We had the buffet option which was circa £20 each. Waste of money Spare ribs was like sucking on concrete Squid had funky taste. Tough as leather Duck was super dry Very disappointing This was my wife’s 50th To top off I was going to try chicken curry How could that go wrong Well it didn’t turn up after 20 minutes. Joke Decided to give up. Asked for bill. Let them know we weren’t happy. All of the was clearly ignored when handed the full bill by same lady She said would need to complain to manager Came back with initially 15 off bill Which would have been kind off ok Then she said 5 Absolute shambles. Will never go there again. Not happy

Second time they have let us down, won’t get another chance. New Year had a booking for 8 including 2 children booked early because of children, they phoned and asked us to go an hour later which we couldn’t do. Tonight we booked for 4, at 7:30 got there on time ordered drinks that they got wrong. We sat there for 25 minutes and no one came to take our food order, yet other people came in after us and they ordered and had food brought out. In the end we paid for our drinks and left, not enough staff to serve a full restaurant, they need to spend a bit more and employ more staff on busy nights. Needless to say we won’t be going back.

Food is always great! They do the best satay sauce in London and I could eat their chicken and sweetcorn soup all day, everyday! The staff are also lovely!

I have ordered food from this disgraceful restaurant via Uber eats, the food was absolutely vile! The crispy aromatic duck had already been shredded and looks chewed up, the salt and pepper prawns were battered with the shell still on them and the legs included…. The chicken balls had been deep fried until they were burnt and soggy the vermicelli we ordered came wrong was the complete opposite we asked for…. And when I had contacted the restaurant the receptionists response was colder than the food that came, very I’ll manored, unhelpful and unresponsive to any complaints I had

Delicious food served in reasonable portions, buffet was lovely, perfect for small groups, staff are very professional and friendly, food is served within a reasonably amount of time 😊

Gone downhill. Been coming for over 20 years on and off - service is now really bad. Quick to bring you wine and your bill but when you ask for a glass of water the request gets ignored despite asking no less than 6 times! They also don’t bring food items that you have made a point of ordering. Only 2 staff serving the whole restaurant on a busy Sunday afternoon, my time with New Ming is done unfortunately 😞

Generous portions of hot and sour soup and Singapore vermicelli noodles. Both dishes bland sadly, lacking in seasoning for the soup and curry powder and protein in the noodles. Noodle / protein ratio was approx 90/10 sadly. I’ve had better .

Really nice staff, food and evening with my wife and boys. Thoroughly enjoyed eating here. Recommended

Had a deliver. Did really like this restaurant only ever had delivery but had a meal on friday. Very very disappointed. Arrived quickly which was a suprise but the food was tasteless, we normal love the following Chefs rice, crispy chilli beef, vermicelli, chicken noodles, spring rolls and s&s chicken ball. Plus a curry sauce. We had a guest. Non of use liked it. We normal order at a weekend, but this was friday so dont know if different chef. The website was different to the last time I ordered so may of changed hand.

Booked a table of 12 for my daughters birthday. We were shown to our table promptly & greeted nicely by Vicky but that’s where it went down hill… Another waitress came over & took our drinks order, we waited quite a while for the drinks to arrive & hadn’t been given any menu. Once the drinks arrived we still hadn’t been given a menu & had to ask for one. We then had to find someone to take our food order. The 2 waitress’ were rude & miserable. Food was bought out in dribs & drabs, the waitress would bang thru us to get to the middle of table & threw down the food. Food was mediocre with the prawns battered with the shells on…! We then had to chase the waitress for our next course & between 12 of us we were presented with 1 duck leg…it looked like it had just been brought from another table. Plates were cleared & more food was served but it was smashed down again & as the evening went the waitress got more & more miserable. When we had finished the main course she asked us what was wrong with 3 chicken balls that were left & picked one up, squeezing it. We hadn’t actually ordered them. She then took them to another table…the left over food is definitely served again to the next table. Absolutely shocking. We asked for the bill which they wanted £30 tip!! Absolute joke!! If it hadn’t of been for vicky & her infectious smile & service then the whole evening would have been a total disaster. I would NOT recommend this restaurant & will never return!

