I've eaten a lot of Chinese food in my life. From Soho to Shanghai to Singapore. I've had the simple, the fancy, the obscure and the extraordinary. Some good, some bad and some unpronounceable. Chifan fits exactly where it should in the spectrum. It's tasty, it's reliable and the staff are lovely. I'd happily order in here anytime. Ask them what you want and they will do their best to help. Ask for wine and they'll produce a surprisingly good wine - list. In short, this is a restaurant that does exactly as it should. The owner, Jessica, should be proud of what she has achieved. The people of Dorking are lucky to have her.

The Singapore fried rice was packed with savory spices and a generous mix of ingredients. Delicious food, great portions, and friendly service—highly recommend!
