Nice hot food nice place with good price

Jade garden delivery time has increased so tried here and what a disappointment. The food was actually disgusting. The chicken satay is lacking compared to other places and the satay sauce is more a brown water than a nice satay sauce you’d expect. The rice just looked bland and not to standard. The meat across the beef chow mein and lamb onion and ginger dish was dry, flavourless and was just awful. The sauces across all we had was just watery and nothing good to be said. Compared to others in the area, the cost of what we had was near £70. If was in dining I’d refuse to pay as is not to a standard anyone should get. Disgusting

That was decent. Thursday night treat. 40 mins from ordering to the door. All the food was hot and nice. Chow mein, chicken balls, crispy beef. All of it spot on. Good curry sauce. Bit pricey but worth it for decent food

Part of order missing did not get the chicken and noddle soup or Hong Kong sweet and pork which I was really looking forward to as love Hong Kong style . food was of good quality and well cookedPork dumplings and mussels and chicken balls and sweet and sour and were really good and would order these items again. Sadly found the rice and prawn toast a bit greasy for me

Just started using this place. It's the best place we've found. Fantastic food, cooked perfectly and fresh and hot and always delivered quickly. Proper tasty! Wouldn't go anywhere else now.

The eat as much as you like is amazing. All freshly prepared for you, tastes delicious and staff very friendly. It was quiet tonight but only to be expected on a Monday night. But seriously, if you want a great chinese in Medway, this is the place to go. The only downside is no draft drinks, everything is from a bottle and served warm.

The service was exceptional, with the staff being friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, with flavors that were authentic and satisfying. If you're looking for a Chinese restaurant with great service and fantastic food, I highly recommend Tangs Restaurant.

First time ordering won't be the last food was beautiful and great quality prices may be a little more but you get what you pay for

Our regular Chinese was closed tonight so tried Tangs, eaten in there before and its always good but never had a take away from there. They are now going to be our go to take away! food was as good as eating in, on time and steaming hot!

Been going here for 20 years and its always been nice and welcoming. Lovely food. I've added this to the review but after now going there for 25 years I've stopped going as they want you to pay a deposit in cash so you have to go there, they won't take a card payment. So due to this I will no longer be going there.

ordered at 5.07pm food turned up at 7.15pm, cold limp king prawns in batter, cold egg fried rice, greasy chips, warm but edible chicken chow Mein and warm lamb curry with tiny pieces of meat, a waste of £44 I will not be ordering from you again

Food was stone cold so greasy. Mongolian lamb couldn’t eat the smell was awful. Curry had all separated not sure why. And very over priced won’t be ordering again

Curry sauce was runny and very oily, the taste of it was really unpleasant. Wonton soup thin on flavour. Not impressed, sorry.

We absolutely love Tangs. Have been a fair few times as a couple or as a family group for special occasions. Food is always lovely and fresh and hot. The bbq ribs are a favourite, the peppercorn king prawns are lovely too. We try to add a new dish to try each time too, you can't really go wrong.

If you want to re-visit the late 70's/early 80's for some nostalgia then definitely eat here. Zero investment in the premises. Food is sub-standard at best. Service was quick though but your food temperature falls rapidly as the restaurant is freezing cold. Don't dare ask for the heating to be put on as you'll be met with a stern look & a rapid shut down response. 100% would not recommend or re-visit.

The food is lovely and the all you can eat option is great. The drinks came out of a bottle so were a bit flat but otherwise a great establishment!

It was good and bad . Chow mein nice , chicken balls really nice . Chips just about edible , they overly sweat in the cardboard container . The duck was ok ish but for such a premium product I’d want it too be cooked better . The skin had not been rendered down and had too many lumps of fat in it . So ok ish we enjoyed 2 things and did not like 2 .

Great food. Service can take really long towards the end of the week and weekends. Not much atmosphere, no music and waitresses not very talkative.

Food disappointing. Has gone down in expectations. Forced to order mains with appetiser as kitchen closed at 9.30 on a Saturday. My drink was flat...ordered vodka and tonic.special rice wasn't special at all...no peas and a couple of shrimps. Bland. At least the staff didn't argue this time un like last visit but food lacked soul. It lacked loads. Thought I'd give it a chance but its lost its lust . Prices hiked and no crispy lamb

Foods good, however its not good value night out , 1 when ordering a short , it literally comes in a short glass with very small mixer not quality brand and you are charged 80p so £5.20 for a very small G&T. 2 the time they take between each saving is very slow so appetite goes half way through meal. 2yrs on I'm now adding to this review the food is as good as anywhere, the 2 waitress are very good and work incredibly hard and recommend to couple of friends and they agreed.

