Fourth visit here and I love this restaurant. Spring rolls followed by vegetable chow mein and finished with biscoff cheesecake. Delicious and very reasonable – my friend loved it so much she has already made a return visit. See you again soon!

Crazy little place! Cheap and canny it’s not a fancy posh gaff it’s an old front room but it’s good. Good atmosphere good service and good portions.

Food excellent as always but we are regular customer spending between £40 to £60 each Time and they are now charging for prawn crackers, not impressed

Got a take away which was prepared speedily and was plentiful, well cooked and really tasty. Most impressed with the staff who were friendly, efficient and very professional. In particular when dealing with a tricky customer in a calm and understated way.

Absolutely shocking food came cold. Asked for egg fryed rice with extra egg didn’t even get extra egg so rang up and didn’t do nothing would not recommend food was hard and felt like it was in fat to long

This is not my first time to My Shanghai, but it is the first time I have been in about a decade. The food was great, no complaints there at all. We had a reservation for the start of dinner service and the table we sat at was in the far corner next to the window. The window was open and felt a bit drafty. The server did offer to close it but there was evidence of a condensation problem as there was mould up the walls and around the windows so we didn't want to have it closed for this reason and didn't think it would be too bad. Boy were we wrong. We should've asked for it to be closed as our food went cold very quickly. As our meal went on, we did also think it was odd that they sat a reservation table in the corner by an open window at the beginning of dinner service when it wasn't too busy. The mould on the walls was also a tad bit odd putting as it did look like it had been cleaned previously, but not recently. Again, everything else was great just the atmosphere could be definitely improved with addressing the condensation issue and cleaning the mould.

Can’t believe after all these years of the young lady who used to serve you with attitude from hell they managed to find somebody older with the worst attitude from hell I still can’t understand why this takeaway is open food and service and attitude from the staff is absolutely disgusting putting the bin all my meal what a waste of £27

The worst Chinese food I have ever experienced . The food was tasteless and ended up in the bin. There was nothing about the food that could’ve been enjoyed. Got a kids meal which they left and had to do sandwiches for them instead
