Food is lovely, large portions, i have take- away often from here & cant fault it.

We ordered online which was quick and easy, receiving our food a little after the allotted time. We thoroughly enjoyed the 1/2 crispy duck pancakes alongside the salt, garlic and chilli king prawns. The prawn fried rice was nice, albeit under seasoned - no soy sauce, or chilli oil, for example.

Always friendly, always deliver when advised, only ever had one issue which they rectified instantly. I don’t mind supporting local businesses and this is one that definitely deserves it, 5 stars is absolutely deserved.

Haven’t been here for about a year cos food became bland and they never cared about existing customers but today back to there best absolutely stunning food house special curry, Singapore chow mien, barbecue ribs maybe they are trying to get customers back , the meal tonight certainly helped there cause beautiful

Oh my god... awesome food from here.We were recommended to it by Mike Lugia and it hasnt disappointed at all. Ordered a takeaway at 6pm for delivery. Were advised it would be 45 minutes to an hour and arrived inside both time slots. Great food as you will see from the photos excellent value for money . Will definitely use again and highly recommended.

I am really disappointed Having been here many times and I’ve rated it above the ones in Emsworth etc To be let down was very upsetting I ordered after walking in ….ok My food arrived in Literally 2 minutes HOW When I got home 5 minute drive the food was only warm and lacking in flavour The crispy chilli beef wasn’t it was soft It all felt like it had been cooked in the microwave 😡

After waiting an hour and a half, called restaurant, to be told would be another 10 minutes. Food arrived, chow mein luke warm, other items warm, not hot or to temperature. Ordered Singapore noodles , not given just mixed noodle. Very disappointed, didn't call restaurant as was a pre mothers day meal that my son brought for me.

We ordered takeaway, incredibly good value for money. Easily the best Asian cuisine I’ve eaten in the area. Good portion sizes and the dishes aren’t drenched in oil either!

That was one of the worst take out We have had in years. Satay chicken: no taste of peanuts and the chicken was slimy . Chicken with Cashew nuts was mostly vegetables. Tasteless and again the chicken didn’t taste of being freshly cooked and again artificial. Husbands Kung Po chicken avoid. Horrible. Would we go back ….. never

Went to order a takeaway, We usually always get a delivery but thought we’d stop in and order on the way home. Pulled up in the car park to see one of the chefs urinating up against the wall at the back door that leads onto the car park. Safe to say we continued on home and cooked our own dinner. We will not order from here again.

I would not recommend this place to anyone their food is disgusting it came out cold and i found a fly in ny chicken chow main the atmosphere was horrible their staff is extremely rude and arrogant . I also heard some extremely racist comments made . They were vile against their staff members when i was waiting for my food i also got really bad food poison from here would not recommend to anyone .

The supervisor sam is very rude to his staff which I think is disgusting what even worse I had food poisoning from the horrible chicken fried rice my whole meal was disgusting would never recommend to anyone as there staff are rude and the food was disgusting but there was one young lady round bout 15-16 on the counter who was very beautiful and lovely which the supervisor and another member off staff was being absolutely vile and I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone

Guy running front of house has an enormous attitude with how he talks to staff but also customers. Just dont want to use here anymore , good food but 3 times now order has been wrong and don't get to eat it hot

Very disappointed with last evening's delivery. Ribs sauce was not up to expectations, spring rolls were not full. Satay chicken tasted like BBQ ribs. Dictated by him. I had to eat my meal listening to him moaning.

I warn you never eat the chips from here, they look and taste like they are batched cooked, then left to cool down, then when order is placed they are microwaved. They were dry hard tasteless. From my own experience I know the above is true as I have done it myself at home, only they did taste better at home. The chicken in the curry was cold, sauce was tasteless. On a plus the onions and peas were nice. I would seriously say don't if you thinking about order.