We hadn't been to Tangs for years because we moved house but decided to try it again. We really enjoyed our meal. The food was delicious and the service excellent. We think that the restaurant's policy of only allowing a certain number of dishes to be ordered at a time is a very good one which ensures that no food is wasted. We ordered some extra portions of our favourite dishes and had more than enough to eat.

Great fresh food !!! Only problem is that you can only order a certain amount of dishes which really slows the service down often not reaching dessert as kitchen closes . We do visit frequently and won’t ever waste food but this is the only downfall .

We went to Tangs over bank holiday, a group of six fellas from the same family. Firstly the rule is that you can only order 7 dishes at once and have to finish those before you can order the next course. Apparently this is to cut down on food waste. This makes the whole process slow and there were long delays between courses. When it did arrive, the food was amazing. Obviously we finished everything and it was delicious. Once we got comfortable after our starters we had the feeling of being rushed. The waitress told us the kitchen closed at 9pm but it was them slowing us down. Overall great food but rushed service. Sadly we won’t be going back.

So I love this place and it bothers me also. So, the quality of the food is fantastic, and I love the selection. However, the limit of number of plates you can order and the portions of the plate is too little on both counts. The portion sizes are perfect if you're allowed, maybe two or three plates per person. However, I always go with family, and we find we're waiting longer than we're eating. If the portion sizes were larger or as mentioned, more plates could be ordered, then this place would be a lot better. The service does seem a little cold and less personal, but the staff are nice none the less.

Fantastic service, lovely friendly and attentive staff, great selection of food, all the food was piping hot! Nothing was too much trouble. We had a table of 8 and we started off by ordering 9 different starters which we promptly demolished, we were swiftly asked if we required more in which we then ordered another 6 different starters, then cane the duck course, moist but crispy on the outside, it was simply delicious 😋 great selection, wonderful service and piping hot food brought each time. Would definitely recommend and will most certainly be back, thankyou fir the hospitality

Lovely dining experience with my family. The restaurant is exactly like the pictures, the tables all have a good space between them and the windows bring in a lot of natural light. The food we had here was fantastic. The all you can eat menu is very good with a restriction on how many dishes you can order each time (something like 4 dishes for 2 people, 5 for 3, 6 for 4-5 etc.). All of the dishes are small but come out at the same time. Once eaten you can order everything again if you want and it all comes out fresh and hot. Perfect! We ordered most of the appetizers and everything was delicious. Not a single dish we left. The pork dumplings were one of my favourites but there were so many it was hard to pick! The food is mainly served sharing style, so that everyone can have a try. The service was pretty good, we had to flag someone down a few times but it was quite busy so that isn't a problem. The bathroom is upstairs, which may make it harder to visit for some people. Parking can be a little tricky. There is on street parking outside but it fills up quickly. There is a carpark around a 5 minute walk away. Overall it is a lovely restaurant and I can see why everyone raves about it!

Tangs is a very clean well run restaurant. The staff are always on hand and make sure you have everything you need. I would suggest booking as it gets very busy very quickly . The menu options are incredible with plenty to choose from. The quality of the food is fantastic and I would definitely recommend a visit. Easily one of the best all you can eat restaurants around.

Tried the 1st time as a couple had amazing food and service. Only down side the chairs gave us rotten back ache. Gave it another try and returned with the entire family as aTable of 8 around the round table. We had amazing food and service again. But we all suffered with rotten back ache again. We would love to return as the food is amazing but the chair situation is putting us and others off.

Absolutely wonderful experience as always. As a regular customer at Tangs I do not understand what they are talking about. This is a great restaurant. Food is always lovely and freshly cooked for you and the service is out of this world. Really don't understand why anyone would have a problem here. Highly recommend Tangs for romantic or family meals.

Had one of the best nights at a restaurant for ages. Food was amazing and the service was incredible. Would highly recommend. We are even taking our friends here tomorrow as we enjoyed out time there so much. Freshly cooked and delicious.

To the owner - the food is good - but behavior makes the cut - staff are very rude to specific customers depending on their mood this is not what we expect in hospitality service.

I happened to visit this place for a take away late evening. The waitress was so rude. She did not even consider to offer me a seat but rather kept pestering me to order quick and move out .. I told her, I needed time as my partner was parking the car and unfortunately I left my wallet in the car, so had to wait for few minutes.. But, I guess, that was unacceptable. She would rather see me wait out in the cold and come in only when I'm ready to order.And This was with a completely empty restaurant. She said "this is not a waiting room " ..like I was home less and went in there for warmth.. the Irony was I went there from work wearing my NHS work wear ..with all the glamour and clapping people showed us a few years back, this felt like a slap of reality. Irrespective of who we are or what we are, every customer deserves respect. PERIOD . Will never suggest this place ever ever to anyone, unless management changes their behaviour ..

