DISGUSTING! Have been ordering meals from here for over 15 years. Placed our usual order last night and had it delivered. The Singapore fried rice was revolting. The ingredients had changed. It had no spice to the dish, the beef was fatty, it was greasy and tasted bland. The chicken fried rice was no better. The chips were hard and tasted dry. The curry sauce was gloopy, thick and bland. It's such a shame they have changed the chef as this takeaway has always had good reviews. WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN.

Payed 25 pound for absolutely nothing. Worse Chinese I’ve ever had. Portions sizes for price wudnt even feed child. Cold. Hard. Resembled cardboard. Missing items. Rude unhelpful argumentative on phone refused to solve any issues

Best in the area. Great portion sizes. Originally started to use the Welcome Inn when we found out the previous owners of the Evergreen at Fram were here, they have since retired but the food is still great. Recommended

Ordered tea here for the first time. Food was lovely and good size portions. However the young girl behind let my experience now as soon as I walk through door she wanted to know what I wanted before I was allowed to browse menu then she spent most of the time playing or talking on her phone ignoring customers

The chips with batter were great; one portion would easily feed two, service was quick and friendly. I’m told the spam fritter was delicious, the batter lovely and crisp, so I assume the same would be true of fish. Avoid the pies, however. Microwaved to such an extent the pastry was like titanium. Except for one small spot in the middle of the lid. Literally inedible. I would likely have given this an “Ecellent” had I ordered something other than a pie.

It's gone down-hill foodwise but the owner still remains as rude as ever. Peking sauce and curry sauces both thin and made with uncooked spice powders.

Tried to order by phone asked as advised on the menu to ask about allergies as the wife is gluten intolerant the girl who answered the phone asked the chef if there was a dish she could have the answer was no Impression I got is that she couldn’t be bothered phoned the fortune palace Chinese put them selves out to accommodate

Shocking absolutely shocking. I won't even begin to tell you what its like . But please spend £50.00 somewhere else because to be honest worst takeaway I have ever had , they could offer me the £50.00 back in credit, but I will never eat the food again , disgusting

Been ordering from here for 2 years now. Food is always absolutely to die for! Never once have we ever had an issue and the delivery is always quick and on time! I’ve never actually been able to find a Chinese as good no matter where I go. Most Chinese curry sauces always tend to be too watery, whereas from here it’s always bang on. I highly recommend the salt & pepper chicken as it’s just way too good!
