Been coming here for years, by far the best in Malvern. Great food

Amazing food, piping hot, tasty & reasonably priced, my first time visit & will not be my last. Nice welcome at the shop, swift service & great delivery of food.

The only chinese takeaway we go to in Shrewsbury & we have a couple closer than this one but always go back here... big portions, great food, not too oily & the staff are lovely & friendly. What's not to love!!

I only popped to Wellington to post a parcel! I felt like a cartoon dog smelling a pie from a neighbours window…. I just had to pop in!! Great service from the get go, the girl greeted me with a smile and an accommodating welcome, then answered whether they take card (they didn’t) no problem! there’s a cashpoint less than 20m away. They took my order and said it would take 20, I went to get my wallet and cash out, to which 40 mins later I return to collect my food, they greet me by my name, still smiling, accept my cash (and greatly appreciated tip) upon getting home the food was still piping hot!! I ordered for me and my mum (of which I had a little taste) I cannot fault the quality of the food, cooked well, tasted great, and presented well (great value for money!! not trying to squeeze it into one tray, the two trays makes the food longer lasting, looking forward to tomorrows leftovers 😆) the chips were great too, usually, chinese takeaways are hit and miss on the chips, but they hit!! the squid with sweet’n’sour sauce was my personal favourite tonight (I had 3 different dishes so plenty for leftovers!!) Great, simple, welcoming, and an overall tasty experience, I shall return!!

Chips were like crisps, why do these take aways always think that everyone is pissed when they order! We ordered our meal at 8pm on a Thursday night, what we were given was like midnight on a Saturday night, very dissapointed 😑

Ordered takeaway at 5.40pm for delivery, was told 45 - 60 mins max, I rang at 7.10pm to see where the meal was, I was then told it would be 5mins ha ha, 7.25pm the meal arrived. Can't review the food as we refused it, we'd had beans on toast because we were sick of waiting! Disgusting service, just tell us if you can't deliver...

We've spent hundreds of pounds online with this takeaway so far this year. We were passing and decided to drop in. I placed our order at the counter only to be told that they do not accept anything other than cash. Despite our loyalty (and not a penny on us) we were refused service unless we went online. There was no exception and no consideration of our almost weekly custom. So, we wasted time and money placing a Just Eat order (which costs more) whist standing at the counter. If you're considering them, be aware that this is how Golden Wok values a loyal customer. We will never patronise them again, and I'd import you to consider their customer service.

Best chinese in Shropshire. The quality and quantity of food is outstanding.

Trovandoci ad Hampsted siamo andati in questo ristorante avendo letto indicazioni trovate da mia moglie su un blog di viaggi che ne parlava molto bene, come di una locanda che serve pasti tipici locali. Il locale da fuori si presenta in modo molto carino, in stile tipico della zona, ed é in cima ad una collinetta nel paese. Appena arrivati, abbiamo chiesto se ci fossero posti disponibili, ma la ragazza all'ingresso ci ha detto che era tutto pieno/prenotato, e che il primo tavolo si sarebbe liberato dopo 1,5h!! Mia moglie ha deciso che voleva proprio mangiare lì, quindi abbiamo detto che avremmo atteso e... immediatamente la ragazza ha detto di aver trovato un tavolo libero. 🙄 Ci fanno sedere, e ordiniamo. Il clima nel locale è soffuso e rilassante, con cameriere attente e sempre pronte. Arredamento classico inglese, la tavola è apparecchiata di tutto punto. Nella nostra sala ci sono altri 3 tavoli liberi, mi pare strano, ma magari, penso, sono prenotati e arriveranno... Prezzi molto alti: acqua 5,5£, un piatto di fish and chips 24£, e un hamburger 23£. Queste erano le opzioni del menù del giorno, ma anche le portate indicate nel menù standard costavano altrettanto se non di più. Il cibo almeno é stato molto buono. Il nostro pranzo dura circa 1h. Nel frattempo 2 ragazzi entrano, si accomodano ad un tavolo, e dopo 5 minuti se ne vanno. I 3 tavoli che entrando ho trovato liberi, sono rimasti liberi. Fossero stati prenotati, qualcuno sarebbe arrivato, considerando che abbiamo finito il pranzo alle 14.25. Magari fanno una selezione all'ingresso ipotizzando quali clienti abbiano un maggior potere di spesa.

The staff were super friendly and good with takes empty plates What was the food like? The food was amazing I recommend the chicken toast What facilities do they have? They have a lift a disabled toilet and a regular toilet How hygienic is it? It is very hygienic there is individual tongs in each dish How much does it cost? It depends how many people you book with but it is fairly priced Would I recommend? Definitely Will I come here again? ABSOLUTELY George The Traveller
