Always great food without exception. Good portion sizes, always friendly staff. Every bag now checked for right food, upgraded to 5 stars all around. Have not been to another Chinese takeaway in years. Google is asking me to recommend dishes but I love them all. Hot and sour soup, and duck in black pepper sauce are my current favourites 🥰

Moved to the area last year, and came across a Facebook post where someone asked which is the best Chinese in the area. It was overwhelmingly New China One, so I thought I’d give it a go. I’ve not going to bother trying other places, as I know for sure that I won’t get better than this. All the dishes are great, decent portions and very well priced. Don’t want to be that guy, but I moved from central London where it took me a few years to find the right Chinese, and these guys are up there with the best of them (Park Chinois aside!).

Staying in Maidenhead overnight and wanted to have a nice meal. I find that often Chinese meals are often hit and miss with how nice they are. But I can honestly say that is one of the best Chinese I’ve had in a long time. The portions were big and came in handy pots to eat from. Set dinner M5 and special set dinner 2 would highly recommend and super prices for what you get. Thank you for a delicious meal!

Just had awful food pork was raw ..wont be going there again

Our goto Chinese food place in maidenhead. Chili chicken and king prawn Hong Kong style being favourites. Also meals for 1 are better than most.

The food is reliably tasty, fresh and hot. I’ve been getting take away from New China 1 for 11 eleven years now, and the they are excellent.

Best Chinese food In Berkshire. Been using these guys for 4 years. Never an issue and always enjoyed the food. Would definitely recommend.

I have been working my way through the menu over the last few months. Rarely do you come across a take away that blows your mind! But this one is exceptional. The food is next level and customer service is beyond fantastic. Nothing but praise! Keep up the good work guys xx

My daughter and son in law got married on friday this weekend. We had a delivery service for 70 people with many different dishes to cover everyone s favorite dish. Food arrived promptly, in large portions, very hot and to the best quality. Guests loved the idea and many asked where it was delivered from. A massive thank to all staff and management for all you did to make the reception so easy for us all.

Get a takeaway from here regularly, best in Maidenhead area by far. Only problem is they only take cash and who has that these days?! I also wish they would do crispy noodles. But that’s just a personal preference. Everything always tastes great, and usually have enough leftovers for the next day.

Unfortunately not at all impressed 😕 😞. Have had some good one's.. but at least the last two have been delivered late,cold and not got everything I ordered...definitely not going back🤬😠😡🤬😠😡

A shame really, as I had a fantastic Beef Choi Main last week. This one not bad but very chewy Beef. The chips were all side cuttings horrible, Chilly Beef had no sauce within it was bone dry nothing in it tasteless.

Always a lovely takeaway from here, we collect so available normally within about 20 mins. Food always good quality.

Awful experience... We ordered and were told to wait 30 mins but ended up waiting over an hour. When the food arrived it was rubbery and dry aswell as bland and tasteless prawn toasts... definatly will not be coming back, golden phoenix is amazing if your looking for a good chinese.

For many years we have been ordering our Chinese food from here, having tried almost all the other similar take-away services. The flavours at China One are great and the prices reasonable - so we always over-order to ensure we have leftovers which make a great lunch the next day!

We usually use this restaurant for take away and usually it is great but we ordered at peak time this evening (Saturday) and the food was not fresh or as well cooked! I suspect they pre-cook certain foods to cater for busy times! Unfortunately we will try another around the corner next time or order later in the evening and hope to get freshly cooked food!

Always get our Chinese from here. Amazing food, fast delivery, amazing staff. We have become regulars at this Chinese. Amazing 10/10

Outstanding food and very tasty in the 3 years ive been going. My go too when i need a pick me up! food is also affordable and the service is always on point. Defiantly my fav chinese take away.

I have order 3 times here and 3 times I must have got someone else's dinner! They are like a Marx brothers' movie "order what you want, we will deliver what we think you meant to order" and if you order too many things, we will freak out and send you the same dish several times instead of one of each. That is too complex. On a positive note it is like Forest Gamp analogy of the box of chocolates:you never know what are you going to get....

We have been using NC1 for 10+ years. The food never disappoints. Always hot and fresh. Good portions. Recommend the salt & pepper squid (my son’s favourite treat) 10 out of 10. Also try beef and black bean sauce, and my family love the lemon chicken.

Food was reasonably priced, really hot when served can't beat the taste or the service

Having moved away I had not eaten the lovely food from here for some time, so tonight I decided to reacquaint myself and order dinner. Absolutely delicious with generous portions and all cooked to perfection. I am looking forward to becoming a regular again!

We had a lovely meal from here on new year's Eve. They warned us the waiting time would be over an hour so we are fine with that. We ordered a wide range and enjoyed them all. Will certainly be going back

This take away looks pretty basic when you walk in but don't let the looks deceive you. The food here is excellent. Good quality food and decent portion sizes too. We travel past our local Chinese to buy from here - its definitely worth it.

