The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Maidstone South East

First time we’ve ordered from this takeaway but shall definitely order again as food was excellent! Close to home. It would be great if they started delivering at some point in the future.

Read lots of reviews for a Chinese delivery and decided on Magic Wok. So glad we did as the food was excellent, piping hot and delivered on time. We had given 2 hours notice for the time we requested and it arrived on the nail. Would highly recommend and we also got freebie prawn crackers. Good portion sizes and reasonably priced, what more can you ask for. We shall certainly be using again in the future.

Ordered a take away and was told ready in 20 minutes. Arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes later and waited 10 minutes at the front of the queue while receptionist took phone order after phone order after phone order. When she put the phone down i tried to tell her my name and that i was there to pick up my food but she interupted me and told me to wait a minute and then she asked the guy behind me who was clearly a regular customer what he'd ordered. I then tried to explain that i was before him and that i'd now been there 10 minutes to which she again replied wait one minute and continued to serve the guy behind me who had no problem jumping the queue. I told her to throw my food in the bin and left. Absolutely disgusting service and they lost an order of over £70.

BBQ ribs were not bbq, beef chow mein was tough meat and no flavour with the chow mein. Will not go there again

Everything was mediocre but 1 waiter, he was rude the whole time, we got told we was lying about the food being cold then he stuck his finger in the food, made to wait hour and 20 mins for our table, wasn’t given menus when sat down, gave looks to our family (mainly my mother who’s birthday it was and is pregnant), when we tried to raise our complaints the manager (the rude waiter) simply was looking for a fight and told us all we had no intention of paying and told us we should leave, one of the worst if not the worst restaurant I’ve been to, definitely to not recommend, absolutely disgusting.

The most saltiest chinese i have ever had made me feel sick, no colour was ment to be vegetable chowmein was just noodles very sad looking!

The Barbecue spare ribs are amazing.. Full lenght ribs with perfect sauce these are a must. Roast pork curry egg fried rice and portion of seaweed. All the dishes were full of flavour and generous in portion. Highly recommend in Maidstone..

3 Star Food Hygiene Rating.... Should be 5! We didn't know as trusted Just Eat reviews... Within an hour of eating, chronic diarrhoea and vomiting. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!!!

Went for an evening meal after a long time without being able to go to a restaurant. Pleased to report we weren't disappointed. We were seated promptly at a table for two and were immediately asked if we would like a drink. The server was very attentive as it wasnt the busiest evening, even though it was a Saturday. The menu itself is very extensive, with set meals as well as a la carte. We opted for a la carte. Our starters were Wonton soup(9/10), Butterfly King Prawns(9/10), salt & pepper squid(10/10) and salt & pepper ribs(7/10). This is due to a bit of "frozen" aftertaste on the ribs. After this our mains arrived, 2 portions of egg fried rice(one is enough for two people), beef in oyster sauce(7/10), again unfortunately a bit of "frozen" aftertaste on the beef but the sauce was delicious and the beef very tender. Also had the XO Squid + Prawns which were amazing(10/10). All in all a very good meal and hope the management will look into my comments on the ribs and beef. My ratings are only deducted for the food not being quite as good as it could have been. Definitely be back.

Rang to order a meal for my daughters birthday , put on hold whilst the staff member proceeded to have a chat and catch up with what sounded like her friends !! Ordered from Lenham instead !

Ordered take away for 4 people. All food ordered was good. Order was ready quickly. Would order from here again.

Worst Chinese in Maidstone portions really small ,no taste just pepper, poor service and really expensive ,now using the magic wok fantastic food not cheap but huge portions and they delivery service is great.

Ordered via Just Eat and the food was hot, quite nice and fresh, and tasted good! Will be ordering again.

The owner Yang was lovely and very welcoming and it’s very clean, and quick service .

I had rice with chilli chicken and it was very nice, I can't complain about the service but yet again I was the only person ordering at the time. The seating is inside the Mall so no view to the outside but pleasant enough and a very good value for money.
