Magic Wok in East Lindsey

I am staying at Tattershall I ordered some food. When it arrived the food was cold the chips was hard and tasted like rubber, chicken balls was so rubber like the oil hasn't been changed for like 3 months. The beef chowmain was vile I wouldn't of fed it to my dog. Only thing that was ok to eat was pawnbrokers. The omelette was vile the eggs wasn't fresh

Whenever we stay at Tattershall we always use this Chinese takeaway and we wasnt disappointed. Prompt delivery to the lodge, price was very reasonable, quantity and quality of food perfect and hot. Would definitely use again and would recommend

Was staying at Tattershall lakes and fancied a takeaway. Had a look online and this place was recommended. So we took the punt. Rang our order in and picked it up. Took around 15mins in all. Food was spot on. We had chicken fried rice, curry sauce, Chinese chicken curry and chips. All the food was cooked and piping hot. No complaints from any of us.

Great, direct service over the phone. The delivery drivers are very accommodating and friendly. The food is hot when it arrives. This place can be very busy and delivery can take over an hour.

Stayed at tatteshall lakes and ordered food to be delivered. The food was nice but a couple of the sauces were not great. One portion of the salt and pepper chips tasted sweet which wasn't pleasant. Chicken curry was lovely though!

It is not very often that I can get the whole family to eat the same takeaway, but it seems that the Magic Wok have enabled that to happen for me. Despite the sat nav trying to send the driver, 1/2 a mile down the road in the wrong direction, he found us eventually. Very polite on the phone, courteous and pleasant chat with the driver, and the food was brilliant! We will DEFINITELY be a returning customer. Thank you.

We were holidaying locally and fancied a Chinese on our first night. After looking on the internet found this place and ordered a take out. As were really impressed with the food we got. The portion sizes are very generous. We enjoyed it so much that we also called again on our last night. We will definitely call here again if we holiday in the area.

Called for a takeaway while staying at Tattershall Lakes. Went to this one as the closer one in Tattershall didn't have szechuan dishes on their menu. The staff were friendly and I was quickly served. The vegetables were spicy but the sauce they were in was very runny, little more than spicy water.The rice and crackers were fine.

Decided to have a takeaway while staying at Tattershall Country Park. They delivered and to be honest I was surprised how nice it was. Cannot fault it one bit. Delivered to you on site and the food was spot on. Would highly recommend.

We ordered whilst staying at tattershall lakes. Delivery took a bit longer than the quoted but was lovely and hot on arrival. All the dishes except the chicken curry were really yummy.

Always sceptical choosing chinease as a takeaway at somewhere new but this did not let us down! Everything was very tasty would recommend indeed. The bbq pork chow mein bloody lovely! Would definitely return!

Ordered from here during a break at Tattershall. I was a little sceptical as some of the recent reviews are not good but there was no need to be. We collected the order within 30 minutes of ordering and the food was beautiful. Piping hot despite the drive back I would say this was one of the best Chinese takeaways I have been to. Would definitely use again without hesitation.

Just had our Chinese delivered straight to our caravan door ... can honestly say the food was amazing . Really hot , good portion and a few little extras including fortune cookies . Thank you we will be back !

We love this place - everytime we stay at our mini lodge located on Tattershall Lakes Country Park - it's a must, they deliver direct to the caravan and food is always hot and tastes insane.We ordered several dishes and it was more than enough for two adults and one teenager, the portions are huge!Highly recommend, great food amazing service and massive portion sizes you will not be disappointed.

Unable to order and phone constantly engaged, I was told by a local they put the phone off the hook when they are busy. Poor customer service.

Had a takeaway from here many times and it’s usually decent/good. However, had a meal from here this Thursday (13th Aug) and it was excellent. The best I’ve had from there yet!! Might be a different chef, but was definitely much better. Well worth the money.

Had takeaway from here the other evening it was alright quite tasty but my chow mien was quite dry Would even go as far as to say noodles were stodgy and my partners curry looked like blancmange sauce really thick.

When you want something special for a treat always go to the Magic Wok in Coningsby, simply the best Chinese food I have tasted in a very long time. Amazing.

