The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South East

Extremely disppointment with the service. Last time they cancelled the order after almost waiting for an hour. Cancelled the order today as well, not reliable anymore!

Services was okay, the guys was rushing for us to order and waiter will come over to keep the rice bucket even before we finish the food and will scoop the rice for you. Sweet and sour pork the best I would say. Others are still okay.

We chose thos place as around the area it was the only Chinese place showing vegetarian options but I should have opted for something else as vegetarian or not the food was something I could never have eaten . Non authentic taste , everything was so mixed up in tastes that the originality was lost somewhere in the kitchen , ambience was good but will not recommend for authentic Chinese food

Ordered a salt and paper set meal for £20 but it was so small would only feed one person and the food was very dry wouldn’t order from here again . Delivery also takes a long time

Prawn crackers were missed off the order - but were delivered ten minutes later.

Amazing buffet with good service and amazing staff, Luis one of the waiters was brilliant as always very much happy to help and assist our needs making sure we had a lovely dinner. Would recommend to anyone looking to go out for a meal with friends/family.

Avoid at all costs portion sizes are ridiculously small and prices are super high will not be going back again.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Booked here for a birthday and was not disappointed. The team were more than happy to accommodate a cake and assist with anything we requested in regards to food allergies. The sizzling dishes are great and the Sea Bass was cooked to perfection and delivered by the staff with professionally removing the head and spine. Overall, great atmosphere and experience

Love our local Chinese restaurant. Isabella and team are great. Food is always hot and fresh and we are always found a little table and made to feel very welcome. They are happy to listen to your food likes and dislikes and are happy to create something special. Diana

My partner and I attended the Sunday buffet at tai tong which was very very nice, a much more relaxed atmosphere to your standard buffet set up, where you order from the menu and your dishes are brought to your table, the staff are very helpful and friendly i can definitely recommend this restaurant

Food is nice but women on the front til has STINKING ATTITUDE felt like dragging her over the desk

Ordered a take away and was told ready in 20 minutes. Arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes later and waited 10 minutes at the front of the queue while receptionist took phone order after phone order after phone order. When she put the phone down i tried to tell her my name and that i was there to pick up my food but she interupted me and told me to wait a minute and then she asked the guy behind me who was clearly a regular customer what he'd ordered. I then tried to explain that i was before him and that i'd now been there 10 minutes to which she again replied wait one minute and continued to serve the guy behind me who had no problem jumping the queue. I told her to throw my food in the bin and left. Absolutely disgusting service and they lost an order of over £70.

I've travelled all over the world, and the Yantze restaurant has provided some of the best food and dining service I've ever had. The staff at the yantze have always been kind and caring, delivering the best service, and even surprised me with a memorable conversation from a few years ago, about the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe book series. As you embark on your well-deserved retirement, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful dining experiences you've provided for myself, my family, and my friends.
