The best restaurants serving Chinese food in West Midlands

Been going there the last 26 years, still go there on my weelchair, lovely people that bring the food for me, by the way never had a bad meal 😋

I came to write a 5* review and was very surprised to read some of the 'recent' ones with low ratings....especially one by "Amar" who describes a restaurant experience which isn't this place!! We have had several takeaways from here and every one has been great. I usually collect on the way back from work so when I ordered our last one on sunday night online I accidentally left "collection" on the online order. When I called after an hour and we still hadn't received it, the girl explained what had happened and it needed collecting, i was gutted driving up there imagining what the food would be like after this time had passed. We had just got back from holiday and were so looking forward to it! When I got to Rice bowl, the lady in the kitchen popped her head out and offered to redo the chips and also the crispy beef because they would be poor quality now. I really appreciated half our takeaway being redone and still offered to do more, apologised that obviously they could not reheat rice for us etc. They completely redid the 2 dishes mentioned for free although it was MY mistake and I thought that was extremely kind and i really appreciate it. Definitely the best Chinese takeaway in Cov! I'm from kent and well traveled, apparently Chinese takeaway really varies across the UK and we have struggled finding a good one now we're settled here. This is IT!! :D

I was there with my family. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. This was my first visit but it will not be the last. The food was really good. The soup came with two different meat, chicken and shrimp but I believe the base of the soup was the same. I enjoyed the soup but chicken was a bit dry. I ordered noodles and two orders coconut rice one egg fried rice both very tasty. The main course ordered , duck, 2 prawns and one chicken dishes but I later realised mum’s dish was chicken as well as mine but suppose to be a prawn dish. I asked, the staff to change mum’s dish. I wasn’t happy with my chicken dish but I had it, duck and prawn dishes were very tasty. We didn’t have any desserts but beer was pretty good be honest. We were full and loved the taste. Thank you Art of Siam I’ll be back !!!

My third experience of this lovely restaurant. The food is hot, tasty and plentiful. The service is quick and friendly. Our server was smiley and chatty. Excellent.

After using this Chinese many times and the food always being excellent- I ordered yesterday I collected my food and it was awful - salty / bland / definitely tasteless - I will be looking for a new take away - not sure if they have changed kitchen staff

Excellent service quick smooth to our tables ordered drinks good stuff I had Beef curry boiled rice on arrival a good amount of curry / rice the flavour was great the beef tender and the onions were done just right in the curry asked for extra spicy which I got overall having eaten beef Curry for a long time I’d say it’s a good dish and happy to return to eat again

Nice take away, food was nice and good portion size only disappointment was that I payed £2.50 extra for duck to be added to my chop suey and didn't receive it.

The owner was polite and we enjoyed the food so will definitely be using it again.

Ordered via Uber. The food was absolutely disgusting no one ate any of it. Wasted a lot of money

Second visit a week ago...totally disorganised..too many people not enough staff!.so the wait was quite long ...my vegetarian main had little to no taste and partners chicken curry was like chicken soup.....starters were ok....but would not recommend...there are alot better Chinese restaurants...I would not recommend.

Updating review after 4 years to say I love this place and the people are so nice and hardworking. The consistent high standard of their food is really impressive. Eat in or take out, you can't go wrong. Best Chinese I've had in a long time. Highly recommend the chicken curry. I've had takeaway from here twice now and it's been piping hot, fragrant and flavoursome with a real home-made feel, generously portioned and darn tasty overall.

10/10 food. will always recommend. Had the set menu for 3 people and i would highly recommend it to everyone as its a good value for money and we all left full and satisfied.

We've just had a lovely meal in The Arch. They atmosphere was very friendly and warm. Although busy their was an excellent flow and the service was very warm and the staff were brilliant, so helpful nothing was too much trouble As for the food it was excellent! It was cooked beautifully and the duck just melted in your mouth Will definitely be returning. Good value for money too.