Just ordered for the first time. The staff were really friendly but the food was not good. Sweet & sour Chicken balls were the worst I have ever tasted. Overcooked and the texture was just not right. I also asked for egg fried rice and got plain white rice. The shreddded chilli chicken was also very chewy. One other thing, the satay sauce tastes more like a gravy than a satay sauce.

Great Chinese takeaway. Easy to order online, efficient and friendly delivery man. Great value for money as portion sizes are generous. We had black bean beef, kung po chicken, chicken curry and chow mien with chips and egg fried rice. Also got chicken balls which came with sweet and sour sauce. Complimentary prawn crackers. All tasted delicious. Only thing I would say was Kung Po chicken wasn’t as spicy as I am used to but was still tangy and sweet - great if you like it that way.

Mmm special chow mein, very disappointed its like no other special chow mein I've ever had, basically a salty plate of noodles, egg fried rice that looked boiled with hardly any egg as well !!!!

Ordered a take away from here as the place next door was closed on a Monday. Had a beef curry and fried rice, the food had no flavour and was very bland, the curry sauce was quite watery and the fried rice tasted of nothing. I won't be ordering from here again, stick to the takeaway next door, it's so much better.

We popped in here to get some food to take home, it never fails to be good it's one of the best places to eat, the food is always tasty and hot and it's not expensive, the staff are friendly

I've eaten in at Aroma many times before they closed due to covid (and sadly still are for eating in) and decided to order a takeaway delivery from here today. We ended up having to collect the food because the website said they couldn't deliver to the address even though it was less than 3 miles. We ordered Singapore vegetable vermicelli, sweet and sour pork balls, egg fried rice and beef with cashew nuts. We arrived about 15 minutes after ordering and the food wasn't quite ready so we waited a couple more minutes. We noticed that free Prawn crackers had been added to our order which was nice. Sadly on getting back with the food less than 10 minutes later, though it was very nice and tasty the food wasn't very hot. The meat inside the batter was pre cooked so I'd expected the pork balls to be piping hot straight from the frier but they were really only warm as was the beef dish and the rice. My friend enjoyed her noodles but I was quire disappointed especially as the prices here are a bit more than I pay at my usual takeaway. I probably won't order here again.

I was recommended to Aroma and my first order didn't disappoint, in fact, it was excellent! Tried something different on my 2nd order and was very disappointed! So, giving the benefit of the doubt, I re-ordered the excellent meal I had first ... and it was awful! I ordered early and it would seem they must have had leftover duck from last night and had re-fried it and sent it out to me. As for the "plum sauce" ... I have no idea what that was tbh ... it wasn't even plum coloured! But, on the plus side, the prawn crackers were crispy 🤷‍♀️

Went with previous reviews, food hot everything lovely except chips soon as opened bag just knew they wernt fresh and were recooked why oh why do Chinese takeaways do this...

Amazing food, big portions and absolutely delicious, never used takeaway before so nice pleasant surprise.

What a disappointment been using this Chinese since they opened, the last few Chinese have not been the same amd after last nigjts Chinese never again will I eat from there it was a wast of 35 pounds... it like all the food is precooked thenjust warmed up well not even warmed up our Chinese food was cold not just one dish all of them crispy duck was a let down spring onions were so dry like 5he cut them a week ago pancakes packaging soaked in grease from the duck oh just awful so after having a little pik at it all it all went in the bin

Love Aroma used them for years but when you forget the rice I’m not happy £4.80 to & can’t eat a curry without rice !!

The food is decent and usually correct. The last few times I have ordered from there it has been late which is quite frustrating.

Fresh & tasty. Cooked fresh so takes a while for your order to be delivered but the wait is worth it!! Great price, large portion size.

This time I pop in in this Chinese food and take it some food for take away . It was egg fried rice ,king prawn ball and shredded crispy chilli chiken and it was quite good rice bit dry need some flavour in to it was quite plane something was missing bit salt . King prawn balls amazing taste crispness and fresh prawn inside bad thing it was bit greasy. And for last shredded crispy chilli chiken amazing fresh and shredded crispy chilli chiken was very good not to spicy full flavour I will recommend to try shredder crispy chilli chicken can't go wrong if you choose this dish.

