We cook very well at home and judge bad food accordingly. Peeking Phoenix serves amazing fresh food with each element cooked as well as they can be, the staff are always friendly and you can tell this is a close nit family venture. You’d never think this restaurant was in Eastleigh, an asset to the town.

I have ordered the Singapore noodles and they were burnt so they exchanged it with fresh ones which were properly made. Second time third time they’d done the same with the chow mein!! Disgusting service on the phone as well really rude and obnoxious, telling me the first time that they were not willing to deliver me food I had also paid tons of money and they had done this on purpose 👎👎👎

Would give 0 if I could. Whole order was not edible. Rice was so overcooked. The chicken in sweet and sour sauce was so overcooked it was so chewy and like straw. So much chewy batter and no chicken!! Ordered two of each all was not edible and went in the bin. First time ordering and will never order again from this place.

I feel bad saying this but this was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Chow mein tasted like cigarette ash, the pork was as dry as sawdust, sweet and sour sauce tasted like vinegar and the fried rice was so bad it went straight in the bin. I really hesitate to leave such a negative review of what amounts to someone’s livelihood but I’m sorry it was that bad.
