Little China in East Lindsey

On holiday and decided to go for little china. The munch box was good value for money and pretty decent....however....we had egg foo yung that was absolutely disgusting and had the most weirdest ingredients and also vary bland. The beef chow mein was made of spaghetti not noodles and was very clumpy...which proves it was spaghetti as starch would cause this. This too was very very bland. The bbq crispy shredded beef was very sweet, almost sweet and sour. Not sure we will order from here again. Shocked so many people rave about this place.....however it is skeggy so say no more.

Visited Little China whilst staying near Skegness. Originally headed to De Beo Chinese which is literally a few doors away but was told it’d be up to an hour wait!!! Glad we used Little China instead. Chap on reception was very friendly! We ordered a meal for two and were really surprised at how much food we received. There was plenty of meat in every dish. Taste was amazing!! Would definitely recommend this Chinese!! Reasonable price too!! We had meal for two and an extra chicken chow mein and it cost £31! A lot cheaper than where we live!! Give it a go!!

The munch box was amazing, £19.50 for a large box which is absolutely full of great food, alot of salt and pepper chicken type stuff but also, prawn toast, rice, spring rolls and rice.

I am a loyal customer to Little China 🤣 I’ve gone to them for a couple years now and I refuse to go to any other Chinese takeaway as I feel like they’re never as good as them. I absolutely live for the munchie boxes they do, they’re everything I love from the Chinese and it’s such a good portion size and a nice mix of different foods. I’ve never had a bad order from them! They are friendly, fast and always serve fresh hot food. 100% recommend I think they’re the best Chinese takeaway in the local area! The only complaint I have is I’m getting fat from eating all these munchie boxes because it’s so good 🤣🤣

Chicken Chow mein was what I ordered what I got was a bland mess the noodles was in clumps, not nice at all, unfortunately my dinner went in the bin.

The food is decent, we have been going for a few years because it is very reasonably priced, especially the meal deals! You get a good amount of food, it is made fresh with good quality ingredients! I would give Little China 4 stars for the food! This is a takeaway, so it does not exactly have an atmosphere.. But the service is good!!

Food bland. Noodles stuck together in a block. Beef tasteless and rubbery. Feel sorry for people who think this a good example of Chinese food. One more thing to consider, cash only purchases.

We ordered from here while on holiday and I've got to say it's probably one of the best Chinese takeaways I've ever had and probably beat value for Monday. We ordered a salt and spicy munch box which was full of chicken, chips, Prawn toast, chicken balls, rice and sauces, great value for money! Really tasty and would definitely recommend 👌

My local Chinese and wouldn’t use anywhere else. Eat here regularly and always top quality food and service and a great family run Chinese.

We tried this Chinese purely for the large munch boxes and they were delicious, 1 large box fed 3. Would highly recommend! Delivery time was very fast too.

Lovely and friendly people food is great

Sorry but only used this take a away as was trying for 2 hours to get through to De Bao. Not again, sorry. People polite, food not so good. Fried rice cold. Curry sauce like polyfilla. Threw chicken noodles away, I just wasn't sure about the chicken. Prawns and sweet and sour vegs good.

But not for us...we are local and certainly wouldn't recommend...takeaways are a luxury (or should be) and looked forward to, not be disappointed by sorry, very poor

Got a 30 pound order got dished it out first expressions were good until we had a prawn. It was gone off! Mouldy absolutely vile. Restaurant fully refunded but I will never get over this. It made me sick

I have to start my review by saying the food here is normally exceptional, however tonight it was truly awful, the whole order was wrong, dry, flavourless and not worth the price, upon ringing them, there was no offer to replace it, no acceptance it was wrong and the whole meal is being binned, last order ever

Ordered meals from this great take away as hadn't been for long long time. Same polite service on the phone and prompt service. Food was absolutely delicious. Recommended.

It didn't taste to bad but the egg fried rice looked unappetizing. It was burnt brown. Within a day both my husband and myself had upset stomachs

Phoned up for order for family. Went to pick it up 30 mins later. Reception clean and counter fully screened. Order placed on a chair and money passed through a slit. Hand sanitizer provided. Food was lovely.

Had a takeaway ,pancake roll,chicken chow mein,egg fried rice ,the PR was so greasy you could have rung it out,the chow mein was flavourless never again.

Great food, quick service. Good value. Chicken satay a little salty for some, others found it delicious. All the other food spot on.

