Order from here very regularly always get the roast pork with mixed vegetables and chicken with black bean sauce never fails to disappoint 🙂

Love this place, great value and extremely high quality food

We had the all you can eat buffet. Food absolutely gorgeous and relatively quick service although they were quite busy.

Great place, owners or people who manage it are amazing! They’ll explain the menu, how they structure it, if you want all you can eat if you want smaller portions or main course size. Food was good and came out relatively fast too, which meant everything was nice and hot and stayed hot too as they have plate warmers.

I have both dined in and collected takeaway and thoroughly enjoyed both experiences! The food is extremely tasty and the staff are super friendly. This is mine and my families new favourite Chinese restaurant!

Food was 8/10, crispy beef can be improved. There was a weird tangy flavour to most dishes which I didn’t like much. But taste is subjective to each person. Service was great and quick. Will give it another chance.

Stumbled across this restaurant by accident and this is the second time we have been. The restaurant is cosy and warm and offers both an al-a-carte buffet option or just a typical menu. I believe weekend prices for the set menu are £29.50 pp and £25.50 pp mid-week. On both occasions we have gone for true all-you-can-eat option and haven’t been disappointed. The food is very quick and the menu has a selection with all the favourites. Our last visit was on New Year’s Eve and considering how busy they were the staff were friendly and efficient and food arrived quickly. We’d highly recommend and travel around 30minutes to visit this restaurant. There is parking on the main road or a side-road where there is also ample parking.

Great food, service can be a bit hit and miss

No delivery service even through other parties & no menu anywhere, once i had placed an order (only a small simple one) i decided to call back to double check what was ordered. Once i had done this it was only then i was told that one item i had ordered didn’t exist on their menu & they had just written down the next best thing.. however the staff were very polite. The food was VERY bland, the meat was very rubbery & tasteless. The service in general felt very half hearted. The menu is very limited & i most certainly wont be ordering from here again. In conclusion, i would NOT recommend this takeaway to anyone. I ended up putting 80% of mine in the bin, very disappointing overall.

We had a great family meal for 10 people for a birthday celebration. The food was very good and service was excellent. We had the all you can eat menu - plenty of variety and portions were very generous. My elderly Father-in-law mentioned a beef and stir-fried noodle dish he had eaten over 30 years ago at another restaurant, they made it for him. A birthday dessert and candle came (without asking) Very friendly owner/staff and very attentive.

Horrible staff! Will not catch me dead in this restaurant! Ridiculously rude to my family when asked if the children can get dessert and said that they can’t! The price is overpriced for the quality of food! Do not come here!

All you can eat buffet, expensive meal out in a tired restaurant. Felt like a conveyor belt, food distinctly average. Mains came out with the soup, small portions and was cold by the time we ate it. Had a horrible taste of old cooking oil in my mouth for a couple of days afterwards. Seemed very popular…. no idea why!

We've just got home from a fantastic evening dining here. It's reasonably priced and the food was delicious, but the real stars are the staff, they were all so attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a meal out!

Not bad, I would eat here again. New to the area I have slowly been trying different Chinese food restaurants to find the perfect one as yet this is in the top end so far but i'm going to continue looking as I'm looking for an amazing takeout.

I've dined here many times and had takeaways and the food is always lovely and full of flavour.eating in you can have a choice of choosing from a set menu which is just great as me and my husband choose 5 starters then duck pancakes and 6 main dishes for a set price and its all so delicious.the staff are all friendly and helpful.one of our favourite places to eat

We came here for a Chinese last night. We haven’t ever been here before and it was absolutely lovely. The food was so fresh and full of taste and flavour. The staff are very welcoming and it’s a lovely relaxing environment. We have booked to come again next Friday it was that good. This is best Chinese in the area. Visited for the first time 3 weeks ago with friends for dinner. Excellent food and service. Lots of choices for starters and main meals, which is even better if you go in a large group, as you can try various dishes. Worth a return.

Today I went alone without a pre-booking. It was busy there and I requested a table to the reception lady. She was busy attending phone call orders even though she managed to find a table for me. The service is very nice and smooth and friendly staff. Good knowledge about the food menu, happily explained to me about the food I requested. Very reasonable price. Highly recommend if you are a person who wants to go alone /with friends and try some delicious chinese dishes this restaurant is awesome. Quality & tastey food for a reasonable price.

If no stars options available,I could give to this restaurant minis 0 star ,horrible rood customer service, ordered sweet chilli chicken,pineapple become ice cold but chicken was hot ,plate was dirty !don’t go there pls ,don’t west your money and time !