Ordered £60 worth of Chinese tonight to Bainland Country Park...We are away for the weekend to celebrate a birthday and hand on heart the Chinese was awful...I’ve never experienced Chinese food like it...Everything tastes the same, bland, and the sauces all taste the same, like nothing, and the weirdest thing ever is all the sauces are like jelly..not a runny sauce, set like jelly. Disgusting, gloopy, tasteless and a total waste of money..I’ve had better Chinese meals from Tesco..Will be leaving this review on every platform possible!!

Thank god the golden boy in Horncastle was closed, because making the journey to magic wok in Coningsby was well worth it not had a Chinese that good in ages.. spot on

We have had deliveries to our unit at tattershall lakes Country park several times. The food arrives on time is hot and super tasty. Cant recommend highly enough great takeaway and having it delivered too is amazing.

I have used the Magiuc Wok now on several occasions and the food has always been fresh and the staff very pleasent and the wait times acceptable in this busy takeaway. The only reason it does not get five stars is it is about 20% dearer than chineses in towns and cities. I do not know if this is because of its rural location or it is inflated due to the holiday aspect of the village. I would certainly recommend it and will continue to use it myself.

Don't bother...seriously gave hour and half notice turned up no order..scaŕcastic customer service no apologies nothing..walked out seriously don't deserve custom with the attitude given.

Called in recently for a takeaway and definitely the best we have had in the area. Food was prepared quickly, very fresh and tasted great. Great price too. What’s not to like.😀

We ordered some food at 5pm Sunday and was told it will be 1 hour. We called to see what was happening after 1hr 15mins. It finally arrived 1hr 40mins.

good menu, good price trouble is you have to wait... but then again its worth waiting for. shop is always busy which just goes to show that lots of people use it because of the quality of the food

The food was delicious however.. on giving the number and item we would like to order we were offered another option, to which my boyfriend repeated what we would like (bad phone signal) only for us to be told by the guy down the phone ‘well I have written down this one and if it is wrong then it is your problem’ - unnecessarily rude. The food was delicious once it arrived but we did have to wait a good hour and a half for delivery to Bainland Lodge Park on a Thursday night!!!!

Ordered a takeaway to Bainland Country Park. Food was prompt, good value for money and delicious. As a family, we were all very impressed and very well fed.

We have used this establishment on a number of occasions. Each time we have ordered over the phone and found the person at the other end extremely helpful, polite and efficient.

First I would like to food was really nice but marked down a star as charged too much. Ask for a2 set meal with change with swap for rice to chow mein, they made change but was charged over £13, could have had full a2 + extra chow main for same price... I know mistakes can be made. Food was really nice and delivered quick.

Just ordered chow mien and Singapore noodles. Exactly the same except the Singapore models had curry powder added. Not cooked through either. Inedible. Will not be returning. The lack of meat/seafood was noticeable in both dishes

Great weekend at Tattershall started by picking up a menu from Magic Wok in Conigsby. Lovely guy running it said would deliver direct to our caravan. Order delivered within 55mins, delivery guy brilliant, food was anazing lovely and warm no need to reheat!! Will defo recommend to others and have even brought the menu home just in case we return to Tattershall in the near future ten out of 10!!

If you find yourself staying at Tattershall Lakes Country Park and you fancy a chinese takeaway then look no further than the Magic Wok. We have had several real good meals from them and they will deliver to your door wherever you are on the site. The food is always hot and very tasty and the prices are very reasonable. We have never had any complaints.

We decided to visit this Chinese for our tea as we used it last year and had a lovely takeaway bacause we decided to stay in and eat as it was the last night of our holiday.it only took about 30 minutes for our order to be ready and on returning back to our lodge at tattershall the food was still piping hot and fresh and tasted.

While on a short break in Lincolnshire at a country park we ordered in from the Magic Wok direct to our little lodge. We only had to give the name of our park and lodge and they knew where to deliver with zero fuss. We ordered for two adults and two children a couple of minutes after five o'clock when they start taking orders; and given that it was a Bank Holiday too, we were pleased to have our food in around 35 minutes - we had been warned that it gets much busier later into the evening. The food was hot enough and everything was tasty, though it has to go on record that the chicken balls were far from spherical, but tasted fine nonetheless. If we visit this part of Lincolnshire again the Magic Wok will probably get another call out.