The new ming Chinese restaurant has become one of my favourite Chinese places to eat! It's an all you can eat for £20! Staff are friendly and the food is out of this world, you will leave there stunned and very full! If your in the welling area you must try!

Great food when we eventually got it, more staff are needed to make the experience better. People were walking out because of the wait for food.

Literally the best Chinese food I’ve had in a while. The mussels in black bean sauce are so yummy and addictive!! The steamed duck rolls are yummy and the house special fried rice is so good. Highly recommend. Staff was nice and friendly. I just ate so much food from there and I’m so happy omg

All round amazing food, great atmosphere, food very good value if you get all you can eat. Food is always cooked fresh and hot, 2 shots for £7 is very pricey. The staff are Lovley but a bit slow, sometime forgetful other than that cannot fault it. Will deffo be back again. Ps love the air conditioning!

I've been using this restaurants service for many years, but it's fair to say that its inconsistencies still continue. I usually have the food delivered & the meals are rarely what i order. This occasion was no exception. I ordered three dishes. This time was a particular disappointment. I ordered mince pork & minced chicken "wrapped in lettiuce". I asked not to include baby sweet corn or bean shoots. The presentation was not as described. It arrived simply roughly chopped accompanied with half an iceberg lettuce in a separate bag! It was loaded with baby sweet corn & bean shoots. The next dish was Char Sui. This was accompanied with too much barbeque sauce, which could easily have come from a jar. The pork was of average quality. The third dish was beef fried noodles. I asked for the noodles to be crispy on the outside, but was all a stodgy mush with mushrooms that were discoloured & not even Chinese straw mushrooms. These mushrooms were obviously sourced from a local supermarket & near their consumption date, & of course, even more baby sweet corn & bean shoots! Living in the borough of Bexley all my life I'm still to find a repitable Chinese restaurant of the highest quality. I'm astonished to say that I have not found a Chinese restaurant in the London borough of bexley that sells crispy pork, Choi sum & straw mushrooms. It's such a shame, but the nearest authentic Chinese food is in London's Chinatown. They can do it, so why can't the other Chinese restaurants do it too?

Mixed reviews on this place, but we had a great experience. All the food was spot on, tried the mongolian lamb, and the thai pineapple rice and they were both lovely. Everything else we ordered was got and fresh and tasted great. Service with a smile, very happy customers

The buffet menu had alot of choice and the food was good and the waitress helped with our choices. Fresh, tasty and hot and cooked as requested..ie asked for only 2 chicken balls, another dish more spicy etc. We didn't over order and in fact I think they thought we hadn't ordered enough but we had plenty and finished what we had. So no unnecessary food waste. Pretty good and tasty fresh food but overall interior and menus need an update. The menus are sticky and I didn't really want to touch them. The staff were friendly but the buffet menu was a bit confusing and the lady was a bit pushy with drinks but I know that's where they make their money so don't blame them and it was just me and a young son. I had a draught small glass of cobra and it was cold and as expected. We left happy and I thought the price was great for what we had. Will definitely return.

This used to be my favourite Chinese Restaurant, I loved the food, tonight has put me off for life! I made a small order of Special Fried Rice, Satay Beef on Skewer, curry sauce and prawn crackers, I watch intently at their progress as it's not very easy to park in the street that I currently live in, with 27 minutes on their countdown clock to go I received a call from someone that did not have good English talking about the delivery address, I did attempt to put him right ut had to call the restaurant to confirm, it did eventually turn up, even though I had to input a delivery address and a billing address when I ordered, imagine my dismay when my 'Special Fried Rice' wasn't very special at all! (see photo) it would appear that my old address was still on their system but I got something that I wouldn't have ordered, even now their system shows that my meal is still being prepared, this is such a shame as I loved this restaurant previously both eating in and for delivery, never again

Visited for Valentine’s Day with a toddler and I just couldn’t fault the food or the service. I don’t get the bad reviews on here! Every server was so polite and helpful, food was quick which was useful with a baby. So reasonable in terms of value for money. Will be back!

Had a buffet dinner there was really nice

Although staff were very nice, the food overall was poor. The Mongolian lamb was very fatty, the crispy duck was very dry and although it was replaced, it was no better. Not recommended.

