takeaway when The Emporers Kitchen is closed round the corner, but both are fantastic takeaways with tasty authentic Chinese food. Recommended.

Food is average, but there is always an issue when you do not have cash. At the moment not many people like to pay by cash, but this is always met with a bad attitude. You would have thought that by now, and especially during a global pandemic, when the world is shunning cash, they would have upgraded to a card machine. My family have had take aways from here for years, but due to the owners attitude, and bad manners, we will no longer be eating food from here. There is a far better and friendlier Chinese Take away about 3 minutes around the corner, that will now be getting our custom (They do also take cards)

I am disgusted ....ordered from their menu from their site to be over charged by £14 when I phoned pearl China they told me they had changed their prices but are not willing to honour menu price or change any of the online menu prices ...the member of staff spoke to me disgustingly and told me I had to deal with the fact that they added at least £2.50 to each dish and that they didn't have to change the prices on all 5 sites that show them prices ...should be shut down absolute RIP off merchants .

OK...but some of the food was rather greasy than other takeaways I have tried.... reasonably priced and didn't have to wait long.

Visiting Pearl China was certainly an experience to remember, the food here appears simple but the flavors have a remarkable depth. I would recommend it to everybody, and for those searching for an extraordinary culinary experience like no other, look no further than Pearl China. I would also like to praise the staff, as they were very nice and friendly. :)

It was OK and the large portion was larger than some but I've had better tasting food elsewhere.

Best and most authentic and tasty Chinese food in the area! Highly recommended, prices are quite cheap in comparison to competitors. Definitely won’t find better anywhere else!

Great food and friendly staff clean shop

After calling in a order I was told that it would be ready in around fifteen minutes. When I arrived to collect the order fifteen minutes later I was left standing at the counter without anybody acknowledging me while the young man who took my order and an older lady argued about messed up orders. After about ten minutes, by which time there was quite a queue behind me, I was told that the phone had cut out before my order was complete and consequently it had not been put through but if I wanted to wait they would continue with the order. I declined the offer as saying that the phone had cut out was untrue and a blatant excuse for messing up yet another order. A simple apology would has sufficed, but there was none offered. I have been a customer for many years but will not be going back.

First time after the new chef now , he was the guy at the chinese restaurant in mulgrave. So I’ll be coming here in future , excellent , highly recommended

I have eaten takeaways from here for several years, various items too.very nice food.You must try the chilli & salt ribs and squid,so good...one time I mentioned that the squid wasn't good,they were so apologetic and supplied a free portion on our next order...fab service and fab food always

Same family for years. Always a warm welcome & good menu with tasty food & reasonable prices. Although they don't deliver its a short distance from lots of bus routes around the area & orders can be placed on the phone prior to pick up.

Good food, reasonably priced. Can be a bit mixed for consistency - had the odd stale fried rice.

This is one of my favourite chinese restaurants near where I live. Shame that they don't delivery but the food is delicious and you don't have to wait too long.

we dident enjoy our meal it was tasteless the food used to be really nice and we used to order from here alot after our meal on reviewed this takeaway it only has 2 stars for hygiene which is worrying.

Sadly they do not deliver. But the food is perfect for my taste. excellent quality Singapore fried rice, beef in black bean sauce and many more. Worth the walk to pick it up.

I have used this establishment for years. Always a friendly service. Always a good meal. But can be very popular during peak times.

Ieri sera, io e il mio compagno abbiamo preso del cibo qui. Il pad thai sia alla carne che alle verdure era molto buono e la porzione abbondante. Abbiamo speso 7£... quindi ok. Ci ritorneremo.

Love the food! But they don't deliver which is a pain. Would recommend 100% if you can drive and pick it up. Or do a me and ask the Mrs to lol.

This small takeaway restaurant is near Carshalton College and it has very good food. Call your order in and pick up a surprisingly wonderful meal. Try the shrimp toast and the Thai veggie dish. Orders are about right for normal servings. Singapore fried rice is also good.

The Pearl China is not a restaurant it is a take away. We have been using them for our takeaways for 17 years, ownership changed about 3-4 years ago and things did go downhill a bit for a while but soon came back to virtually the same high quality of food we had been used to. Pity they don't do delivery but then they are so busy it would probably take forever to be delivered. Best Chinese take away in the area in our opinion and wouldn't go elsewhere
