Ordered dinner from here as had friend over after spending over £90 at around 21:30 the driver rang our door bell , ring bell so he knew we heard it anyways as I’m limping down the hallway driver starts bang on door very loudly i shouted I’m coming as I got to the door he literally threw the box of the food at me and as he walked off he said some very rude words .. which I wont put here … I shouted “excuse me” he walked off .. we use this place fairly often , but this will be our last our friend who also use to use this place said never again That’s unfortunately not the restaurant fault at such but maybe suggest to your drivers to be polite and not so rude as he could hear dogs barking too no need to be so inpatient

Very dissatisfied with the meal today. Duck with cashew nuts Was lots of some veggies with a few pink bits of some meat and few cashew nuts. Chicken balls to salty.

Avoid!! I got a delivery through ubereats. I ordered chicken chow mein. It was inedible because the amount of salt in it. It was as if the chef accidentally had dropped the salt pot in the dish. I could only eat a few bites by mixing it with white rice because I was starving at the end of the day. Extremely disappointed!

We have used Mandarin Garden for our take out on a number of occasions and they have never disappointed us. They are our go to for Chinese take out food. Our experience tonight was a first class one: Food arrived quicker than expected, and was delivered by a friendly young lady. The food was hot and delicious. Overall a really good experience once again, well done and thank you! 😊

Ordered as a takeaway. The duck was very dry but worse was the chicken chow mein which was so bland I couldn't belive it. No taste whatsoever and the worst chow mein I have ever had. Really sad as this had good reviews - maybe I was just unlucky but I was seriously disappointed.

Mandarin Garden has been my family's local Chinese takeaway for a very long time, always great food delivered in quick times!

Popped in there for the first time the other day and ordered some chicken balls. Definitely returning absolutely gorgeous. I definitely recommend this place and the staff behind the counter are very friendly and helpful. Defo 5 stars from me. 👍

My husband has just bought a mushroom foo yung for me with fried rice, a regular treat of mine, but this was the worst ever. I have to say the fried rice appeared to have never seen a frying pan and the mushroom foo yung was completely tasteless. it will be fed to the birds in the morning. Don't waste your money !!

Great prawn toast , crispy beef was crispy but the sauce tasted a bit Christmasy? I thought the noodles I ordered would be thin but they were quite thick (yeung chow). Free prawn crackers were a nice touch. Would come again and try the rice and kung po chicken :-)

Never had food from here. Decided to give it a go and order a takeaway. WOW!! The food was sooooo good. I think I've found my new Chinese takeaway. I'm looking forward to ordering from them again and choosing something different. The Kung Po Pork was amazing. We've even said we'll eat in the restaurant too some time. Thanks very much

I'd rather not be writing such a negative review about a local business. I ordered some food online through the Mandarin Garden website to be delivered at 6.30, was told that it would take an hour. I understood this as it was a Saturday evening. By 8.00, I was trying to contact the MG to find out if my order had been sent out, but there's no way to contact them by phone! I had to drive there and there was confusion in the shop, but was told that my order was no longer in the kitchen and was out for delivery. There was another customer in the same situation as me. I waited for about 10 minutes to get some sort of verification and then my partner at home called to say it had just turned up. I drove back home only to find that the order was wrong. I just couldn't be bothered to drive back there and go through the whole thing again! Sad to say that I won't be using again.

Food turned up 40 minutes early and I asked for the food not to be re heated when re delivered and cooked fresh as the correct time to be delivered was on the receipt. When got here half was cold and half was warm clearly reheated very disappointed with service

Money down the drain. Just spent £30 and it’s all wasted. I hate leaving bad reviews but don’t waste money like we just have. I love beef in black bean so having ordered it for years from so many places this was the worst one I’ve had, bland, watery, squashy soft green pepper (hardly any) and way too many onions. Duck in plum sauce was literally duck with pineapple & a sugary sauce, to the point we rung thinking we’d been sent the wrong dish. Hong Kong chicken was pretty mediocre, egg fried rice was pretty standard- neither of these really nice to make up for the other dishes. Delivery was super quick, which would be great if you could actually enjoy the food. We were really looking forward to having a Chinese as my partner is poorly and hasn’t been able to eat for months, he finally can, we picked this as a real treat & we are so disappointed ☹️

Got a takeaway from here last Saturday, was genuinely the worst experience ever from a Chinese and it is sad to say because I used to love this Chinese. Started off with prawn crackers (crisp packet size ) spare ribs that was pure fat, king prawn balls that was like eating pure batter and stale fries when advertised as “chips” also got a roast duck in satay sauce with about two bits of duck in it, genuinely felt robbed.

