Chopstix in Maidstone

I had rice with chilli chicken and it was very nice, I can't complain about the service but yet again I was the only person ordering at the time. The seating is inside the Mall so no view to the outside but pleasant enough and a very good value for money.

I visited today with my 8 year old son he dose not eat noodles because he can’t because he has a soft cleft pallet and has difficulty . And he dose not eat rice so I asked if he can have the toppings the chicken as I no this is some thing he can eat. They refused to sell me the 3 toppings for his lunch . And they can only be bought with the rice or noodles I have worked in food and customer service for many years and this has to be the first time I have ever seen this any were . If I had a customer who’s child or adult had allergies I would go above and beyond to make sure I could cater for them and have a pleasant experience. I had to order the food as my son really wanted the chicken . But left the noodles . I will never return to this place the staff are so miserable and customer service is 0.

Come here often. Staff are always polite and cheerful. Food is always nice and i think the price is fair,for how much you get. Very filling.

Bbq chicken was spongy and inedible. Kids didn’t eat their sesame chicken either. Noodles were okay. Toilet not working. Staff (1 male 1 female) had no engagement with us whatsoever. Regret going in.

The meat is like eating rubber no flavour very cheap meat. No flavour should have realised not to eat here when there was no one else here don't waste your money. What you see on the picture is what I didn't eat

I visit here regularly once a month Today lunch time. This restaurant,s toilet is not working from 5/6 month ago still not working today as well So Disgusting toilet and bad smell!

Wife and kids eat here, the food was cold, dry and didn't have any flavour. The only thing they serve apart from noodles and rice is different flavour of chicken.

Overall, the place is nice and clean, a good stop inbetween shopping. However the food was a bit dry.

I had a very late lunch so I went in at about 4pm and there wasn't a lot left obviously because they would be closing soon. The rice was a bit gloopy but the sweet chilli chicken was really really nice. Will remember to try and get in there earlier in future so that I can have more to choose from

Well worth the money the portion sizes are very feeling. Food is fresh and very yummy. Seating are is minimal so it don't get to busy. Nice place to eat at

food here is really nice been twice this month would defiantly recommend only thing that lets it down is there isn't much choice but what there is is nice!

Tried chilli chicken with rice and BBQ chicken and it was actually quite nice. The chilli chicken was really quite spicy which I like a lot. The big spring roll and prawn crackers were nice too. The only problem was my poor husband who had noodles, salt and pepper chicken and BBQ chicken, didn't feel too well a little while after eating. They seem to put a lot of noodles or rice in the box but you can ask them put less like I did.

Es bastante caro para lo que es. No hay mucha variedad. Lo que tenía estaba bien. Me imagino que yo era el primer cliente. No estoy seguro de que me gustaría tener más tarde en el día. El servicio era rápido y amable. No volvería, pero pensamos que vale la pena probarlo. Si era más barato probablemente sin tomar una toma de salida. No me sentar dentro de nuevo tiene cero personalidad y ambiente. Lo marcado caro para lo que es y el ambiente.

Congealed rice & chicken served up by sour faced staff in an unattractive shopping centre unit. If the aforementioned is your thing, then go for it. Personally, I should have known better, especially on first impressions.

Went for first time here. You choose noodles or rice, with two extra dishes, which are all chicken and no extra choice. Most of the food is brown coloured. The noodles are piled into a cardboard box, then the two chicken choices, in small pieces all piled on top. The noodles were dried up and tasteless, and it was impossible to differentiate between salt and pepper chicken and chicken in black bean sauce. It all tasted the same, vile and slimy and far too salty. The salt and pepper potatoes were heaped into an ordinary paper bag as was a large spring roll and the paper welded itself on to the food. Plastic cups and cutlery completed this sorry meal. The place was empty which was hardly surprising. The two staff serving were not especially helpful nor friendly. Most of the food was left. It was all sticky and slimy, glutinous and sweet and far too much salt. I wouldn't go near the place again even I was were starving.