Got a takeaway whilst staying at Tattershall lakes site. Called in, ordered and had food within 20 minutes. Guy taking orders was very friendly and helpful and it was very busy indeed. Food was so nice and tasty and good size portions. Only ended up here after the Indian around the corner was so badly organised but happy we did, magic wok should have been our first choice.

We order a takeaway from here on the 12/4/19 as we were staying at Tattershall lakes. We are a family of 4 we ordered 4 starters and 4 mains and had 3 drinks whilst we waited, the bill came to £54.00 which isn’t to dear. Only one small group in whilst we were there so can’t say how they would cope if fully occupied but the food was good quality would eat again

What a lovely food place, was very impressed with the portion size and taste, I was a walk in and the place was packed so had to wait 25 mins but it was packed so I didn’t mind. lovely staff and a lovely young lady that served me on the counter on Friday night so friendly and was only too happy to help me on the choice of food I could try. Will most certainly go back and Order from again

We were recommended by a friend to try this place,while we were staying at Tattershall Lakes,called in on our way out for a drink,placed order to be delivered to lodge,everything arrived (a little late) piping hot and absolutely delicious,one word of warning the portions are huge.....Thank you Magic Wok.

We ordered a takeaway and it didn't take too long to arrive but it was awful. Poor quality, badly cooked and tasteless. I wondered why the delivery driver was laughing so much. Now I know, he must have been thinking "I'm glad I'm not eating that!". Don't bother.

It was my birthday had a bad cold did not want mix germs,, we are away staying at Dakota caravan park,, orderd Chinese from magic wok takeaway,! Waited 15 mins max and what a lovely Chinese,! And got fortune cookies,! Thank you magic wok for a lovely birthday takeaway,! And it was fresh,,, thanks again ,!

Due to the popularity of this restaurant, delivery can often take up to 2 hours but on this occasion we were so lucky to have it delivered within 20 minutes/ half an hour. We were all hungry from working all afternoon building and painting a new stable in our yard. It was the penultimate evening at the end of my husband’s Christmas holiday and the food choice and flavours were perfect.

Our usual Chinese was closed along with a number of others we had considered! We had a starter of assorted appetisers followed by special chow mien for me with my wife having king prawn in black bean sauce! Quite enjoyed the starters especially the prawn toast but we found both main courses a little disappointing, although plentiful they were rather bland! We shall hesitate on this experience to use again!

Very disappointing! we agreed to wait 2 hours for delivery when we ordered however after 2 hours 20 minutes we called up to find out how much longer they would be. we were told it would be a further 20 minutes and they hadn't even left. when I pointed out we had ordered £60 of Chinese and it was over the time limit the guy on the phone said " if you're after a discount were not going to do that" (I hadn't even asked) then said "we are only running 20 minutes late" (IT doesn't take a maths genius to work out the total delay would have been 40 mins) when I challenged the time delay they put the phone down on me. 2 hours 40 mins later no Chinese and from now reading previous reviews it may have been a blessing in disguise! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.! absolutely disgusting!

Stayed at Tattershall Lakes ordered a take away on our first night delivery was quick & food was delicious.

We had a takeout meal from Magic Wok whilst having a long weekend break close by.

Never again will we use the Magic Wok! Absolutely appalling customer service!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!! AVOID!!! ....... foods not good anyway! Millenium Dragon is far better they are in Tattershall 👍🏻

Phoned to place a order to collect , still wasn’t ready when I went to collect and had to wait another 20 mins , the little man behind the counter is very rude and sarcastic in person as well as on the phone , food is very bland . There is nicer Chinese takeaways in the area , will not use again due to rudeness of staff !

Food always amazing, the only thing I will criticise is the chow mein and rice, just a bit bland. Other than that best take away for miles. Best Chinese I have ever had, always friendly , it is that good you struggle to get through but it's worth the wait.

