The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South East

I ordered a plate of three fresh dumplings, 12 dumplings. They were not big in size and tasted average. The key was that some of the skins were not cooked yet. A small plate of stir-fried pork. The meat was cut into different thicknesses and there were only three small slices of green pepper. It was the first time I knew that the stir-fried pork did not come with side dishes. The portion size and taste of the dishes were not worth the price, and the cooking was so perfunctory that I was convinced. They even charged a 10% service fee when checking out. I won’t come again next time.

Outstanding food and great service and prices

We use them regularly....admittedly not working our way through the menu as we have favourites. My wife is Chinese.....if she says the food is authentic, I'm more than happy that my judgement was sound. Lovely flavours and moderately priced.

Takeaway early . Worst 1/4 duck . So fatty . Very bland salt and chilli chicken . Kung po chicken pale and tastless

We had travelled from The North to visit family in Kent and we were hopeful this Chinese take away would be great….unfortunately it wasn’t ! The lemon chicken was good, however the chicken balls had that ‘overused oil twang ‘ and the seafood Thai red curry was poor. The egg fried rice was dry and the prawn crackers were past their best. All in all I wish I would have used an App to provide our Chinese meal. I would not recommend .

Wongs is my favourite Chinese.Always greeted with a smile whether i am going in or just walking past.Food has always been fantastic and yummy,i can't fault it for taste,and service is quick.

We were staying in the area and found this good Chinese with a few extra dishes we never see in our local Chinese, it was nice to have the chicken katsu curry with a pad thai amongst other dishes.

I lived in Hong Kong for almost a decade and this place takes me right back. Proper Chinese food - you really need to have the Crispy Char Siu Pork Puff Pastry and the salted egg custard buns are both really good and inventively presented.

Food was piping hot and tasty. Not the best sweet and sour, a little too sweet but other sauces were good

The food was absolutely amazing we had a fair share of different meals and all were outstanding! The service was very friendly and welcoming and the overall atmosphere of the restaurants was very cosy. Would highly recommend !

A must visit while you’re in Hastings!! Really good food, good portions! We always have to visit when we are in the area- miss it when we arent. Give it a go! The chicken chow mein & gyozas are incredible
