The house special fried rice?...the rice was not cooked enough, hard in the middle, chicken chow mein...the chicken didn't taste right, sweet and sour chicken batter balls were soooooo over cooked, batter was hard as rock, even the chicken inside was hard and the prawn crackers were stale soft like they were 2 days old,but hey.... the sweet and sour sauce was ok.....HAHAHAHA no1 chineese takeaway? WHAT A JOKE.......THIS WAS THE WORST CHINEESE I'VE EVER HAD,SHAMEFULL......the delivery driver? 1st class service from him.

Best Chinese in Spennymoor, not the cheapest but excellent quality and quantity. Also extensive menu.

Not good, chicken tastes strange and large hair found in fried rice. Waste of money, could not eat this.

I hadn’t had a Chinese takeaway for months, simply because I was unable to find one that I liked since I moved to the North East. Thank goodness I’ve found one that I’m very happy with. My food arrived hot, on time and with generous portions and, more importantly, the fried rice wasn’t overwhelmingly flavoured with a gravy mix which some Chinese takeaway’s use. Well done The Yellow Dragon now that I’ve found you I shall be a regular 😀

Had two meals form this establishment, and I've got to say, absolute rubbish both times, if only the food was as good as the delivery!!

Can’t describe how bad the food was, my wife got sweet & sour balls and the sauce was literally jelly. It was awful. I got satay chicken and same again, bits of chicken in a gloopy satay sauce. Chips were meh, and the prawn crackers tasted weird, can’t put my finger on what it was tho. Wasted £20, never again unfortunately, shame as it used to be the one of the best.
