Amazing food, best Chinese takeaway in the area, you will not be disappointed!

1st time at the Bejin Palace ashstead and we really enjoyed it , food was lovely and staff very friendly and helpful 👍👍👍👍👍

So for these prices, I've eaten in top class luxury Chinese restaurants in my area. So I wasn't that impressed but I couldn't find anything else similar in the area, so I suppose they are the best simply because I couldn't find another Chinese restaurant in the area!

The food at this place was AHHMAZINGGGG, Its not a huge restaurant but definitely packs a full flavoured punch!!! Im not a big fan of chinese food, but this really converted me, all the food dishes we tried were beautiful, I was hesitant to try the food at 1st but once I started, I couldn't stop!!! So flavourful and delicious and yummy and tantalising and all the other adjectives for tasty, I also noticed while seated, there were NON-STOP people coming in and out collecting their take-away, so its not just me who thinks this highly of this restaurants food, if you are in or around Ashtead, please make a trip, you wont regret it!!!

Best Chinese food I have had for a long time! Fresh ingredients, homemade taste, excellent service!

The eat as much as you like buffet is ok. Average standard westernised "chinese" food. More choice on a la carte menu but quality no better & you pay more. 1 server, sometimes two if lucky. Good for a stuff your face fried food binge as "authentic" Chinese eat in restaurants hard to find in the area.

So, tried the Bejing Palace for first time in 12 years with my partner, and it was as good as it was 12 years ago. Great service and great food. Booking is advisable as it is a small restaurant.

This was the best Chinese food I have had in a very long time, the dim sum, seaweed and half duck in particular were excellent.

Had lunch as part of a group. Absolutely delicious meal and great service. Our waitress was amazingly cheerful and efficient at dealing with the many requests and even managed to squeeze in cleaning the windows at the same time! If you want a really good Chinese, this is the place.

Always fresh food and always friendly people

Great food, friendly restaurant atmosphere and very consistent quality. We have been eating at Beijing Palace for 15 years and their food is always lovely. Is definitely the most consistently tasty Chinese food in Ashtead and Epsom, Highly recommend the crispy chilli beef, sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong Style and the crispy shredded chicken!

Went in last Sunday lunchtime for all you can eat menu ,only to find that the menu was very small ,starter came very dry had to ask fir a dip to make it edible, duck also very dry hoyin sauce was so thick you couldn't get it off the spoon ,main meals very bland ,they even charged me an extra £3.80 for extra prawn crackers ,up you game bejing palace

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Just popped in with my daughter to grab a takeaway, owners were very friendly. got home to have the best Chinese I we've had in a long time. We choice special fried rice, sweet and sour Chinese Hong Kong style chefs special ribs and chicken chow mein. Packed with Flavour and smell great. 5 *

We went to this Chinese based on their many good reviews and we were not disappointed. The food was so nice. If you like mushrooms the salt and pepper mushroom starter was amazing. We got a selection of different dishes and all were so yummy. Very good service too. Great spot.

This was our first return to this great restaurant post covid and we were delighted to find it was still as lovely as ever. Great food and excellent service.

The food and service here are consistently good and the staff are really friendly. We came in a large, mixed group of teenagers and adults for a birthday meal and the staff handled our chaotic ordering brilliantly. Half of us got the all-you-can-eat offer, which was really good value, and the other half ordered from the menu.

The food is great, but and this is a big but, the wait for take away is terrible. I phoned at 6pm and requested for 7pm, they asked me to come at 7:10pm and assured me it would be ready. However, and not for the first time, the food wasn’t ready and we eventually waited another half an hour before our food arrived - which was a total waste of time and we had 8 guests hungrily waiting at home. A real disappointment.

Despite some great reviews for food, this place looks shabby and the awning is very grubby. This does not inspire confidence or look welcoming so we would not want to dine there. It also lets Ashtead high street down.

Really friendly staff and great food make this a lovely place to go for a Chinese meal. The all you can eat is great value and despite not going over the top I’ve never left hungry. The crispy chilli beef is as it should be really crispy with a tangy sauce. The duck and pancakes is a delight and the hoisin sauce is thick and not watered down as in some places I’ve been too. I’ve been many times on the all you can eat (ayce) set price and a couple of times on days when the ayce was not available and there wasn’t a huge difference in price. Will keep coming back.

My last review was not complimentary after a bad experience at this restaurant. However, my daughter and I tried it again, since the previous experience was goid and we felt it was worth another try. This time it was good again. Service was polite and food tasted good as it always does . So top marks again. Keep it up.

Lovely food, very friendly owner and her sister which were very accommodating and welcoming to us and our son. We use to come here prior to Covid regularly so glad it’s the same owner. Highly recommended

This is an incredible place. Friendly service and excellent food. Nothing too much trouble.

Ate in this restaurant, and it was not a nice experience. Waitress was very rude and seemed to have a grudging attitude to her customers. She also over charged us. Result - I shall not eat at the restaurant again, I shall check prices when I order, and, if she attempts to over charge again, I shall kick up a stink in the restaurant.

