The best restaurants serving Chinese food in West Midlands

Never ever will go to this place again! The man who works there was incredibly rude to us. He was so inpatient while we tried ordering, then he was constantly watching us and telling us what to do at the table. At one point we got up to leave it he was so bad. My wife told him how bad he has been acting, I too had to have a talk with him. I ordered and extra tea cup to share tea with my son, he showed up with a full tea order in order the charge us more. I told him we want only a tea cup to which he replied he will have to order tea, otherwise we will not get the empty tea cup. So we got up to leave amd then he finally gave the cup reluctantly. This man ruined our calibration of mothers day. Shame on him. He should not be serving and working with people, period. He is ruining the business there, big time.

Customer service was amazing. Food wasn’t good at all, far better Chinese food in harborne. Food was bland and tasteless, and we found a hair inside our dumpling. This was immediately replace by staff.

In a nutshell, 6 of us dined. We have eaten here off and on for over 20 years, still younger than the decor. 5 out of 6 had a shared starter at 7 pound something per head. 1 each of everything, sound, but it included seaweed which would have only done us a tablespoon each. We fed that back and they returned with "yes the chef said she hadn't put enough on". They cleared off then 10 minutes later returned with a bowl of seaweed. No. Mains were lovely, couldn't fault it. Come to the bill, (250 quid with drinks) bearing in mind they have coughed to the fact they short changed us on the starter, and we get charged £2.90 for what we thought were a tiny bowl of complimentary prawn crackers. We paid. On the way out I pointed out that we get a massive bag of prawn crackers with a thirty quid takeaway...owners reply.."you get free prawn crackers with a take away here". Moral of the story, order a good food take out. 🤷‍♀️

The food was excellent, good choices and served promptly & my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her birthday meal with the other guests. Thank you

Hands down the best Chinese takeaway that I have tried in the west Mids, fresh flavours and fast service.

Beautiful food from Wing Lee. Rice spot on and big portions. Couldn't fault. Not synthetic sauces like some Chinese. Really impressed and will be my takeaway place of choice from now on. Easy ordering and very friendly. Can't fault.

Yet again IV had free meal if this restaurant as I complained last week out Burnt my chips prawn crackers too so the lady this place said she didn't me free meal tonight guess what the prawn crackers yet again burnt like they were yesterday prawn crackers ? IV took photos off them too so now they have just lost good customer indeed ?

The owner was polite and we enjoyed the food so will definitely be using it again.

If you read the reviews, I've read many of them. Some are 1 ⭐ and 2 ⭐. I honestly believe these people are doing false reviews, to try and get the place into trouble council wise. Trust me. There false and fake .. Taste Of China are legendary. Food is always piping hot, and fresh. Absolutely gorgeous Chinese takeaway

First time I've been here for food but it was absolutely spot on . Tasty, well cooked and well presented prompt service . I will definitely go again

OMG chino increíble, la mejor comida en mucho tiempo, el personal muy amable, la comida era increíble, mi necesidad local de elevar su juego! Si te gusta el chino y estás en Stratford upon Avon, el Sr. Chan es sin duda vale la pena una visita, sin duda recomendaría y volveré la próxima vez que estemos en la zona.

Taste sensation!! Staying nearby for a couple of nights & wanted to find a Chinese restaurant. San's does not disappoint in any way- super friendly, smart but relaxed atmosphere & A-MAZING food! The crab claws, soft shell crab & scallops in garlic & chilli are to die for. Everything is super fresh & just a flavour bomb!! I'm gluten intolerant & this was not a problem- went through my order & made adjustments for me. Obviously a good takeaway too as plenty of customers turning up to collect. 10/10 Thank you!!