Good value for money always tasty food

We ordered mixed chow mein which comes in a red sauce and is very sloppy, all veg and meat were cooked but very slimy and veg over cooked with big wet egg noodles too. I prefer dry chow mein with thin noodles which is what I have had from most if not all other Chinese take aways. Mixed rice came in the same red sauce, very wet dish, same vegetables and meat as chow mein, tasted like the same dish twice over. Crispy duck was good but the sliced spring onion and cucumber were dry and slightly curly like they had been cut and left out too long. Crispy chilli beef was nice but too much sticky sweet sauce. Very spicy (which I don’t mind) but again nothing like I’ve had before from other restaurants and not as nice. No large spring rolls on menu which is disappointing.

I don't like leaving bad feedback, however when you pay for something more than a supermarket you expect better not worse. The chicken in both dishes was so dry I fed It to the dig, the chicken and cashew nut dish tasted like water was used in substitute of any actual sauce, there were about 5 nuts in the whole dish, watery and tasteless.

Hands down, the best Chinese in chandlers ford and eastleigh. Best Chinese we have had in years.

Disgusted and repulsed by this restaurant. Orders on just eat and I’m turned off Chinese food for good. I feel like vomiting. The prawn balls were burnt and inedible and I ordered a chicken foo yung and it came as only chicken and onions - NO EGG with it. Everyone knows a traditional foo young is an omelette. Dodgy money grabbers who can’t even cook a decent Chinese. Horrified and sickened. DONT order from here! It was the worst meal I’ve ever had.

The food was so bland and tasteless. The chicken with cashew nuts had no flavour and looked like water. Couldn’t eat it. The chicken chop suey was the same very bland and no flavour. The Singapore noodles again did not taste of much at all. Very very disappointed. First time eating from here and certainly the last. So much left over

I have used this Chinese for a few years and always been really good, last time was summer 2021, however tonight the food was not upto standard, tasted bland and chewy

This was not very nice food, it was runny, sloppy, watery and a bit like soup and very bland. I absolutely hate complaining but I feel we could have cooked these dishes better at home. The one positive I would add is the portions were generous but personally I would rather have less and good quality, tasty food.

Not sure why the reviews are not so good . Moved to area 6 months ago and used this takeaway for a while now and all is positive including the quick delivery. No negatives what so ever I have eaten at many Chinese restaurants and this will be on top of my list.

We use this Chinese often but unfortunately today will be the last time. Driver got lost trying to deliver (no other delivery drivers have had this problem in the area) and we spent 10 minutes trying to work out where he was to point him in the right direction. He then tried to charge us for this! On top of that, the salt and chilli chips we ordered were plain chips, no seasoning at all. Another one of our dishes was also incorrect, we ordered a special with chillis and spices yet we got a mild curry with pineapple in it? Spring rolls cold and soggy. Disappointing is all I have to say.

Very good had better spare ribs and overall Chinese but overall good. Food got here quick no problems with that.

We use this Takeaway whenever we want to eat Chinese Style Food. Always been good and tasty. They are friendly people and always willing to help.

We’ve used Manderin Gardens for a while now and never been dissapointed.....just about to order a meal now and the meal we had delivered last wk was absolutely spot on.......couldn’t fault one little bit and I am a fussy eater...... Delivery drivers friendly....sometime a wait but it’s always worth it........a sign of people on the same wavelength I guess...... Keep up the great work - please! and Thank you.

Just had the worst takeaway delivered from this Chinese,, bland, tasteless, glupey and cold. Will not order from here again.....its all gone in the compost bin.....40 quids worth... Grrrrrr

Ugh... should have read the reviews before trying their take away. Absolutely awful! Didn’t finish it and are going to throw it away! The food has no flavour. “Crispy” Szechuan beef is chewy. The house chicken special smelled terrible. Their vegetable dish in their house special sauce is a container full of bean sprouts, some water chestnuts and mushrooms. We found two florets of broccoli. Highly recommending to go somewhere else! Not worth the calories...

