Living in Whitwick, we use Finchfield Garden as our go-to Chinese takeaway every few weeks . They only take CASH. No cards, but there is a cash point over the road if you do forget your cash. There is usually ample parking outside the shop. I have seen a delivery service from there but I’m not sure they are still offering this, so you’d need to check. They don’t seem to be on Just Eat either. Like many folk, we usually order the same dishes every time but do occasionally try something different. Our favourites are the Sechuan chicken and the Ho-yo Gai-Po. The food is always good and piping hot. There seems to be only one person talking the orders and they do get very busy on a weekend so if you’re trying to phone your order, you need to be patient. Great food, fast service. Reasonably priced and value for money.

Still the best Chinese food in the area. Have used many times and the standard is always good and the premises always clean.

If food quality is your priority then Finchfield Garden is the place to go. Definitely the best Chinese takeaway in the area and the most consistently good. This time, I had duck with orange sauce and a plain chow mein - delicious! My wife had lemon chicken and fried rice and she loved it. The prawn crackers are also good. I see a review complaining that they are cash only. With a cash machine right opposite I can’t see this as an issue. I will continue to patronise them as long as they produce high quality food.

What can I say I can see why you have 4.5 rating food is great and tasty and fresh curry is really nice with a little kick the meats are flavour full and sweet and sour sauce is epic definitely will be ordering from here again.

Please open back up soon, after Christmas. I used to believe mings was best in Wolverhampton, but not a patch on this place, top notch food, good value for money and staff are great. I'm a convert!

Good quality take away, bit difficult to get through on the phone sometimes as it is often ignored, all be it they are very busy though.

Have used this Chinese Takeaway on a number of occasions. I've never been disappointed. The food is good from an extensive menu and reasonably priced. The service was excellent and the staff very helpful. Will visit again the next time I visit the area.

Ordered large special meat curry, delivered a small meat curry, when we rang female staff refused to acknowledge our order. No customer recovery or service, although we paid for a large curry. Didn't eat the food ordered after their rude reply.

Went in to collect an order only to realise I had been sent to the wrong place by my friend. The lady behind the till was very rude when she realised I hadnt ordered with them and practially shoo'd me away. The way she spoke to me made me feel really embarassed and belittled in front of the customers. The whole time she wasn't wearing her mask over her mouth either despite there not being any plexiglass between us. Just because I'm not a paying customer does not mean you can treat me like that. I may have ordered here in the future but certainly not after how I was spoke to.

Food is cooked to a high standard and delivery is always quick - very friendly service from the staff and would order more often if I didn’t have to watch my weight. Well, that’s what Karen says - she won’t let me see my kids.

The menu and choice is extensive - The service is usually fast However, they still don't accept Card payments - cash only - which is very inconvenient these days. The food is fab though!

We have been using Finchfield Gardens ever since it opened , 15 years or more & have never had anything less than excellent, both service & food. We have tried other Chinese take out in the area, but they have been so bad we threw it away . If you want tasty Chinese food with hefty portions & full of fresh veg try this place - it's great.

The takeaway food here is hit and miss, it's odd that on certain visits that the dishes are of great quality - then other occasions the takeaway let's itself down diabolically! One example are the spare ribs, the ribs sometimes are very tasty and fall away from the bone, the next order they are dehydrated, leathery and bland. The staff are polite and assertive, however unrealistically inflexible regarding slight requests to menu dish/changes. It's a pity that this takeaway isn't consistent on a regular basis, otherwise I wouldn't hesitate using the establishment more often.

never again the spring roll i ordered was full of grease chips stone cold the curry was floating in grease waste of money as the food was all put in the bin

We had a take away on Saturday evening from here for the first time. I had a veggie satay and my husband had a chicken curry. Both were very tasty. My husband commented that the chicken was nice quality and there was lots of it We will definitely go back, it was reasonably priced too.

Ignore the neg review, must be written by a competitor . We have used Finchfield Gardens for years. Always tasty, hot, best Chinese takeaway in Wolverhampton . Highly recommended.

As a family we've been coming here for years. Have had many items/meals on the menu. The food is excellent, great value and friendly staff. It's the best chinese takeaway in the area! I would definitely recommend!!

I have never posted a negative review before, but feel I simply have to so other customers can make their own choice. My son and I decided to share a takeaway from this place having heard favourable reports. However the food was tasteless, bland, unappetising and downright unpleasant. I would not feed it to my dog, To compound a disappointing night, the shop refused to either refund the £16 we had spent, or offer a replacement meal (not that we would have taken it after our experience). When we complained the woman was aggressive and in no mood to compromise at all. Needless to say we will never go there again. There are lots of good Chinese takeaways in Wolverhampton and I wish I had stuck to my regular venue.