Very bad behaviour by staff. Had asked my friend to place an order for a take away, and saw him walk out of there annoyed telling that the lady at the reception was very rude and demanded to order immediately or leave .. very unfortunate and unheard of such behaviour in the UK where most places are very friendly and welcoming. Ended up dining at World Spoon ..had a wonderful evening there

Such rude staff. I was there with my kid while waiting for my wife to park and was told I can't wait .."This isn't a waiting area" in the ladys own words. All I need was a few minutes without being pestered to make an order while waiting at the door. With an completely empty hall, she didn't have the courtesy to offer me a seat , let alone talk politely. She told me , I had 15 minutes to get the order before the guests arrived and had to hurry or move out. If you can't respect customers, then that's not good news for your business.

We have been to this restaurant a few times and really enjoyed the food and Chinese waitress always lovely and helpful. Last night we had the worse experience there. Food was OK but all chinese staff sacked and now being waited on by rude ethnic waitresses that seemed to be more interested in serving men only. When it came to our choice of the evening I was refused a menu to choose my food and being so rude at the same time. Shame the old staff have gone.

Fabulous food, great atmosphere and great service. My only issue is toilet upstairs which is awkward due to my mobility.

Despite the fact that both of our kids are 100% Scottish, they LOVE Chinese food, so we order lots of Chinese takeaways (for a Scottish family, anyways!). We tried Tangs for the first time yesterday, and WE WERE HORRIFIED BY THE WAY THEY TREATED US! The woman who answered the phone kept screaming at us, just because (she says) she was busy, and then she hung up on us. We called back, thinking that it was some sort of mistake, AND SHE HUNG UP ON US AGAIN!!! We finally gave up. What kind of business are they running? Folks, dont even think about calling Tangs! They are horrible! I agree with all of the negative reviews in here.

Ridiculous place. They refused my booking as it was an adult and toddler “unfair on me” apparently. Offered to pay for 2 adults but the manager still refused.discrimination against single parents who would just like to eat out. I would give less than 1 star if i could for that type of behaviour.

Eat all you can menu good value worth visiting

Me and my girlfriends met at Tangs for lunch last month to celebrate one of our birthdays. Then, sometime later, my husband had dinner with his football buddies there as well. We compared notes later, and discovered that we both had horrible experiences at Tangs. It was obvious to both of us that customer service was not a high priority at Tangs, as both of us (and all of our friends) were treated very badly by everyone at Tangs. Me and my husband decided that we would never go back to Tangs again. There are plenty other good restaurants around. Why should be subject ourselves to such horrible treatment by Tangs employees and then PAY FOR IT???

Food is delicious everything cooked perfectly, service is fast and efficient, no long waits for your food. Come here regularly and would recommend to anyone

Rude staff, don’t deserve anyones customs. Called to find out how their “all you can eat” works and was spoken too so rude. This is the second time now, as when we popped in to see if they had tables once I thought they was rude too but thought I’d give them a try again. Definitely won’t ever be getting my custom!

I Love going to Tang's. Definitely the best 'all you can eat' buffet around, that also do take out. So many different things to pick from. We're always able to book a table on the day and get a table for 2 with no worries.

Had a lovely meal here with friends

We visited Tang's a year ago, and was treated horribly by a rude and obnoxious Eastern European waitress. We vowed never to return. But we changed our minds and gave it another chance after a year. Unfortunately, it was just as horrible as before. The same waitress who treated as like dirt was still there, and treated us just as horribly as before. I don't understand why the Tang's management doesn't care at all about customer service and why it keeps employing such a horrible server who mistreats customers. I'd echo all the negative comments from other customers about the terrible customer service at this restaurant. NO ONE SHOULD VISIT TANG'S if they care at all about being treated in a decent manner. Yes, the food is very good, but it's not worth having to be treated like absolute dirt by the waitress.

What a wonderful experience it was last night to dine out with friends at Tangs, service was 1st class,meal also was 1st class the atmosphere was great.

Tried booking on several occasions however always met with attitude and someone rude on the phone. Called today at 4.30 for a birthday meal and asked if you have a table this afternoon, they shouted back you mean this evening. In the end told them not too worry. If this is the customer service on the phone hell, knows what it’s like in the restaurant, glad I didn’t go. Always wanted to go here, guess it’s not meant to be….

We visited for the first time last night and was very impressed..The food was great, everything cooked to order and very tasty...The staff were very friendly and we will definitely return when we have longer to try even more...delicious
