The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South East

Had a mango drink that was advertised as being filled with mango chunks, but came as just a mango flavoured milk tea with no real fruit at all. Didn't realise until I was home, as it was put in a bag, and when I contacted on Instagram to ask if this was a quality issue and never got a response. Very over-priced for what it was, and really felt like false advertising to me. Wouldn't go back unfortunately.

great evening with fantastic food Jon is a great host really friendly and very helpful i am celiac so to get a good Chinese meal is really good will defiantly be back again soon thanks for a great night

Absolutely loved my experience! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual hangout. The drinks were delicious, especially the milk tea, which was rich and flavorful. Service was top-notch, friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Highly recommend!

The chips are absolutely delicious, a surprising gem, the potato inside is fluffy, amazing chips!

Came for evening dinner on a Sunday, no wait for a table (even though they were still doing plenty of business at the time). Once we ordered our food was served hot and fresh within 10minutes. Best fried noodles and sweet & sour chicken! I’ll be back!

This was our first and last experience of the Buddha Restaurant. First impressions were terrible, upon arriving we were abruptly asked 'what do you want?' rather than anything accommodating. Our server was less than helpful, confusing everyone at the table to how we order food then telling us that we could only order a small selection of dishes with no explanation to why we couldn't order from the rest of the 'all you can eat' menu. When asked for 5 more minute they just stood there jumping in to our conversation when not invited. The food was substandard and resembled microwave meals at best with all of it being very overcooked. When food was brought to our table, the plates that were incredibly hot were constantly dumped, not placed, in front of our 11 month old son who likes to explore things placed in front of him. Zero consideration or thought was given towards a small child burning themselves. Awful experience, awful service and awful food would not recommend to anyone.

Wonderful service in a beautiful restaurant. Food was amazing. Plenty of choice and the prices are very reasonable.

Ordered on line asked for no onions in the curry it turned up with onions and precooked frozen chicken the one you get in farm foods a little curry sauce that was too watery also had pancake roll that were tastless would never order from there again it ended in the bin

Contemporary decor, super friendly owner and staff, excellent cuisine, good value for money. In the main high street.

Ordered the peking set meal for 2 and was disappointed. Small portions, dry food, no sauce in any of the dishes. Not nearly as good as we get back in Kent.

Absolutely love Kimbo's! Have heard so many great things, so gave it a try for a birthday dinner... it became a birthday banquet. The team were so friendly and made the effort to chat with us about our order to ensure it was just right. The portions are amazing value and such good quality, well cooked food. We will be back!

It looks a bit tired and when you climb the stairs, it looks like an abandoned restaurant, but get past this and the food is really nice overall. It tastes fresh and the portions are very generous. The smoked chicken starter and duck pancakes were very good indeed, as are most of the main dishes - the Kung Po chicken was a bit of a mystery (battered chicken with some sauce sparingly dribbled over). We will definitely use this place again and would recommend.