The chicken and black bean hardly had any sauce and wasn’t strong in flavour at all. Tasted really watered down. The vegetable Panang curry was basically just large pieces of slice carrot and broccoli, alright flavour but again didn’t have much sauce. Might as well just get an m&s Chinese as it’s better and half the price

Everything we ordered was bland. The hot and sour soup tasted like spicy hot water. The salt and pepper chicken fillets were not chicken fillets but something that resembled popcorn chicken from KFC. The only thing I would recommend is the chicken balls as they were really fresh and crispy but they came with a tiny portion of sweet and sour sauce. I also paid nearly £2 for a tiny pot of curry sauce which I feel is a complete rip-off!

Waited 2 hours for the food to be delivered, staff were rude when I phoned to check up on the order, lied to me 3 times saying it’s on it way it will be 10 minutes, only to be waiting for another 45 minutes. Food was absolutely disgusting! Go else where.

Absolutely awful service. Ordered at 7pm and the order didn’t arrive until after 9.30pm!!! Called 3 times to be told “10 minutes away” 40 minutes later and still not here! Gentleman on the phone was not apologetic and did not offer any compassion. First and last time we will order from here. AVOID

This has to be the worst experience I’ve ever had, we ordered waited 90 minutes to be told they were leaving now, waited another half an hour, for them to tell us it hadn’t even left. So after 2 hours we were told we could 15% off a £65 order after waiting over 2 hours!! Lied to us when we called, ended up with no food and a ruined evening

Staff rude ignorant surly manager extremely aggressive when complained about sub standard food won’t be back planned to be there for the evening but left after the starter don’t waste your time with a visit unless you want to be ignored by staff or maybe a fight with the manager

Me and my partner came here to dine for her birthday meal. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted by the male waiter who showed our table by the side of the entrance door, but me and my partner asked if we could sit at another table for couple at rear area of the restaurant, unfortunately the matured waitress lady quickly came and responded in a loud and rude way as NO!! We felt like they don't want us there but the male waiter responded as yes, so we sat at the rear end of the restaurant as that night the weather was horrible with rain and heavy winds, so when someone comes in or out and they open the exit door, the cold wind will blow in our faces that's the reason why we've chosen to sit away from the exit door. As we were very hungry other than that everything else went fine. I think the matured waitress woman didn't like us or weren't happy of our request because she never smiled at us as I watched her dealing with other customers in smiley way. Message to the matured lady waitress with a short hair: NEXT TIME PLEASE DON'T SAY THE WORD NO IN A LOUD VOICE TOWARD (US) YOUR CUSTOMERS REQUEST AS THAT WAS YOU BEING EXTREMELY RUDE. If our table request was not to be accepted then we would've walked out. We will dine again but we expect more politeness.

This is the second time we have visited this restaurant and another lovely meal. There was 4 of us and we had a table booked for 630 on the Sunday Evening. It was a good time and great food and service

The restaurant was busy but they were able to accommodate the two of us. There are a lot of tables in there and if you are size 12+ you may find it difficult to get past other dinners without asking other diners to please move in a bit. Food was good - we chose from the as much as you can eat menu. The food comes out quickly, not sure if this applies to larger groups but for two of us it was great. You can also ask for a break between courses, an idea is to just order starters and mid course, eat that and then order main. You should have an idea how !much !it's you can eat and then order accordingly to save wastage.

First and last time I be using new Ming as a takeawayI thought I would try and use a local business to where I lived to buy a takeaway but was very unimpressed with the quality of the food cooked. Sweet and sour Hong Kong style chicken was like eating rubber with no taste or hardly any sauce.Ordered a dinner box which consisted of rice, chips and curry sauce, it all came separate one portion of chips and one plastic container of egg fried rice but curry sauce was the smallest tub I’ve ever had, did not even cover half of the chips and rice so had to leave and bin the rest as would of been too dryI also ordered grilled dumpling that came with a dip that tasted horrible could not describe what it was Safe to say I won’t be going back

Been using this place for many years especially for take out never had a problem always prompt with the delivery. I've eaten in plenty of times and the set menu all you can eat for about £16 is really good value can't fault the place.