Missed my chicken curry which apparently I hadn’t ordered (I had but the order wasn’t read back or noted down correctly) was told I would have to pay and wait for cooking + driving time which would have meant the rest of the meal would have been cold. The mistake fell short on their end yet I was expected to pay and wait. So now I’m enjoying an egg fried rice, some prawn crackers and lots of water!!!

It's the best Chinese food in the area. The Roast pork is incredible. Large portions, excellent quality ingredients, fast service, and very reasonably priced. Don't bother looking for another Chinese, just order Aroma.

Singapore chow main was delicious as always and my son had the curry meal for one and loved it

We always use these guys, and food is always top drawer. Tonight they were obviously super busy and we collected the food. When we got home we discovered that they missed out some of our order! We tried to call them back and the line was engaged constantly. Literally, 10 mins later and there was a knock at the door, they had delivered the rest of order, apologised profusely(and gave us a few extra dishes)!!! There are not many restaurants that will do that, and as usual, the food was amazing!! Well done Aroma 😁👍👍👍

Due to unexpected delay out cooking plans for the night needed to be put on hold. Looked for something quick and easy and Aroma Oriental came up as a good local for a chinese takeaway. Simple to order and pay online, drive over from Esmworth, all ready and waiting for pick up, super simple. Chicken chow mein, Egg fried rice, Duck in plum sauce and Ginger pork with spring onions. All ingredients crisp and fresh, whole family said every dish was delicious, super happy random pick to end a long long day - will definitely order here again

Customer service is amazing. I ordered online and didn't want the free beer so the restaurant rung me and asked if I'd like a different option. Coke etc. I agreed a bottle of coke would be perfect and thanked him. He really didn't have to ring and ask if I wanted an alternative. Food arrived very well packaged and handed over by a very polite driver. I've ordered before and had amazing food and today was no different. A****

After following some of the great reviews, decided to order a take-away from here. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. The meat was dry, bland, chewy and presented on a bed of watery beansprouts (which were immediately disposed of!) .. majority of the take-away food was left un-eaten/disposed of. Wouldn’t recommend!

Again came back and even worse than last time. 2 portion of chips only half of 1 was edible. Rock hard, dry no potato inside at all. The best chilli chips are now covered in a brown crusty salt which they never used to be and is disgusting. Bbq sauce is also disgusting these days. What happened to aroma from before lockdown??

They told me it would be delivered under an hour, I e now been waiting nearly two hours. Would rather they were honest about the times as I have 3 children waiting for there dinner. So disrespectful and dishonest. I have phoned them twice. Both times been very rude and unhelpful and kept telling me it’s coming now! Will never order from these people again!

Best Chinese ive head in a long time.

Aroma Oriental deserves a 5 star rating without any doubt. The service and food is first class and they have never disappointed with the many orders that we've placed over the past year since we moved into our new home at the Bellway Brookvale development. Annoying the PO9 5FJ post code is still not recognised by Aroma Oriental's on line ordering system, and as a consequence every order has to be placed by phone and the only method of payment is cash only. This has become real tiresome, as who in this day and age pays only with cash!!! ... Aroma Oriental please update your location services and accept PO9 5FJ as a location.

We do not order takeaway very often. A few times a year. As we are in Emsworth we would opt for new china, but this was a special treat. We looked to order from the Beijing Palace. Only to find it had closed. So I did a search and Aroma came highly recommended. We thought, let's give this a go. We ordered one of each thing we all like. EVERY SINGLE ONE, DELICIOUS. THOROUGHLY ENJOYED BY ALL. 5 STARS. Later that evening, my stepdads birthday and the day we buried him, on his 40th birthday.. we realised, that it was a Friday. Reminiscing that he would pop to havant to collect his curry. We googled the address, low and behold, the aroma, although name changed. Is the very same place he collected his Chinese, every Friday. Fate? Perhaps. But the food and delivery was spot on. Will definitely order again.

