Amazing authentic Chinese food. All the dishes were very high quality and the staff were so friendly, amazing service!

Very delicious Chinese food in the heart of Windsor very near the castle and located in a centuries-old building. We had egg fried rice, white rice, beef with green onions, and sweet and sour pork. This was a good portion for two. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

What an amazing little find in the back streets of Windsor! The customer service was outstanding, Ying really went the extra mile. Food was out of this world, you will never find a more authentic Chinese than here. They have an extensive Vegan menu which was absolutely delicious and I’m not vegan! When talking to Ying you can feel her passion for the food and creating delicious dishes for her customers. She was warm, open and friendly and welcoming of all feedback whether it be negative or positive. You can tell that Ying strives for continued improvement, it was wonderful to see someone take so much pride in their product and customer experience. Thank you Ying, to you and your team! I can’t wait to return and this time it’s Vegan all the way!

My recent visit to this charming restaurant, just opposite the castle on Cobble Street, was nothing short of spectacular. The location’s historical significance, set against the backdrop of Windsor’s oldest buildings (dating back to 1423), added a unique charm to our dining experience. The culinary highlight of the evening was their signature dishes - “Three Treasures on the Earth” and the Olive Vegetable Green Beans. Each dish was a delightful journey through authentic flavors, perfectly capturing the essence of traditional cooking. The story of a secret passage leading directly to Windsor Castle, as shared by our friendly server, added an element of mystique and excitement to our evening. Speaking of the service, it was impeccable. Our server was exceptionally warm and attentive, making our party of four feel right at home on a bustling Thursday night amidst the lively Spring Festival celebrations. Sitting near the window, surrounded by a joyous crowd, the restaurant’s ambiance was inviting and vibrant. This place isn’t just about great food; it’s about creating memorable experiences. We left with content hearts and a promise to ourselves to return. For anyone visiting Windsor, this is a gastronomic gem not to be missed!

We were staying in Windsor for the 19th + 20th of January.On Friday 19th after reading previous revues we booked a table for two in the evening,upon arrival the were a number of staff painting the walls and chairs of the ground floor.We were ushered upstairs where there were four people about to leave after eating. We ordered our food and I had a diet coke and my wife a soda water. The food arrived and I must say was pretty average but no complaints it was just the same as any other Chinese restaurant.When my drink arrived it was a can of diet coke unopened and just left on the table,we finished our meal and paid for the meal which in my view was very expensive for what we had. As we left the majority of the staff were huddled around a table with lots of what looked like delivery notes. When I later looked at the bill I saw that I had been charged £3:95 for the can of coke and the same for the glass of soda.The coke I estimate had a 400 per cent mark up (disgusting profiteering). I don't mind paying for good food in restaurants but please what a rip off. I am not surprised there weren't any other customers in the restaurant at those prices,it would appear that the people of Windsor have the sense to stay away. Therefore if you want pretty average food very poor service and exorbitant prices this is the place for you,ME NEVER AGAIN.

So happy we found this place on a Sunday evening in Windsor! The prawns in black bean sauce and tofu with seafood were both outstanding- super fresh and flavorful, with veggies and without a lot of oil. Highly recommend!

Went for my husbands birthday. And my 90 year old father in law. The place was empty, the staff were unfriendly, wooden, and more concerned with the take away food. The starters were warm, not very appetising, no complimentary prawn crackers. Cob webs everywhere, toilets were grose. The staff were rowing in the main, but empty restaurant. When I brought it to their attention they stopped and gave us some attention Too little, too late A bottle of wine was not good enough. Do not go here, it was not good. We paid good money 165 quid for 3. Very very disappointed.

This restaurant was amazing the food is delicious and the service was great. Our waiter, Ying, told us about the history and the built up of the restaurant, which made our night even better and funny. Would definitely recommend this to others as it is one of the best Chinese restaurants.

We weren't expecting to find authentic Chinese food in Windsor, but we did. When you see signs claiming "Best Chinese Food", especially in a small locale - you always view such things with a degree of skepticism. We ordered several different items, and all were well-executed. There were some minor adaptations of dishes which appeared to take advantage of the available produce - all of which were well done.
