Good quality food when it arrived

delivery expected between 1915 and 1935. actual delivery was 2020. despite calling the restaurant twice, they were unable to confirm what was happening. When the delivery person called, despite giving them exact directions, they were unable to locate me, meaning that I had to go and meet them on the main road, which wasn't good, as have an Achilles tendon issue, which is painful for walking. Once received the food was stone cold and reheating it, made it less enjoyable, this affected quality.

I called the restaurant and they just lied.And said it had been dispatched.it dudnt arrive for another forty five minutes

25 minutes after latest delivery and I’m still waiting

The spring rolls were soggy but the rest of the food was good.

Because the delivery was so late the food had become cold and was not very enjoyable. Disappointing as usually good service and food.

Prawns were very overcooked and rubbery, sauce was very vinegary, couldn’t eat. Just ate some of the rice and chips

ridiculous how late the delivery arrived. ordered at 7pm with delivery due between 19:45 and 20:05pm. arrived after 20:35pm. tracking and update notifications were pathetic and unreliable.

The food was rather cold and was 35 minutes late. The order was marked as delivered 35 minutes before it actually was delivered. The delivery driver was incredibly apologetic and friendly, for that it's not going down to a one star.

Good food, received oneincorrect item but it was promptly replaced by the restaurant.

Buffet style cooked fresh to order inclusive price . Compact restaurant. Friendly service. Enjoyed main courses more than starters

This is the first time we have visited the new regent and were very impressed with the quality of the food and excellent, friendly staff, especially impressed with the Singapore vermicelli noodles, will be going back definitely

chicken wings were so dry dry over seasoned and clearly re heated went in the bin ,spare ribs were also dry and old ,I was a regular customer but can't say I'll order again after that

Chips have been refried few times so they were dry inside with no potato left Crispy duck was very salty Mixed curry was nice but the that rice came with it was very sticky like it was made a few days a go

Seems u have changed the oil u use , I have an allergy n have always been able to eat your chines but not tonight . Only saying as usually it’s perfect for me , maybe cheap veg oil …

This is the worst Chinese Takeaway I have ever had this evening. The beef was disgusting in my meal not suitable for human consumption £13.00 for a meal for 1 I absolutely think it was not worth it the foods has been binned I completely want refund Joanne

Waited over an hour for food. The food was hot which was good. chicken chow mein had a funny taste and egg fried rice was a little dry no pea/onion in it like other restaurants, therefore quite bland and tasteless. Will think twice about placing another order.

Its a while since using NW and I wasn't disappointed. Our food arrived 10 minutes early, was piping hot, very well cooked, very tasty and thoroughly enjoyed by 5 hungry people. Will recommend and will be using again.

Love the food and the service! What a wonderful family. Hot tip.. ordered sweet and sour chicken balls for the first time and the sauce was amazing. There were 30-40% less chicken then other places but if they increase this as usual better than everywhere. Thanks for being amazing

algae in the mix Plater was not completely ready

For some reason the fried rice no matter what you have with it chick/ beef etc the rice is wet which it shouldn’t be and the pancake rolls are dripping in grease apart from that nice food

The food was genuinely awful. I am very disappointed, the beef was stringy and unflavoured and the udon noodles were overcooked. The duck spring rolls (my favourite dish) were soggy and also lacking in flavour. The sweet chilli chicken wasn’t spicy as advertised and had an off putting smell. And the chicken was lukewarm at best. Most likely not be returning.

thought I'd try this place again. I got the set mean for 1 it was more than enough food at a good price. beef in black bean sauce I would of liked a bit more heat but it was delicious the beef melted in my mouth, probably the best beef I've ever had from a Chinese. sweet and sour balls were quite greasy but on the whole thumbs up

Dumplings were lovely but prawns were overcooked, chewy and dry. Prawns went in the bin, shame because I always have a lovely meal usually

Food was booked for 730 so I could finish bedtime with the children, although it arrived very early which caused a lot of disruption and ruined the experience. Portions weren't great, and it wasn't cheap either

Worst Chinese we have ever had We ordered a meal for friends that had come to visit, mixture of items ( £60 ) Fried rice, Chicken fried rice was so old it was lumpy and sticky - nearly a pudding - H/sp Chowmein - H/f with green pepper, blackbean sauce - all the same item with a different ( weak sauce poured over them ) Chicken Curry - save your money and buy a - Bisto chip shop curry and make your own

food wasn't great. bland, not flavourful. special fried rice was soggy. was excited to try the happy family meal was really disappointing compared to the menu description. all the dumplings were soggy or gewey. not good at all.

really sweet guy dillivared it. I forgot to mention I had a broken door bell so he knocked on the window and then apologised for knocking on the window.

Second time order wrong in 2 weeks. Last week we ordered Lemon Chicken, when IT arrived it came without lemon sauce. No response and a lack of interest in correcting this. This week I ordered Chicken with broccol, instead of chicken I was sent beef.

This was our first time trying the New Regent, we had heard lots of good reports, and I can honestly say the food and service was excellent, Definitely recommend this restaurant. 10/10

The chow mein and rice dishes was nice but the pork and king prawn balls not good just a blob of batter, nothing inside basically

I have to say I love everything about this place, staff are always lovely. The food is amazing 99.9 % of the time. The all you can eat menu is to die for, always fresh. Highly recommend them to anyone wanting a nice meal out

Possibly the worst Chinese of all time. Gone off ribs… or old ribs, overdone dry prawns and ho fan with more bean sprouts than noodles! 4 prawns in the entire ho fan…. Never again even though I was warned that they were bad

The meal turned up very early compared to the estimated time, over 30 minutes before expected, so very fast. Driver was friendly too. Food was hot and very nice, I had requested no onions due to food intolerance and this was adhered to. My daughter was disappointed in her spicy Szechuan chicken as it wasn't spicy to her but the meal overall was nice. It's what I was expecting :-)

Crab meat & Sweetcorn Soup was really nice very smooth Roast pork yum sung was not nice it seem to have been liquidiced not chopped also did not taste that much of pork (very salty) we also had pancake with it they were all stuck together ( binned them )

Chicken balls were missing but they called ahead and resent the driver along with an extra bottle of coke - thank you!!!
