Lovely food piping hot even after a 20 minute drive back k to the hotel.

Absolutely disgusting meal didn't get 2 curry sauce as asked for food was awful extremely salty too most wen5 8n bin !

The young man who takes the orders is super kind to me my elderly mum n my toddler all ways ask how we are and the delivery driver when we order if not collected super helpful and soon say order with delivery he knows right away what home and order love the food

Can't get orders sorted correctly and seemingly unaware of how to actually cook chicken so it doesn't make the customer ill. Edit for the owner considering I can't directly reply but I was in just over an hour ago where our order was meant to consist of chikenballs duck chow mein chips and egg fried rice, we ended up getting two portions of chips one of which was so overcooked they couldn't be eaten, half the chicken balls were red and raw inside and very chewy chicken, I've also previously enquired about there whole chicken and was essentially told not to order due to " blind taste testers said it wasn't fully cooked" good job giving out half cooked chicken, Second update because the owner keeps trying to say this is a fake review but why would I call back when things are constantly messed up we've just gone elsewhere and had a much better experience

Food was 10/10 customer service was absolutely brilliant the guy who took my order was lovely and had impeccable manners and customer service. I will be ordering from here again as it’s the only Chinese takeaway in Shrewsbury I’ve found after a year of living here that’s actually nice tasty and great value for money. All round great experience and I can say I’m a very happy customer

I’ve lived in Shrewsbury just over a year and hadn’t yet found a nice Chinese takeaway until tonight. And it’s just round the corner from me. The customer service was 10/10 the man who took my order was so lovely we had a good chat about my love of seaweed haha. This will now be my go to for a cheeky takeaway. The chicken chilli and salt was absolutely to die for. So very happy all round. Brilliant value for money perfect seaweed and the best customer service. Can I just add it came within 28 minutes from ordering and that’s on a Saturday night to say I was shocked was an understatement I usually wait 1/2 hours for a Saturday takeaway and it normally comes cold with missing items where my order from this Chinese came piping hot with extra seaweed.

Great restaurant. We got there just before closing and they still were happy to serve us. The food was fresh and delicious, with very generous portions at a good price. Highly recommended.

Collected a few times very nice service, Same guy at the front always nice. The food is great, chow main is very good. I just wished they offered nutritional/Calorie Info.

Portion sizes are a little small for certain dishes such as the sweet and sour chicken (not balls). But other than that prices are reasonable and food is well cooked and tasty. Service is reasonably quick and friendly.

Great food, came within the specified delivery time and was still piping hot.

Hmm disappointing! Tuesday so normal takeaway closed!.. I’m not a chief but, I would say the cooking oil needs changing and cooking temp or time shortened! Eg; Sweet&Sour balls dark drown and hard and crunchy, prawn toast not really eatable just a couple of things been here ages but standards have gone down, won’t be returning. . tip. head to mount pleasant nr Co-op

This is our local and have never had a bad meal from there. We even started trying different meals that we wouldn't normally just because they've never failed to deliver a great, tasty and really affordable meal. 100% recommend

Pretty good food, cooked very quickly, friendly guy at the front, took my order 10 minutes before closing time and still put out great food.

Been using this Chinese for 15 years & never ever had a bad meal. Tried a few along the way never been as good, dont be put off by the exterior and interior of the building, it looks a little run down but the food is and always is absolutely spot on 👌👌

Went in to order a takeaway only to be short changed by £10 !!! When queried the young boy fiddled about under the counter and produced a £10 note which he said I gave him - impossible, as I had only three £20 notes in my wallet when I went in and paid for the food. Surprisingly an adult was not available to check the till. Cannot recommend this place. There are plenty of honest Chinese takeaways about. Disgraceful, and the food wasn’t good either - very greasy.

U will not find a better sesame seed prawn toast in this town oh n the curry r so good. Never had delivery as I live very close so I can’t comment on delivery but always very polite on the phone when I order a collection. Never had a bad meal

This is the best quality and taste Chinese Take Away all around UK, I have been to many cities and towns in UK as a salesmen, I also tried many different Chinese Take Away, their food and service are the best. Well done Mandarin Chef and keep it going.

Friendly service from the guy behind the counter and on the phone. Speedy service, delivery is usually pretty quick too. Food tastes great, far better and far less greasy than many others in the town.

I have been going here for lots of years never had a bad meal and the best banana fritters.

3 hours for delivery ruined our evening plans. Every time you call they just add more time to the delivery. Too late in the evening to call and order from somewhere else. Why continue to take orders when you cant meet the demand. Then when it arrived it had stuffed missing and was barely warm weve spoken to them 5 times throghout the night and they still tried to claim they attempted to contact us about mossing items clearly a lie. Such a shame because its normally a decent place

As always wonderful hot tasty food delivered to my door very fast service, excellent menu, and reasonable prices. I had salt and pepper king prawns, chips and plain chow mein with curry sauce. Never had any bad service or food.

Special fried rice is bland and sloppy and more veg than rice. Salt and chilli chips were cold and unseasoned. Also found a long hair in my food.

Delivery was incredible. Came approx 15-20minutes after ordering. Food tastes great, reasonably priced. Will be ordering my next chinese from here!

Best vegetarian fast food I had ever eaten. I have never seen a Chinese take-out menu to feature so many (/any) veggie options, all of which unparalleled. Vegetarian black bean chicken was unbelievably good.

Its not going to win any awards but I have never had a bad meal from here. It's in the top 40% in Shrewsbury. It's definitely BETTER than the Chinese 30 yards up the road called 'Tasty Food'.