Absolutely choking! The food was horrid. Sweet and sour chicken was a red extremely sweet slimey mess and the big spring rolls were filled with something which looked like vomit, not to mention the noodles with salted chicken. It was a take away. Costed £13.00 and all the food went in the bin. You should be ashamed of yourself. How can you call that fresh healthy food. You should be gone very soon

Really enjoyed this place reasonable prices and selection of food staff are ok clean place be there 3 times in the last month probably goto the Chatham high street outlet and try them and see how they compare with the Maidstone one

Gave this place another go but was disappointed again. Still no other meat than chicken on offer, I had black bean sauce again as it's my favourite but it was bland from here. The box portions are small, no where near worth the price you pay. The only good thing was the huge bag a prawn crackers that tasted alright. Won't bother going again

First visit quite likely not my last. Had a lovely portion of noodles, super fresh with salt & pepper chicken that was nicely cooked and full on flavour. For £4.50 there were no complaints from me. Certainly value for money in my books.

Sorry to leave a bad review but the rice and noodles are inedible , caramel chicken small pieces and tasted awful Please save your money and go elsewhere

We ordered a takeaway from here and ate it within about 15-20 mins. The noodles were dry and completely tasteless and the chicken looked and tasted like it was about 3 weeks old! In fact the whole meal tasted like it came from a value supermarket ready meal.Do yourself a favour, save your money and don't eat here.

We visited on a busy Tuesday lunchtime, wanted quick eat whilst out shopping. It calls itself a noodle bar, when clearly it isn't! The choice was minimal, I oppted for fried rice and green curry my husband had the same with addition of some caramel chicken(!?) we order two spring rolls too. The chicken was fine, but the rice was awful, it tasted revolting and had a glossy wet consistency like it had raw egg stirred though it. Totally inedible, I have never left a whole plate of food before, today was the first time. The spring rolls were awful, rubbery, soft, empty and encased in a thick batter like substance. Totally disappointing, we both left our cartons full and left the "noodle bar" I wish we had gone to McDonald's at least we could guarantee edible food!

Not bad food though my son didn't think it authentic enough. Not cheap. Alternative fast food, small selection though.

Went with family. Nice food and a good price too. Friendly staff and nice and clean. A good addition to the market in this area of town.

This restaurant fits in Nicely to the town-it has always needed something different apart from the same food chains. Being a lover of Chinese food, it met my expectations as the food was lovely and could be enjoyed by everyone. The service was good too

The only good thing about this place is the prawn crackers. A few of my friends had tried this place before me and said the food was horrible and bland so i decided to try it myself. I had the chicken in black bean sauce with noodles and it was just all bland, there was no taste to any of it. The spring rolls were ok but nothing special. Found it a bit disappointing that the only meat was chicken. I took the food back to my office to eat and found no napkins or cutlery in the bag, i guess I should have asked for them instead of assuming they would be in there like other places. Won't be going back

As its only just opened cant really say much at the moment, rice keeps seeming to change colour from yellow to white? The caramel chicken is yummy! Did wonder why they diddnt have actual chopsticks but now they do!

Went for the first time today. Had noodles and a chicken topping. Very good value for money and you get loads of food. I hope that the people of Maidstone give it a chance.

Newly opened. Clean and fresh. Food good price and hot. Tasty too. Bit sterile but good at what it does. Nice staff.

Decided to try this place as I got mixed reviews from friends who had been. To get the food you are in a line moving along the food like at Subway picking out what you want as you go. You can get a medium box for £4.50 which is noodles or rice with 1 chicken topping or a large box for £5.50 which is noodles or rice with 2 chicken toppings. Either box isn't very big, I've gotten bigger in London for less. The food is bland, I had noodles with chicken in black bean sauce (meat wise, there is only chicken), I found it to be quite bland tasting, just didn't really taste of anything. I had take-away and didn't realise until I got back to work that there was no cutlery in the bag, maybe I should have asked for cutlery but I thought it was standard to get cutlery. The spring rolls (you can get 5 for £1.50 and a large vegetable spring roll for £1.50) wasn't that bad, definitely tasted better than the chicken. I must say though, the prawn crackers are amazing! They aren't greasy and they taste lovely. The seating area is huge, plenty of tables and everything is clean