Order was barely edible had deep fried shredded beef which was like eating flavoured plastic, Cantonese chicken was like rubber literally squeaking as u bite into it, dry egg fried rice only food that lived up to the hype I've been hearing was the salt and pepper chips waste of money and time chewing.

We ordered a delivery this evening and was told upto an hour. 1 hour and 30 min later it arrived. In the mean time I rang to find out what was going on and the abuse I recieved down the phone from the owner was unreal. Very unkind and a very bad attitude. I ended up putting the phone down in tears. Meal was terrible. A take away is a treat to me, so when I do order one, it is because I have saved for it and want to look forward to it. I will not be using them again and they should be ashamed to speak to a women in that manner..... will be reporting tomorrow

Absolutely horrible food I actually had 3 mouth fulls and had to chuck the rest in the bin, phoned to complain to be met with the arrogant guy on the phone definitely one to AVOID there are plenty of other places local or even better find some mud or manure pretty sure it will taste better and save you a few quid

We were staying at Bainland country park, and were recommended by staff to use this restaurant when we were looking for a takeaway for Sunday evening. They delivered to the door of the lodge. The food was l lovely and not and delivered on time. Would highly recommend

Excellent food. Was a bit of a wait on delivery but everyone must have had same idea. Well worth the wait. Not very often we can get a takeaway that suits all of us. Gramps with no teeth, I'm a vegetarian and my son only eats plain food. But we all found something we all found something we liked. £40 to feed 6 and there was lots left over. We'll definitely be back.

Whilst staying at Tattershall Lakes park we decided to order a takeaway. We rang Magic Wok placed our order and were told it would be up to a 90 minute wait, it was a Saturday so understandable. The food arrived within the hour and it was lovely. There was 5 of us that ordered different things and none of us could fault anything. The crispy chilli beef and the chicken curry especially delicious. Would defiantly recommend and would use again. All fresh, all tasty and when it arrived it was still really hot. Perfect

The Magic Wok was recommended to us. The reviews looked good so we ordered. Promised delivery in 1 hour. Actually took 1.5 hours to deliver. OMG what a let down when ir arrived. Prawn toast was dry, burnt and tasteless. Salt n pepper chicken strips were overcooked so much that they were rock hard and nearly broke my tooth. They were also tasteless and bland. The chips tasted like they had been cooked earlier and rewarmed. Finally the chicken curry and rice. The rice was all stuck together in a sticky solid lump and we basically had to mash it. The curry tasted like a poor quality granular mix you can buy at the supermarket As you can imagine most of the meal got binned. My wife rang them as she believes that if you dont give feedback then norhing will improve. They said they would refund £10. Big deal. Shame on you serving this rubbish.

Local to my girlfriend we use this place every now and again. The food is always hot and a quick service. We usually ring to order and walk less than half a mile to collect and it is ready.

The food is absolutely amazing and so tasty. Best Chinese around. Friendly staff and a fast service , plus they deliver to Tattershall Lakes , right to your caravan door.. definitely worth a visit.

Each time I've had take away from here, ive had an upset stomach. However it's good when you're feeling lazy that they deliver whereas the other Chinese in Tattershall does not.

We have just been and collected a take away from here. Staff friendly when ordering. Nipped into the shop, nice and clean and looked very busy which is always a good sign. Food was nice, we both ordered the same thing but it was lovely. If we holiday in the area again we will order from here again.

looked up a menu online ordered a delivery as a surprise for sons birthday payed over the phone checked bank later on and they took more money out rang them back to complain they said they were right as i had looked at an old menu how the hell was i suppose to know know i havnt got enough money left in bank for my direct debit now i will be charged if i had known it was an old menu i cud have taken some thing of out order man was very rude i spoke to it was their fault they shud remove old prices and menus so people know this not order from them again will stick with tattershall aresholes ruined the last part of the day now as im worried about bank charges was spose to b a nice meal for my son now gonna cost me even mo

Piping hot, looked delicious and it was, we had the lemon chicken, crispy chilli beef, cow mien, beef curry and Ribs the best Chinese in the area!

