La entrega se retrasó un poco pero la comida valió la pena. Lo mejor que mi novia y yo hemos experimentado al alcance de Eltham (ordenado fuera de Just Eat).

Apparently this place only delivers via Just Eat. We were frustrated because we did not receive any update and the telephone number seemed to be of a pizzeria....But then the food arrived at the right time and we enjoyed everything. The only comment is that the dough of the dumpling could have been cooked longer and was a bit thick. Satisfied in general, we'll probably order again.

We love Woo Lot 🧡 and always eat here when in Walthamstow for a visit. 🥢Such a good atmosphere as you can hear the food being cooked as you sit at your table. Great food, we love the Seafood Rice, Mixed meat rice, Sweet and Sour chicken Hong Kong Style and the tea 😋😋 plus many more......

We dined in with our young son and ordered off their set menu £20pp and chose options. We were told there was no children’s menu so thought if we ordered extra bits for our child it should be enough. The main meal arrived on one plate - a small portion and not great quality compared to takeaways we purchased say a year or so ago. If we had seen the rest of the menu on the back page we would have ordered individual portions of food. Starters were old and not fresh - clearly reheated and quality was poor. We had to get a portion of chips from across the road on the way home for my son to actually eat dinner. Service was stroppy and everything we asked for was an extra charge with attitude - we were very unhappy with the food at £70 bill. We opted not to pay the service charge as it was all shocking and unhelpful. Wine served was a cheap Hardys bottle of Shiraz - apple juice was not fresh either, just concentrate cheap stuff. Really sad experience and a waste of money.

Amazing food, best Chinese around. Hot, fresh and delicious. And just to clarify, those saying that the chicken is a weird texture and looks raw, it absolutely is NOT raw. They use a technique called “velveting” this is what gives it the soft slippy texture, it’s done by using baking soda and gives it a slight batter effect. I’ve ordered from here for more than 10 years and never ever have we had food poisoning

Let me start by saying, the decor and design is gorgeous- but I wouldn’t go here if you’re all about food. My friends and I were met with pleasant hosts, very polite and welcoming. We had been offered a lovely, spacious, corner table, though our view was restricted slightly by pillars so we couldn’t see the entertainment as clearly. In general, the energy and atmosphere of the venue certainly made us feel elegant. The food service was prompt, and the dishes on the menu seemed decadent. We noticed that the dishes themselves did not come with sides, like rice or noodles so remember to order those separately. My friends chose the Szechuan chicken, the satay chicken, one of the wagyu beef dishes and I chose the lamb cutlets. The sides we ordered were fried rice and spicy noodles. For a Chinese style restaurant, we were very disappointed with the flavours. Most dishes (as we shared) had one note of flavour running through. There was no depth or dimension to the dishes and some were just overpowering with one nuance. Even the dim sum flavour was bland, which we had gotten as a starter. The wine we chose to taste off the menu was lovely, so I would recommend getting a few starters and wine at this particular place, perhaps on a date night. The food aside, the immersive entertainment was fantastic. The shows ran every 15 mins and as we went on the 2nd November, they were Halloween themed. We had characters walking around coming up to our tables and interacting with us, which was impressive. While the wait staff were generally lovely, they seemed a bit overwhelmed. Two of my friends had ordered mocktails, and we had ordered an extra portion of rice but these never came but they did not add these to the bill either. I would recommend being very clear with the order when the staff come to take it down. I would visit here again, but only for the entertainment and maybe a few drinks.

Where to start? 1. Really rude on the phone 2. When we called we asked for a booking for the bottomless dim sum deal which they made. arrived there and were told they didn’t do it anymore… even though they’d booked us for it the day before 3. Prices were different on the bill to what they were in the menu, ended up at £80 for like 5 things 4. 4£ for a cup of green tea, expected a pot or tea leaves. It arrived and it’s literally just a mug and teabag. That’s fine! But not for £4 5. We ordered the vegetarian dumpling platter. When served they repeated that they were vegetarian, despite obviously being prawn. when we checked with another waiter he accepted they were prawn. 6. All the dumplings on the mixed platter tasted the same, and was £18 for like 6. Genuinely couldn’t tell if they’d either given us 6 of the same or if the fillings were just all bland. 7. We ordered vegetation Dan Dan noodles, when they arrived they told us again they were vegetarian with mock meat. Should have known after the dumplings but didn’t believe they’d serve us meat twice after we’d already complained... We only found out the fake mock meat was actually pork from the bill! 8 Photos of Chairman Mao all over the walls downstairs???, just a bit weird! Avoid