Good quality food for a slightly high price

Ordered for delivery on 20/07/20, delivery done on phone and only 30min wait which was good. Unfortunately some of the food was cold and had to microwave. Food portions were much smaller. I did use to say this was the best Chinese in Maidenhead but now I don’t know?. Food was ok but feel it has gone down hill.

1st time ordering from here. Great service from Alan on the phone and great food. Will definitely be coming back, our usual Chinese is shut so we've been looking forward to this! I'm pretty sure this is our new favourite Chinese! 🎉😉😁 Jade & Beau.

We have been going to China One for about 3 years now and the every time the food blows us away. To sum it up, China one is an amazing local takeaway and I highly recommend. since it is Quick, tasty and value for money. Thanks for staying open at this time. the food seems dry not enough sauce. the meats they use are frozen. the son that answers the phone is unhelpfull and rude. very expensive for the amount you get. not a pleasant takeaway by any means.

Yeah, not a bad delivered takeaway.But... the spring roll was soggy, limp and tasted of soap.Sometimes it the small things that leave the lasting impression.

Started using China one in December. Will not use any other restaurant now. Superb although slightly more expensive it's worth every penny.

Great Chinese food every time, my favorite beef curry and egg fried rice, simple and delicious, its very popular so it can be very busy especially at weekends, so order early and check your order.

Best option for Chinese food in Maidenhead by far. Really good spicy options... recommend the Indonesian Chilli Chicken, Kung Po Chicken and Singapore Noodles.

One star is probably being to generous... order food at 7:30 was told half hour wait to pick up.... 9:10 food still not ready... planned a family take away night to now have to go into town and get different food.... if it’s going to be a long wait we wouldn’t have minded if we were told!!!

I’ve been using China One for over 12 years and I have always had amazing food. Fresh, tasty, huge variety, excellent value for money and the friendliest people you could wish to meet. I recommend the house special chow mien, ribs in sauce, giant pancake roll and chilli chicken. Yum.

All I can say was that it was better than OK. Still the crispy shredded chilly beef is mostly fat not beef. I just cant find a great Chinese Delivery service any more.

Only ordered 2 things and they managed to get both wrong. When I went back and got the food I did actually order, it was mediocre and lukewarm. Won’t be going back and wouldnt recommend. Mr Leungs v reliable and down the road

Beef curry was warm, when it arrived, rice had a hair in it and was also warm, very rude lady when I asked for my money back. Took over an hour for me to get my money back. Never ordering from them again. This is not the first time either... Never consitant very disappointed

We have an occasional cheeky take away from here. We only live round ther corner, they are very quick and the food taste great. I love the chicken and black bean sauce!

Quick good quality Chinese for when you don't want to wait

Sold short - again. Got home to find out missing a portion of rice. This has happened before. My own fault for not checking.

Have used this Chinese takeaway for many years and is the best in Maidenhead. Delivery was quick 30 minutes and all correct ordered food was delivered hot. Nice food and big portions would recommend for others to use. You can collect your food or have it delivered. China one is takeaway only not a seating restaurant. Would order from again.

New china one has always been our Chinese of choice, they have always been reliable and the food delicious, we always love the bag of free prawn crackers. My favourite dish is deep fried chili chicken and is always ordered, the salt and pepper prawns are also delicious. Highly recommended.

The food is consistently great from this place. Probably amongst the best of the Chinese takeaways that I have been to. Friendly staff, and the delivery is on time, with the food still nice and hot. Decent range of dishes too.

So basically this evening me and my friend placed an order waited and hour and then rang back up to see if where the order is. To be told we needed to wait another half hour which was fine because the food is gorgeous. The half an hour was up and still no one coming. So I rang up again and too be told they cancelled it!!!! Are you having a laugh!!! When in that did I tell them to cancel it. It's ridiculous! And asked them what they were going todo about it and they hung up!!!! RUDE

the current Chef has consistently produced very good quality food. We especially like the indonesian chili chicken, the vegetables in black bean sauce, honey spare ribs and Hong Kong S&S; prawns. Not too expensive either so treat yourself !

China One has been established for many years now and has proved to be the go-to Chinese restaurant for locals. The food is of consistent quality every visit and gives everything you would expect from a chines restaurant.The portion sizes are really generous and we are always left with far too much left over. You can phone in advance and collect your order if you don't fancy waiting. Its only a small place with only a few seats and at times it can get busy.With the recent surge in 'all you can eat' Chinese restaurants this far surpasses their bland, warm, reheated food. This isn't fine dining but it is possibly the best Chinese locally.

Week in week out, China One fail to disappoint with its wide range of menu choices to suit all tastes. With free delivery within a 2 mile radius, food always arrives warm with a friendly smile.

Food is excellent! it's our local chinese and it's one of the best we've ever had food from. Just be mindful that they get very busy at the weekend so make sure you leave plenty of time to either order or collect food!

And we consciously didn't say best chinese "take away", as it is exceeding the standards of the majority of the proper restaurants. Seriously. We keep driving few miles there even after we have moved from White Waltham to Binfield - this is how good it is!