4th feb 2022, what happened to Aroma? Won tons 1/10 chips with garlic + chilli not as good as they used to be. Prawns in ginger ok if you also like a plate of onion.

When our usual Chinese restaurant closed down, during the COVID-19 lockdown we looked for somewhere else who could match them. After reading recommendations we tried this one. So pleased we did as the food is amazing, we are vegetarians and cannot fault the quality, flavours or cost of the meals. We have only had takeaway deliveries so far as still reluctant to eat out. Great portions too.

Ordered for collection. First time we have used this Chinese due to our local being closed for a week. Great food, quick to prepare, tasty food at a good price. What's not to love! Lovely customer service at collection and they checked the order again, before I paid. Will definitely use again.

I have just ordered for the first time a takeaway from Aroma. Now then lets review this and as is my custom we will keep it simple. Awesome, fantastic, excellent, superb and any other word you want to add for damn fine food. We had the special chop suey for the missus (aka the boss) a side of crispy duck, the crispy fried beef and a side of egg fried rice. Everything was amazing and probably the best chinese takeaway I have had ever. Delivery was requested for 18:30 and the delivery fella arrived at 18:29 :) In all honesty when getting home deliveries it just plain does not get any better than this.

The best Chinese takeaway in the area by far. Having ordered excellent food a number of times before from this restaurant, we pre-ordered today (Chinese New Year) and the food arrived warm on the exact minute requested! All dishes we've tried - including set menus and numerous other dishes have been great. Prices are competitive for the area. Online ordering system on their website works perfectly. They even gratified our request for some fortune cookies which weren't on the menu - excellent service!

Our local "go-to" Chinese takeaway was closed, so we tried Aroma last night and we are so glad that we did! Excellent food, well cooked and not too oily, friendly service over the phone and reasonable prices. Don't think we'll go anywhere else again!

As you will see from other reviews I've been using aroma for years and liked it. Recently its changed. Has it got new owners? I usually have chow mein and it like eating boiled noodles which are then dried. There is no sauce and no taste. This has happened every time recently so I'm assuming its deliberate. I wish the old recipe could come back

We ordered beef chow mein, the beef was like tough old boots and it was inedible, I just ate the noodles but that was not nice, they were too dry. My partner ordered special chow mein but ended up with a chef's special chow mein, which he could not even eat as it was absolutely disgusting. The veg in it was so hard and uncooked the pawns were hard and not sufficiently cooked,as goes for the meat it was disgusting as was the hole meal and to cap it all of you actually short changed us by £4.00.

Ordered special chow mien ended up with chef’s special noddles it was not nice at all not happy with this meal also ordered a beef chow main the beef was Tough as old boots was not very nice should just thrown it away what a waste of money the only good thing was the Prawn crackers will not be going there again not been there before Disgusted wasted money was looking for to a nice take way the veg was hard so could not eat that ordered this on the 29/12/2020

Have bought food from here for the last few years.The last three times the food quality seems vastly different to what it used to be.All the sauces are watery and lacking in flavour. The satay sauce was like weak chicken gravy.The rest of the food seemed very poor quality and was tasteless.Have they change suppliers?Something is defiantly different.Overall, hugely disappointing, we felt ripped off and unhappy.Will be looking elsewhere for further Chinese food.Any suggestions?

The aroma Is by far the best Chinese takeaway in all of Havant, the prices are reasonable but the food is what is brilliant about this place.

Ordered take away, for delivery. Informed just under 45 @ Checkout. About 12 minutes later, steaming hot meal delivered to my door. Usual excellent quality food. Piping Hot and generous portions, enough left over for Lunch tomorrow. The Best Chinese takeaway, as restaurant currently closed, for miles around!!
