Great meal ,great value, very clean and smart, brilliant staff , spotless facilities. Used fixed menu for our visit, best crispy beef i have ever had.

Dreadful food, blande dry and chewy ..chicken balls shocking bits of dry chewy chicken !! worst I've ever tasted .

Best Chinese takeaway in North Manchester. Large portions, piping hot, lovely staff. Salt and Pepper King Prawns are the best! Wouldn't order from anywhere else!

By far and away the best chinese you will find for authentic homestyle food. Yes it is a small cafe with only 10 covers but you will go a long long way to find anywhere serving homemade dumplings. As well as the dumplings we ordered har gau, and pork bao followed by Shanghai fillet steak, duck in plum sauce and Singapore vermicelli. All were excellent. My boys said they want to go back again soon. High praise indeed.

mak's kitchen is a very small little family run business that you could easily walk past. i went to the one on rose lane a few weeks ago an it was very posh looking but overprices and the food very basic. i had parked my car by this little takeway s decided to try her and WOW it was briliant. i got so much food for £21 and it was asoutely delicious. you must give it a try and you wll see what i mean. would NEVER go anywhere else.

I live around the corner from here and despite trying other Chinese takeaways this is hands down the best. My friend from liverpool always loves to order in from here when she visits too. The hot and sour soup is delicious as are the ribs, crispy chilli beef, salt and pepper chicken and the sweet and sour chicken. Can’t beat it!

Obviamente no era el cliente que realmente querían - yo era un comedor individual - así que me sentaron en una mesa horrible en una esquina cerca de la cocina. La señora que trató conmigo fue súper antipática hasta el punto de que me vi tentada a irme. No lo hice porque tenía hambre. Un par de servidores eran más amigables, pero en su mayor parte ella estableció el tono. Tenía algunas costillas de repuesto que estaban bien y luego un plato de pollo / ajo que también estaba bien (glutinous describiría mejor la salsa) y también tomé una cerveza pequeña. Pagué £ 40 que imo no es muy valioso, especialmente dada la falta de compromiso del personal. No volveré a ir - pero estaba lleno, así que tal vez las mesas de más de uno obtengan una mejor experiencia - quién sabe🤷‍♀️

I was reassured by the price of the food example - £9.20 for Spare ribs, it was a lot more than I usually pay I thought this must be high quality and spot on but no it was OK at best.

First time we've been here for a while and the standard of food is still excellent. Had the early bird menu which was good value. Highly recommended !!

I am so sad this resturannt is permantley closed. It was the most homely place and the family who ran it were amazing. Food was always delicious too. Wish you all the luck in the world. Irene and my Late Mum Audrey.

Had a takeaway this evening King Prawn sweet and sour and crispy won ton. Unfortunately, it was vile. The prawns were way overcooked, impossible to chew and the wonbton were the same. The sauce was tasteless. This used to be such a good little takeaway but tonight the food was inedible.

Really terrible food. I bought some chicken wings which I physically couldn’t eat as they were slimey, taste horrid and bad quality meat. The food is also hugely overpriced. Really unfortunate - I wish the food was good as it’s a great spot.

One of the most Underrated places local, great selection of dishes and all cooked to perfection, definitely worth the price. Try the "Tagorashi Lamb chops"
