The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Mole Valley South East

Take away delivered twice recently and we can recommend this take away. Good classic Chinese food delivered hot and freshly cooked.

I've eaten a lot of Chinese food in my life. From Soho to Shanghai to Singapore. I've had the simple, the fancy, the obscure and the extraordinary. Some good, some bad and some unpronounceable. Chifan fits exactly where it should in the spectrum. It's tasty, it's reliable and the staff are lovely. I'd happily order in here anytime. Ask them what you want and they will do their best to help. Ask for wine and they'll produce a surprisingly good wine - list. In short, this is a restaurant that does exactly as it should. The owner, Jessica, should be proud of what she has achieved. The people of Dorking are lucky to have her.

Unfortunately the food,atmosphere and service has gone down hill. The restaurant was also freezing and I had to keep my coat on all night. The restaurant was almost empty apart from one other table but the service was still slow and not very professional, e.g. when we ordered another coke they just handed us a can!! The young girl who was serving didn't break a smile all evening,she definitely needed some training!

Went for new year's eve had 3 courses all served hot and no wait between orders. Each dish was so tasty. Highly recommend a visit The staff were so friendly and helpful Thank you

Nipped in for lunch on a blustery Monday afternoon. Restaurant wasn’t open - although they certainly offered to open it just for us (2 people) but takeaway was perfect for us. They set us up with some jasmine tea and a heater while we waited. I’d ordered some of their amazing dim sum so knew it would take a while. Great service- thank you so much. And the food was perfection as ever.

Rude woman, doesn't listen and talks over you , wrong order and waited forever with no apology or refund, food was bland and cold , food went into the bin , terrible experience from start to end ... !!!

Ordered from here on Monday as our regular Chinese takeaway "The Golden Palace" on Ranmore Road was closed. Unfortunately Chifan Chinese isn't value for money in anyway shape or form. Save your hard earnt money and go elsewhere.

Gave us the wrong food so we have to go back 15 mins away to get the rest of our order whilst the rest of our food gets cold. Customer service was appalling and they said we could take it back if we hadn’t opened the food so they’d give it to someone else!! 😳 She was rude and laughed down the phone too!

Just got a special chow mein No flavour whatsoever and the prawn had gone bad. Very disgusting Went straight into the bin

Utterly disappointing, if you’re expecting good service do NOT eat here!!!!! Our delivery never arrived and when we called up and politely asked how long it would be (after an hour) we were told by an extremely rude lady on the phone “you said collection not delivery, what do you want us to do” (we made it clear on the phone we wanted delivery). No apology was given, she enjoyed bickering with my other half telling him he was in the wrong. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

An unusual menu with spinach noodles and pumpkin, things I've not seen in Chinese takeaways. Not everything was available, which makes me think there was a lot of fresh items, there's loads of choices and the girl behind the counter was excellent at describing them. This is the first time in years that my wife has said that she's enjoyed a Chinese meal, so we will be back.

Unfortunately the Food was terrible Pancake rolls where full of grease I ordered an item and was sent the wrong thing , then although I never have before and they have always sent the right item when I phoned to complain, was told to order with the Chinese item on the menu , no apology or offer of correction The rice had gristle and soggy skin in it And the curry sauce had a burned flavour Only one dish was ok We have used this shop for years But won’t for a very long time , if ever again A real disappointment

They almost killed me , it clearly says no chilli yet they decided to Put chilli in the food which could’ve led to me having a huge asthma attack as I’m massively allergic to chilli. All they could offer was a sorry which is disgusting when it Could’ve been more dangerous should I not have been awake and seen the food. The severity of this is absolutely huge and I will be writing to the food standard agencies to ensure the restaurant is bought in front of the agency. as It could’ve been a lot worse. to offer an apology with no sort of compensation is absolutely shocking For the importance of the issue