I wouldn't even give them 1 star! Ordered at 6.14, had a miss call at 7.20 and called straight back.. rang a further 6 times and no answer so rang the shop.. told she would find out and get back to us.. she didn't! (The driver clearly answered the phone to the lady in the shop as we call them at the same time and it went to answer phone) so could answer to them and not us! Called the shop again at 7.40 and she told us he left 10 mins ago then when that passed called again and told quite rudely 'hes back here now.. you didn't answer the first time' we explained we called straight back including the numerous times and they didnt answer, she simple said 'well hes back here now so what do you want me to do now' told them to cancel it! Absolute joke of a service! We only tired them as our usual 'good earth in eastleigh' was closed!!! We will make sure to stick with our favourite! I would suggest you use them too :)

I don't even want to give these rude liers 1 star, ordered our food at 18.14, at 19.43 I contacted them to see where our food was only to be lied to and was told it left 10mins ago. Called 10mins later and still no sign of our food. Called the shop again and they told me the driver had returned to the shop, and did I still want the same order but it'll be cold or I could wait another 50mins for a fresh 1 (I have no doubt they would have just sent the same one out again) so had to cancel the order and go else where. Will never order from here again and they are very rude!!!

We ordered some take-away from here this week whilst on holiday. Looked on the website and called in the order. It said the set meal was £23. More fool us for not checking the amount charged at the time but you take people at their word when they advertise prices on their website. Today, when I checked my bank statement, it said £28.50. We checked the menu that was included with our order (after we already ordered obviously) and this also said £28.50. We checked the website again and today it says £25!! When we called them to discuss this, we were told it really wasn’t their fault. I’m absolutely shocked that a business would do this and take zero responsibility for being at best slack about customer service and at worst, downright dishonest. We were going to order again on the last night of our holiday but on principle, we will take our money somewhere else where customers aren’t treated with such contempt. The food was ok. Ribs were great, duck was tasty and fried rice was good. The beef with ginger was absolutely awful and had a snot-like consistency so we really wouldn’t recommend that. So sad about this experience as we really thought we’d found a good Chinese take-away for next time (steering clear of the beef of course). What a disappointment.

Worse Chinese meal ever! Items missing when we got home, luckily probably as the food itself was very bland, thrown in the dishes, and had a strange after-taste! My family love Chinese food, so knew it was poor when I threw 50% in the bin - even the dog refused to eat it! Wasted £60 for a family meal Christmas Eve, so very disappointed...... they even had the cheek to charge £1 for a debit card transaction!! Never again thankfully!

In all the years that I have eaten Chinese take away food, I have never had the misfortune, to use a worst take away as these, they obviously haven't a clue, what Chinese food should look or taste like, they could have put a trained monkey in the kitchen, & it couldn't have done any worse!!! If you have any respect of your stomach, don't use this take away!!

We had a takeaway from here before Christmas. Starters were good and the soup was nice. Unfortunately the 4 main dishes were very bland and tasteless. This was disappointing as we've had good meals from here for but not got many months.

Waited an hour and a half for our food to arrive. We tried ringing them and they disconnected their phone line. My mum and I drive up there and complained, at that point my sister rings to say it arrived. No discount or money taken off and not even a sorry. Food wasn't that brilliant either. Not a happy customer!

Been ordering from here for years, tried others but always come back - very friendly service from both counter staff and delivery drivers who always get a tip. Can get a bit busy at times so always phone your order in and pick up or have it delivered during weekends.

La peor experiencia de mi vida. Nos dijeron que esperar 1 horas y 2 horas más tarde y encontrar el conductor había sido conducir 45 minutos con nuestra comida en su coche. Llegamos aquí y fue completamente inedible. Todo era tan seco como una antigua botas. Así que lo que nos costó 50 libras después de un descuento de 15 libras terminó en la papelera y para que sea peor la señora que hablamos culpó del lote en el conductor. Teniendo en cuenta que es su patrón del suyo trabaja para ellos directamente o no no es su problema o la nuestra es no's. Y para rematar, no mencionar un reembolso a la respuesta de que no puede ser tan malo como los clientes siempre regreso a nosotros.

Siempre me costará encontrar un chino decentes, así que siempre explorar y encontré este lugar 15 minutos de mí y yo estaba por encima de la luna porque su comida era fantástica, la señora con la que hablé fue muy educado y servicial, lo cual fue un fantástico servicio. No podía creer lo mucho carne ponen en sus comidas. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar : -)

Cuando finalmente (55 minutos más tarde) la Chow mein parecía anodina de pollo y el pollo estaba seco, no parecía una mein la comida, simplemente muy salada. El arroz al huevo frito también era muy sosa, no muy bien preparado arroz hervido con huevos.

Very friendly lady (who took our order). We all enjoyed our different meals (prawn balls, king prawn kung po, chilli squid, chick chow mein), big portions & tasty & fresh. Prompt & friendly delivery. Gets my recommendation :)