Have been to this takeaway a few times and does not disappoint, went on Wednesday night and I would recommend Special combination for a starter and I had bbq pork in green pepper and black bean sauce and my husband had Chicken and mushrooms, both were lovely and plenty of it, only thing was I forgot to order rice with it but that was my fault. Plenty of choice.

Bloomin lovely chinese. Went to the one in Tattershall as we were staying at Tattershall lakes and it was closed, went up the road and it was beautiful, plenty of it and hot. Had 3 dishes plain chow mein and 1 rice there was plenty for a family of 4 for £24. Def would go there again next time.

We were advised to use the Magic Wok during our stay at Tatershall Lake s Park and did so on a couple of occasions. Their main attraction is that they are interested enough to deliver to your lodge, not just the Park entrance, (as others in the area cannot be bothered). This is very helpful when enjoying a break. Also the food is amazing, and reasonably priced too.

We were recommended this for our takeaway and it did not disappoint, food was piping hot, it was fresh and one of the best we’ve had. It is hard to find great tasting shredded chilli beef nowadays but this dish was spot on! Even though there was just two of us we ordered a fair few dishes and they were delicious! Some of the best prawn crackers too! Would definitely order from here again

We had a take out whilst at a nearby caravan site. Food was very good! There was plenty there and easy service. I would happily return!! Took about 40 minutes delivery! Was worth it!!! Sweet and sour chicken yum!!! Would recommend

Really busy waited a while full shop which shows how busy they are ... little overpriced for portion sizes and curry was very perfume tasting ... some dishes not available as stated in online menu needs updating

Hoy pedimos comida para llevar en wok magia y puedo decir que nos quedamos muy contentos. Toda la comida era sabrosa y se sirve a un precio justo. El personal que nos atendió fue muy amable y dispuesto a asesorar sobre las opciones de plato. Volveremos aquí de nuevo.

Pedimos comida por primera y última vez como parando en las vacaciones en la zona. Cuando llamamos pedimos una vez que me dijeron que en una hora. Después de una hora nos llamaron como me dijeron en camino hacia nosotros. Después de 1 hora 30 minutos nos llamaron otra vez y me dijeron muy cerca y debe ser con nosotros en unos minutos. Después de 1 hora 45 minutos nos llamaron otra vez y me dijeron la misma historia basura así que cancelada y que fue un regalo de cumpleaños en ruinas. Esto sucedió en una noche de jueves fuera de temporada 11 de mayo así que no hay excusa para tan mal servicio y se encuentra evitar! ! ! ! !

Advertised that this Chinese takeaway is open on Bank Holiday and is not! We have had take away from here a number of times and not been disappointed. Unfortunately on this occasion we could not order as telephone was not answered! I have now seen Dave P's review and aren't going to drive to Coningsby to find out if they are closed to to public health.Oh dear!

Ordered, was given the wrong price over the phone, tried to charge £10 more on delivery,was told we had hearing problems and called skiving c**ts and then said they didn't give a s**t about a tenner discusting behaviour will not order from them again

We were staying at Tattershall Lake caravan park. Found Magic Wok via my google map app. The food quality and taste is same as any other Chinese take away. There are no tables inside the shop. We took our take away. It was packaged well.

30/3/17 was at RAF Coningsby watching the display pilot in the afternoon when I got talking to a lady who had eaten the last two nights out of Magic Wok. I just happened to mention I fancied a Chinese the same evening and so took the lady's advice and decided to head the short distance from Boston Lane. I ordered a take-away Fried Rice and a Special Curry. Got back to my caravan and tucked into the food. Piping hot, the rice plenty and the different meat in the curry was how I expected and that was tasty and tender. Not expensive and I guess I could have dined in the Restaurant only chose to go home because I had a Border Collie who needed her tea and water.Will be returning some day soon when I'm back in the area.

We were looking forward to a Chinese take away and were sadly disappointed.The staff were friendly and polite, the food was hot and on time, unfortunately they are the only positives.The special chow mein was bland as was the chicken curry. The fried rice was passable. We left most of our food and had a sandwich instead.What a shame