Back when I was a young boy I once had a dream where I sat at the dinner table with my fellow minecrafters and indulged in what can only be described as the best food I had ever tasted. This was that day. I heard the term “munchie box” being thrown around the old town and thought, ho hum I’ll give it a go. Best decision of my life so far. And endless box of salt and peppery goodness drowned in that golden lava curry sauce created a feeling inside that can only be described as true love. From the chicken to the chips, the prawn toast and the spring rolls, every single ingredient flavoured to absolute perfection. I felt I had achieved all I ever wanted in my life as I knew I will never eat a better meal again, but then I remembered, oh wait little China is open again tomorrow!!! Try it people...... you won’t regret it. Your main man... Cherken Shoos.

The lady taking our order was on her phone so got our order wrong, the food was greasy, the Singapore chowmein was not spicey at all and the curry sauce tasted like Morrison's own savers jar curry sauce, do not eat there the Chinese a few doors down is a million per cent better.

Had chicken curry and was very happy with it, very tasty. The only thing is I ordered a duck curry???

Was looking forward to a nice Chinese meal but we were so disappointed! Sweet and sour gravy was so thick its stuck in the spoon; beef with black bean sauce was peppery it choked me when I ate it! Service was fast though.

I’ve had a break from takeaways recently to try and drop a few trouser sizes but welcoming the new year has to be done with a takeaway. Being Little China’s No.1 Fan I had to ensure it was on the cards for tonight’s food. I thought I’d mix it up with the salt and spicy mixed meat and it’s safe to say my mind has been blown!! (Why have a never had this before I proclaimed!!) Bite upon bite of mouthwatering meats seasoned to perfection. I glanced up around the dining table and there was a smile on every face as the family dug into the plates of golden glory. Mountains of oozing curry sauce with a fairly cheeky kick brings the food together in harmony. I’ve got a feeling after tonight’s experience I may be redialling that number many more times in the future, the driver might as-well move in!!!

I always use this chinese but after the most rude person ever answering the phone telling me they dont deliver to ingoldmells when they have several times i wont be going back!!

Awful food!!! Fried rice had boiled meat which was chewy and fatty!!! The boiled chicken in it was slimey!!! Tip for the chefs if you serve fried rice the meat should be fried off if wanted boiled rice and meat id ask for a different dish!!! Next the curry sauce was gloopy and tastes like lemon soap!!! Under cooked chicken ball batter was sticky on the inside. The the bbq ribs okish!! All the all every dish tasted exactly the same like lemon washing up liquid. Poor poor poor!!!!

Visiting from Scotland but been here a few times as it was recommended by the locals a couple of years ago! Never been disappointed! 👍😉

Visited here on a Saturday night, staff were lovely and friendly. Service was very quick and the food was piping hot! I had the house special chow mein which looked lovely however there didn't seem to be much taste to it.. It is my favourite dish usually but I wouldn't want it from here again just for that reason. My partner tried the beef curry and that was ok, beef was a bit chewy but not too bad. It's hygiene rated 5 so at least it's a clean one. I would visit again but I would try something else on the menu.

Ordered food an hour ago from this Chinese called them to find out where it is cause they said it would be bout 30 - 40 mins to be told oh we have tried calling you twice on this number but your phone is off how on earth can my phone be off when I’ve been sat on Facebook waiting for the food to arrive and for then to call me and if I had missed calls i would receive text messages saying you have had a missed call I’m not impressed and I’ve now got 2 very hungry children 😡

Very good takeaway service and very good food. Open most evenings except Tuesdays. There is a good choice of starters and main courses.

Fast, friendly service and plenty of space outside on the street to park! The crispy chilli beef was quite a bit hotter than we are used to and not as crispy but we were very pleased with the meal overall. I’d add a photo but we’ve eaten it all. ;)

Omg amazing food fast efficient service.

Ordered a variety of dishes for 4 people. Some much better than others. The mixed balls were unpleasant with thick doughy batter. Peking Chicken quite nice as were the spicy prawns. Satay nothing like other takeaways and the chicken was slightly undercooked. Needs to improve.

Possibly the worst Chinese I have ever tasted. Shredded beef smelled like fish. Chicken was like chewing on a tyre and the chips were still frozen.

Well Well Well, what a night I’ve had. So I’m sat on my couch enjoying Emmerdale and fancy a Chinese, little China is the first thing that springs to mind!!! I dial the number in the phone to be greeted with a friendly voice on the other end of the phone, he takes my order and ensures I will only be waiting up to 30 mins for my food, and oh didn’t lie. I hear a knock at the door, I can already smell the succulent food in the bag waiting to be dived into!!! I plate up my special chow mien alongside my curry sauce and delve in. Mouthfuls of flavour bless my tonsils as the soft noodles slide down my throat. I finished it off with a small dose of lethal spring rolls which put the cherry on the cake. I shall see you next weekend no doubt for another visit from your delightful young delivery driver!!! FABULOUS

Several people had recommended Little China, so we gave it a try last night. We phoned the order through and they said it would be 25 minutes. When we arrived the food was ready, the lady that served up was really friendly and happy. We got home and the food was so hot still and the portions were really big. The food was excellent. I have now found my favourite Chinese in Skegness

Been going here for years now, easily the best Chinese around! Piping hot and not ever had a problem. Super friendly and always been happy to answer any questions on changing things around as the familys a bit fussy! Superb

Stayed at Butlin's on 17/9/17 and used trip advisor for recommendations & reviews. I ordered a set meal for 1 and paid £1.50 extra to change main meal for a special curry £10 in total.

