I have been using Chef China for many years for my Chinese takeaway and home delivery. The staff are always very friendly on the phone, but very busy. Also it’s delivered normally in about an hour, pretty good for a small village 10 miles from Salisbury. Our normal order is Beef and Green Pepper, S&S mixed veg plus egg fried rice and prawn crackers. The food is always very well cooked, generous portions and hot. I have never had a bad meal it’s always 5* One last tip, order direct from Chef China they have there own delivery service.

We order a takeaway for the whole family, having read the latest reviews which were somewhat negative. Having decided to give it a try, our first time of ordering, we have to say that the food was absolutely delicious, every dish was beautifully cooked and very tasty. Also very generous portions of each. We had a splendid evening, made special by your lovely food. Thank you. We will be back.

**Great Wall Restaurant, Salisbury** Our usual Chinese takeaway was closed due to a fire, so after hearing great things about The Great Wall in Salisbury from friends, we decided to give it a try. Although we pre-ordered our food, we still had to wait 20 minutes for it to be ready. When we got home, the food was reasonably hot. At first glance, it looked appealing and smelled decent. However, as we started serving it, we noticed how greasy everything was. We initially brushed this off, thinking that Chinese food can sometimes be a bit greasy. Unfortunately, after just a few bites of my Chicken Chow Mein, I had to stop eating because it was overwhelmingly greasy and ended up throwing it away. My partner had the Singapore special fried rice with curry sauce, and he also had to stop eating and discard his meal. Both of us are now feeling queasy from the excess fat and saltiness in our dishes. It’s a shame because the reviews suggest that this is a good restaurant and it was quite busy. We also had positive recommendations from friends. However, I suppose it depends on what you’re accustomed to. Our regular Chinese food is never this greasy, and we've never ended up throwing it away. Unless you're used to this level of greasiness, I would recommend finding another place to eat.

At last a decent Chinese! I live in Corsham and both local Chinese's in my view have gone to the dogs. Looked farther afield. Ordered Singapore vermicelli and Beef, black bean and mushroom. All excellent, will definitely be using this one in the future, fast and pleasant service as well!

I used to have the same curry all the time but decided to be adventurous and try other items in the menu. But I do love the taste of their curry sauces, satay chicken skewers, and beef with beansprouts bedded on a mushroom fried rice. I won't use any other Chinese takeaways in Devizes, if they are shut I go without. Staff are really friendly the food is hot and portions are generous.

Always had lovely food here and usually prompt delivery but the last time we ordered I had to ring when it was an hour late and they had made a mistake but tonight again the food was nearly an hour late was cold and we had to reheat. Very disappointing and not up to to their usual standard
