The food was really poor, chilli and garlic chicken ball were like cheap micro nuggets , my beef with mushroom come without the beef , the ribs tasted processed and the chow mein tasted like instant noodles, really disappointed.

Been using this as the go-to chinese takeaway for well over 10+ years. Only have a few takeaways per year but always consistent and cannot fault the food.

I’ve been using this place for years, always good value and excellent food. Best in Studley and surrounding areas. 10/10

No worth even 1 star mess up my order and wouldn’t change it tried to say I lied about that I ordered 20 for nothing

Worse bbq ribs and pancake roll ever ! Dripping in fat and pancake roll mushy. Think they’ve changed hands as the food isn’t half as good as it use to be. Expensive too!

Chilli salted chips always taste like mouldy bread. What do you do to them?

Disappointed, been having take aways for long, long time but quality and quantity is very reduced. They delivered to the address connected to my phone not the address given. Then said that they had to speak to the shop when told their delivery was wrong! I was then charged a £1 extra for luke warm food.

Good quality food at good affordable prices. The service is always pleasant too. As for the atmosphere...well it's a takeaway and it's exactly what you would expect.

Fantastic food as always we travel from Bidford on avon for a takeout here and we have never had a bad meal

I felt super let down by the oriental express they tried to overcharge me by £2.40 because it was coming towards the end of the night I believe that they. Didn't think. I would question the price the screen said 1 price yet the lady charged me a different price. They have lost my costom now be careful to any further customers.

Real shame. Used to be the best Chinese around however they are extorting the delivery charge. I live 4.2 miles from their location and they are charging an extra £5 for delivery.

Ordered a delivery on the recommendation of a friend, well this restaurant must really have been having an off night. Food arrived cold , a container had leaked. The whole order was covered in cold grease. Every dish including the chips and noodles was vile. One to avoid. Driver delivering was miserable. Only bonus it arrived in an hour as stated but I think it was the last drop. Never again.

Delivery time was good yet the food was average, the spare ribs were very fatty and the special chow mein could have been better. Also for just over £18 for the order I expected prawn crackers as a thank you from the place, maybe my thank you is I'll go somewhere else next time.

Last time I got served. It was Lined With SMG's, couldn't Sleep All Night!!! Felt real I'll. Before that asked for 3 fortune Cookies. They went to give me a bag full, how strange. I refused the bag full. They had 5 Star's from me. But how I think otherwise.

We have had a lovely meal . Delivery was on time . The driver was extremely pleasant and found our house easily , Food was fresh and didn’t taste too salty . An overall good experience .we will be using Oriental Express again

We have been ordering from this place for more than 3 years, never ever we have been disappointed. Quality is always good, delivery is fast and the drivers are always kind. The food is fresh and there is a lot of it. Never too salty, too saucy or too dry. Always right My favourite is the ribs dishes, always plenty of meat and CARTILAGE. Yes I love the stuff. Meat always falls off the bone. Best chow main I’ve ever had, when I order prawns I don’t only get a couple in, there’s always loads. My partner is a bit more plain, chicken fried rice but he’s always happy with it. Always a treat to have takeaway from oriental express. We have tried couple of others in studley (due to this one being busy or closed), not impressed at all!

TAKE AWAY We have ordered food a few times to be delivered recently and I have to say we have really enjoyed it. The chicken (and mushroom curry) and the special chow mein are our favourites. Prefer the big spring rolls rather than the small ones. I've seen one or two not very good reviews but we haven'.t experienced this

Just had first delivery from Oriental Express, very happy with it. Food appeared less than e0mins after ordering. Food consisted of duck with spring onion and ginger, crispy chilli beef and mushroom rice. Very good food and price not too bad as well. Will use them again.

We live in the village and usually buy elsewhere but decided to give the a orient a go, waste of time, the rice in the Singapore fried rice was totally over cooked and tasteless, the chips were definitely yesterday’s, just refuted, bone dry and disgusting, I mean really chips are cheap and should be thrown if not sold, the chow mein was just about passable, will not be using again, lesson learnt, stick with what you know!

I've lived in 5 different towns and had a Chinese from every single one in each place. Our order tonight from Oriental Express was hands down the best ever. We had beef curry each, rice and chips between us with some chicken balls. Each item was hot, tasty and fresh. We live 18 miles away and only ordered here because we were passing Studley coming home from work. I will be making special trips in future just for this because the food was incredible.

The staff are pleasant, food tastes really good, decent amount given and fresh as always.

Have always enjoyed our meals from here and delivery is normally within the hour even at busy times. The only times we don't order from here are when they are closed. Food portions are generous for the prices charged and their meal deals present the best value if you like what they offer. From experience I see little difference between their 2 persons and 3 persons options and you are better off getting a 2 person meal deal with an extra main from the menu if you need to feed more people. On last inspection they were rated a five for hygiene, an achievement that a lot of other local food establishments can not claim. EDIT: Attached the most recent February 2020 menu as some prices have changed. I have also cropped the images so they are easier to read on a phone screen.

