The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Just ordered chicken curry fried rice. Bland had to put salt on to make it edible, rice was bland, mushrooms tasted funny like a bleach taste, total mess and waiste of money, never again

This is authentic Chinese food. I think some of the mixed reviews are from brits expecting the typical ‘Chinese takeaway’ food. The food I had was excellent and the 2 waiters, a young man and young lady were very friendly and helpful.

My usual go to place. The munchy box is great and a big portion. 5 stars!

Struggling to understand the good reviews, haven't been in years because the last visit was terrible & we all got ill. Saw a recommendation on a local fb group so thought we should give it another try as it had been years since last visit. It was so bad, the roast pork had clearly just been microwaved, we didn't eat it! Looked dry & crusty, we also order veg noodles, the noodles were crispy, the veg was tinned sloppy mushrooms & a few carrots with a clear almost brine like sauce. The only thing that was edible were the hordeurves & the egg fried rice. Avoid this establishment if you like Chinese food! To add insult to injury the decor is so old, looks like they have carpets on the wall!

Been coming here for years and years and was always our favourite takeaway. Last few times we've noticed how expensive it's gotten but the quality has dropped hugely. Prawn toast on all occasions have been soggy with VERY little prawn. The spring rolls from the mixed starter as ridiculous! Practically no filling at all and just pure filo. Sadly think this will be our last time.