The last time me and my daughter had a takeaway from this restaurant, the food was good and the older lady was only too pleased to serve us. This time , we ate in, and it was not a nice experience. The food was up to its usual standard, very good, but the younger lady serving us was blatantly rude. She also over charged us. She seems to have a grudge against the customers of Ashtead in the misguided belief we are all well off. My tip - take down the prices as you order and check your bill And, preferably, DON'T eat in!

Very friendly sisters run this place. The food is consistently good. I rate this as one of the best chinese restaurants I have been to.

The best Chinese I have had in a long time. Enjoyed every morsel of it. But may I suggest they get an extra pair of hands to help. Poor lady there was left to do it all bar the cooking. Tip: if having takeaway, ring your order through first. They are very busy.

We'd passed this countless times but never dined there. Feeling like a Chinese meal, we decided to give it a go. Albeit it was a Tuesday evening, it was very busy. nevertheless we were welcomed in and had attentive service from the hardworking staff. The old joke about Chinese meals was that they might be good but not filling so one might have a bag of chips on the way home. However my starter, salt and pepper duck, was generous in quantity as well as very tasty. We ordered three main courses plus a noodle dish. All were good and we ended up feeling full - so no bag of chips on the way home! We enjoyed our visit. I would say that this was a pleasant dining experience without being in any way exceptional. I give eight marks out of ten.

This is a friendly restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, where all guests are remembered, and return regularly. The food is scrumptious, with a good choice of different flavours, all served with a smile. We have been regular visitors for celebration meals and the food is always delightful!!

Guys. Seriously. If you're from Epsom/Ashtead/Leatherhead and don't know this place, do you even really live here? I'd really like to say it sucks so that less people order takeaway and I get my Crispy Chilli Beef twice as fast, but that would be lying... And not to make a political statement, but we've had enough lies *cough Boris* *cough Brexit* *cough we'll have you all vaccinated by Feb* thank you kindly. Needless to say, it's lovely here - I recommend the salt and chilli prawns, crispy chilli beef, and the duck. Ps. I'd read some Trip Advisor reviews that said sometimes the food was cold, but I've ordered from here an embarrassing number of times and it's never been near cold. Just FYI.

The food was very poor quality, couple this with the fact I was left waiting 40 minutes and I was serviced a lukewarm meal. I recommend you avoid this restaurant at all costs.

First time ordering a takeaway for collection here, really disappointing. We were told 40 mins waiting time which was fine, on arrival had to wait quite a while, we only live a few minutes drive but food was stone cold. Warmed it up except the sesame prawn toast which was so burnt most of it was inedible. Other dishes were bland and even after warming again weren’t enjoyable. Most of it went in the bin.

WOW! Recently moved to the area and i cant get enough of this place! The food tastes incredibly fresh. Almost tastes healthy!? How is that possible? I've only had takeaways so far, so i cant wait for the taste of the food fresh from the kitchen. Vast menu, but i highly recommend the Smoked shredded chicken with garlic. Have tried a few other items on the menu but still so much to explore. I just want to keep going back for more. The staff are incredibly friendly, always smiling (no matter how busy they are! and i warn you, they do get very busy). I know they have a quite a few regulars as i witnessed them recognising the voices of people ordering by phone. So its not just me that keeps going back!

Amazing meal top service an all round enjoyable evening

Highly recommend Beijing Palace! We had a wonderful meal out last night (first during covid) and we will definitely be back again soon! Table service was fantastic and the food was spot on! I’d also like to mention it was very clean, tables were spaced out (with distance markings on the floor). But the restaurant also had a lovely atmosphere. They’re not doing the “eat out” scheme but the all you can eat menu was extremely good value for money! (Pre-book as they get very busy) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Me and my partner discovered this amazing gem of a restaurant in Ashtead! We usually go for the all you can eat fixed menu- which is so tasty and prepared freshly according to your order. Recently, with social distancing in place, we tried a takeaway and it did not disappoint! The food was hot and tasty with generous portions. Our favourite has to be the beef in black bean sauce- although hard to choose as it is all so delicious. Will definitely be back for another takeaway.

As good as ever! Choose the fixed price menu with its huge range of starters, crispy duck, selection of mains and even ice cream for £17.95. With wonderful service, what more could you want. Do not be put off by the side mole decor.

I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago after going there a few months ago, and again it was lovely. The service was fantastic but I would recommend booking on busy times and days. The staff were welcoming and the food was amazing. The best Chinese I have had. Will be returning soon.

This is a straightforward High Street Chinese. The food was good. Especially friendly. Quite lively for a Tuesday night. Good value.

Food here is fantastic - the restaurant it's self is in need of an bit of an update (it's clean and tidy, just a bit dated). As a vegetarian I find there is a reasonable choice on the menu & I trust the kitchen to ensure that it's actually vegetarian (ie not cooked in animal based fat oil or alongside meat).