The best crispy shredded chicken amazing

This was the best Chinese in the area but has dropped in quality quite sharply over recent months. Not sure if there are different owners or different chefs (or both) but the food we had delivered this week was very poor. Crispy shredded beef was soggy and lacking in flavour. My wife's meal (after they re-delivered what we'd actually ordered) she described as awful. Couple this with price increases and a delivery charge even for residents in the village, and I'm afraid we won't be using them again. Disappointed.

Had a lovely takeaway from here quick friendly service at a good price. You need a big appetite the portions are huge, highly recommended.

I have been using this chinese for years, always been fantastic food. Unfortunately I had a soecial chow main on friday and the beef in it tasted and smelt off. I called them up to let them know, I wasnt expecting free food but the only comment I got was oh ok thank you for letting us know, bye bye. No sorry or anything. If I had eaten it I could have been ill. Wont be using them again and it's a shame because normally it's great. They need to take care of regular customers and at least acknowledge the problem

I've been ordering from here for at least 10 years. Only once have we ever had a meal that wasn't exceptional. We've ordered for two people and also for large groups and every time the food arrives promptly, hot and fresh tasting. Tonight we had one meal that was incorrect. After making a phone call this matter was resolved with the correct order being delivered quickly. Can't fault the food or service. Will continue to highly recommend to others.

Food was terrible, found a hair in our food, expected to be treated with respect when calling the restaurant only to be met with laughter, doubt and generally poor customer service. Then after food was redelivered the worker shouted down the phone demanding a delivery fee despite it being a complaint due to their fault and the original order was for collection.

We always use oriental express never had a bad meal and always get good service. Only Chinese takeaway in Redditch or Studley we will use.

It used to be good value for money but now very very average. Charged two different prices for the same food in the space of a week. Always busy though, so make your mind up.

My favourite place to come on a Friday! Receptionist is lovely and the food is always on point! Amazing!

We use the Oriental Express in Studley on a regular basis. The food is good and always delivered within an hour. The service if calling in to pick up your meal is also quick.I am vegetarian and find their menu suits me and my non vegetarian partner.

Good take away, the crispy aromatic duck was so goood!! Quick service 30 minutes. Food was well presented and felt clean. Would recommend and will be back!

Just had meal delivered,excellent delivery time,chips nice and hot,curry sauce hot,main meal,special satay chow me in,cold and some of the noodles uncooked,very dissapointed

Food is great and plenty of it. They do the best Crispy fried Chilli beef in the area and their Pineapple fritters are fantastic.

Never had a bad takeaway from here. Our food arrived and it was piping hot. All dishes are a good size and the best quality ingredients used. Superb takeaway.

Delicious food. We ordered for collection and only had a 10 minute wait. I practically had to leave the house as soon as we phoned. The portions are generous and well priced compared to some takeaways.

Pedimos pollo chow mien, huevo frito, salsa de curry arroz y pollo en salsa Hoi An pecado - casi una orden estándar, nada especial. . . . Tuve una bocanada del pollo en salsa hoi plato y era pecado repugnante, no sabe como salsa Hoi An pecado! Chow mein noodles en carencias en el sabor y el pollo estaba sosa. El arroz estaba recocido. Me sorprendió que les llevó a producir nuestra Orden en 5 minutos desde el momento en que entré y realizó el pedido! Echamos todo esto comida lejos y yo fuimos a nuestra casa de curry local para conseguir algo de comida decente. Qué desperdicio de dinero!

Hemos estado utilizando Oriental Express por muchos años, pero después de su excelente servicio anoche pensaba que iba a comentar. Una gran orden sonó como estábamos celebrando a mis hijos de 18, la comida llegó menos la lechuga para el yuk sung, que no era un problema, 5 minutos más tarde un hombre encantador apareció con una bolsa de lechuga que fue totalmente inesperado y lleno de disculpa, un gran servicio al cliente. La comida es excelente, fresca siempre caliente, excelente servicio al cliente, los conductores de entrega amable agradable. No vayas a ningún otro sitio. Gracias a todos los que trabajan allí.

La primera vez que pedimos desde aquí. Utilice siempre Cantonesa Chef pero como no entregar y trabajaba hasta las 11 de la noche decidimos probarlo. Puedo decir que nunca volveré a CC la comida era excepcional. Comida taaaaan mucho, caliente y de gran calidad. Estamos muy exigente con la comida para llevar, pero estaba impecable.

He utilizado este sitio para un par de años y nunca he estado me decepcionó. Siempre el personal muy agradable y el servicio. Parque detrás Tesco Express y caminar por el camino. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Hemos estado allí muchas veces y siempre he tenido una excelente comida. La cocina está limpio, la comida es caliente y fresco, y el personal es amable, bien merece una visita si estás en la zona y disfrutar de comida china!

I've been to a lot of Chinese take aways in my life, and I mean a lot. Having recently moved to Studley I had to fear of having to find a new local Chinese, and the question of whether it would be as good as the old ones... and it was, it was better! I love this place, the food is by far the best I've had, the Cantonese sweet and sour chicken is amazing, not greasy and doesn't leave you feeling bloated. I've twice been back to Birmingham to see friends and had Chinese food over that way and it was nothing compared to here. 5 star food, 5 star hygiene rating! Highly recommended.