Not alot I can say other than another great meal and service. All the staff are friendly and Anthony the owner is very attentive making sure your food is up to scratch and is alway on hand if you have a problem. Our food was delicious as always, of good quality and piping hot. Our friends from the IOW were very impressed with the standard and quality. As Arni said we'll be back. 😂

On 3 rd December my wife’s b,day we had a meal,it was nice,not great,expensive As we had a few beers,then yesterday I was shown pictures of the kitchen the day after we had eaten there,disgusting,health inspectors said it was terrible,filthy,dirty And the pictures well I couldn’t believe it,I wouldn’t eat in there again.. Be warned

It's amazing how people reacted to the recent health inspection report. One could simply surmised that the inspector had made an unfair splash of his report to the news by sensationalizing his finding! Obviously, he had the chance to issue a clean up work order and gave the restaurant reasonable notice to clean up! Any business owner would be most willing to comply and I am certain if anyone go and inspect again, I have no doubt the bad report would be a thing of the past! I have eaten at the restaurant before and have enjoyed the great food and especially the simple oriental ambience though it may be a bit dated. Nonetheless, the nostalgia to go back again is a bigger pull than worrying about this unhelpful health report which I think is prejudicial towards the business! Another fabulous meal at Royal China! Love the fact you can order freshly cooked food off an extensive menu, all for a fixed price. Honestly it's better than many other Chinese restaurants ive been to locally & in London. Was busy again tonight and rightly so as the food is always on point. Great food & friendly staff. Def recommend.

Filthy cutlery and glasses had multiple hairs on my plate, rude to me and my family. Wouldn't eat there is it was free.

I have eaten here many times and have always had a good experience. The staff are very friendly and service is provided very quickly and efficiently. I fully recommend this establishment which has been in Banstead for a number of decades.

Look at the food hygiene rating. We are here for years, mostly take away sometime inside, but based on what I saw in the papers I won’t eat here again ever. Simple google search is enough. Shame on you Royal China, disgraceful.

Went there 17/12 in a foursome with my brother and respective ladies. I have been there many times before but it was my brothers first time, and he has said it won't be his last. Bearing in mind it was absolutely full, I had pre-booked, I cannot start to explain how brilliant the service was all night, and the food came just at the right time, and it was cooked to perfection. It is a little expensive, but when you get food and service this good, it is fully worth every penny. Thank you Anthony and all your staff.

Exceptionally Rude and Nasty Waitress!!! I booked a table for 9 people (including 2 children) to celebrate my sister and her children’s visit to the UK. All the adults had the “eat as much as you like” menu, and the children chose from the A La Carte menu. The waitress upon clearing the main course verbally attacked my 11 year old nephew for finishing what was left in the rice bowl from the adults meal, telling him he couldn’t eat anything from the adults plates. She then proceeded to argue with the table. When dessert orders were taken, most of the adults didn’t want either of the options, which were a scoop of vanilla ice cream or tinned lychees.When the children said they would like ice cream, the waitress again verbally attacked them saying “no you can’t have ice cream from the adults, you on a la carte”. The manager then stepped in trying to diffuse the situation, telling us it was okay for the children to have a scoop of ice cream. However the managers attempt at reprimanding the vile waitress only seemed to be a friendly smiling exchange. Perhaps they are husband and wife? Disgusting, embarrassing experience, and in front of my guests!! The manager needs to grow a pair, and give that nasty piece of work her P45!! I lived in Banstead for 12 years in the past, and have been to this restaurant before. I will never again step inside their doors!! I am also qualified and trained in Hotel Management, and have never experienced such appalling customer service. Stay away unless you want to be made feel very uncomfortable and belittled in front of your guests!! After paying a bill of over £250, I wouldn’t have said it was a cheap evening (One bottle of wine and 4 beers)

For £25.50 per person you can get much better food elsewhere. For an “all you can eat” we weren’t asked if we wanted any more food and instead plates were hurried away. Expensive dinner for mediocre food.

Excellent food and a reasonable price of about £25 per head for an evening meal. We generally have the buffet menu where you can have as much as you can eat. Sadly my appetite is not as good as it was but I try hard!!

Disappointed during covid times that they have no NHS code for track and trace. Also they were about the only restaurant locally not taking part in help out to eat out during August. They have lots of loyal customers who would have appreciated that.

Had such a delicious chinese meal here. It was quiet when we visited so service was fast (can’t comment on what it’s like when it’s busy). The starters and duck pancakes were particularly good. Food was all good quality as well, not too greasy.