Upon receiving my Chinese takeaway in very quick timing by a delightful young boy with excellent manners, i unpeeled the plastic bag like a present at Christmas to find my eyes blessed with a portion of free prawn crackers, i dig further into the bag to stumble across a bag of sweet smelling SnP Chips to dip in my thick curry sauce, YUMMY. I then open my large serving of crispy shredded beef in bbq sauce which went down a treat!!! overall very happy with my service and will be 100% be returning to this restaurant again!!!

We had a meal delivered as we were staying at Butlins for our holiday. Meals were hot and very nice. Be back next year. Thankyou..

on holiday we fancied a chinese to take back to our caravan we asked on a local forum and this was recommended to us. well what a meal it was so tasty everything was cooked to perfection we had ribs they were the best we have ever had from anywhere. the price was on par with most take aways we will be back on our next trip

Tuvimos una gran comida para llevar desde aquí recientemente. Encontramos piezas de bolas de pollo y estar bien preparado y fresco. El s/s salsa era muy bueno también. La carne y el tomate era especialmente sabrosa con excelente carne. El pan de gambas eran grasa sin y, probablemente, la mejor que hemos comido de comida para llevar. Una pequeña decepción fue el hongo chow mein, pero nada molesto. Muy agradable y bien de precio. . Volveremos muy pronto.

Just found this takeaway after moving in just around the corner.... so good the first time, it's the second in a week! Extremely tasty, and still hot once home! To top it off. It's opposite a shop to collect beer to go with it

We were on holiday at butlins and decided to have Chinese and went with little china our experience was very good. Quick delivery to main gate on camp good value and quality the only thing that could have been better is the chicken in the chow main was a little dry but every thing else was amazing we will definitely eat here again and would definitely recommend to anyone else staying in Skegness

Great takeaway. We went on a holiday to Skegness a takeaway. They delivered to the reception of the holiday park we were staying in and even called me 5 mins before they arrived so I could make my way to the reception. The food was great (and we are quite fussy with Chinese food) abd the portions were big too, for a crazily low price. I will definitely eat here whenever I stay in Skeggy!

This is our favourite takeaway, although I always oreder the same thing. Its always delicous my family also enjoy their orders too. the owners are friendly and always welcoming. They also deliver and our happy to deliver just a small order. highly recomend a meal from here.

Sometimes you just don't feel like cooking. And when that happens, you order take away. Little China offers good quality food at competitive prices. I had been wanting to try the special (not on the main menu, but go in and look to the left of the menu on the counter) for a while. Often missing closing time by moments, or only having Tuesday nights off. (shut on Tuesday) Well I finally got my specialTasted great. reasonable portion of ss chicken n rice. And small selection of starters including ribs. I'm a fairly hungry person. even with sharing some of mine, I was satiated. The set meals are also very good value. They do very nice pancake rolls. No complaints really Some dishes do taste better at de bao, and some taste better at little China.The service is good and atmosphere is friendly. Over an hour to be delivered and when it came the chicken wasn't cooked properly. Refused to refund also. If your looking for good Chinese food then go to de bao

Always have a treat when visiting skegness for a weekend. Absolutely look forward to it. We all agree that this has to be the best Chinese takeaway we have good from. Loads of flavours, great menu. Love it!

Delicious food, quick service and resonably priced. Just check your order before you leave I once had a dish missing but don't let this put you off the food is lovely.

Took my lovely but fussy Filipina wife for a take out.they changed the rice for her puttingnl infresh chilli and onion.beef in spicy blacknpepper n garlic was great.packed a punch.everything is spot on and staff very help full.give em 5/5 .best Chinese we've had for ages.keep it up

nice little takeaway After a lovely day out in Skegness, me and the family fancied a Chinese and visited little China which was recommended by our B&B. And wow, we were not disappointed! Ordering the spicy chips, chicken chow mein and BQQ ribs which were very tasty and dipping in a few things which the family had like egg fried rice, chicken balls and prawn crackers which were also very nice. Very polite service and quick delivery. Would highly recommend if anyone was to visit Skegness and we will surely be coming back next time.