I live in Plumstead and have found that the local Chinese takeaways (plural) were getting worse, the hot weather, hectic schedule and a general unwillingness to cook overcame my apprehension and I took the plunge and ordered from here, super quick, looked fantastic and tasted amazing, thank you :-)

We went to the new Ming last night a reception you get is unreal, when you go to a restaurant you expect to be greeted with a smile and a warm welcome not here. You almost feel like you are putting them out, it’s like they don’t want to be their. We have been to the new Ming a few times they have still got a plastic container in the toilet why not get a plumber in , there was also a couple of screwdriver on the sink the other week . We go there because we think the food is very nice , but never again they are so rude in there , the way they put the food and drinks on the table, is like they don’t want you in there just the money. Well you won’t be getting anymore of my money. If you don’t want to work there get another career

We visited as a family for a meal on a Thursday evening. Four adults and a child. It was full of other families and nice atmosphere. The food was good and lots of it that we couldn’t manage it all. All served in good time and decently priced.

We had a takeaway last night was recommened by a friend. Food was horrible it did not taste right we put most of it in the bin only ate the rice, will not be ordering again and would not recommend

We have been using this restaurant for at least the last 12 years, it used to be very good and the staff went out of their way to make it a good night, ie bringing birthday cake out and singing happy birthday and even giving us a free drink at the end of the night, (we normally visit when it's one of ours birthday a crowd of ten of us). But for the last five years the staff seem so miserable with no manners at all, even when my wife phoned and booked the table the manager just said all booked and put the phone down, anyway we visited in August and the bill came to £500 for 13 of us we paid up and gave them a tip of £30 no thank yous or anything and just as we was leaving he said "there was a mistake on the bill and it should be £10 extra" , "we asked can't you take out of the extra we gave you" and he laughed and said no, so we paid it and left, last night we returned there was eight of us and we just felt we was rushed as straight after the starters they brought the duck and lamb out, again the staff were so miserable all evening that I don't think we'll be returning which is a shame as it's convenient for where we travel from and the food is superb but manners and a bit of courtesy doesn't cost a thing.

The food is ok here, but customer service is definitely lacking.. it's eat as much as you like but your made to feel as if you shouldn't be ordering loads or repeat dishes.

Food was absolutely disgusting! We spent £40 which we had to put straight into the bin. 2 of our orders were wrong. I’m not sure why this is 4 star. We’ve heard so many complaints but thought we would try it. I can definitely say I will never go again. They should be ashamed to produce such awful food, I wouldn’t even give to my dog!

We have been coming here for years but today was awful. The waiter was rude and unattentive considering we were the only ones in there! The food was tasteless and cold. We were then hurried up because he wanted to close early! He said we had to order our desserts whilst still having our main meal. We will never come back which is a shame as we have spent a considerable amount of money there in the past. Change your attitude or you will lose more regular customers.

The starters are to die for, we worked our way through the starter list, and no problems on getting extras of things. The sweetcorn and chicken soup was one of the best I've ever tried, we didnt make it to the main course as too full. The only let down was the duck not at all crispy and rather slimy.

Me and my cousin and my partner decided to dine at this restaurant last night. I was glad that there was an available table on as it wasn't crowded. Once we sat down the menu's were given to us and 5-10 minutes later the male waiter came to take our drink order, he was a bit strict when I asked for fizzy drink (fanta or tango) and he said we don't do those types of drinks in a fast and unhappy face but I managed to order non fizzy (apple juice). The crispy duct and other starters were great and very tasty followed by the main dishes but the chicken in black bean sauce was in a mixed white source so I didn't eat much of that but the dishes plates were very small like a starter type plates, we also ordered bottle of still water and the waitress brought 1 big bottle with only 1 glass when there's 3 people on the table but I don't blame them because they work extremely hard. I will visit again in the future and hope next time that male waiter will put some more smile on its face.

Went on a Tuesday evening and the place was quite busy, so had a nice atmosphere, but the service was great and food only took 5-10 mins to arrive. We didn't realise it was a buffet but was more than happy, I think it was about £16 each for all you can eat (and half price for under 9 year olds). What I really liked was that they encouraged you to order as much as you like; we ordered a couple of dishes each and the waiter then said - don't be shy and choose some more food. And after finishing they just bring the menu back and let you order more. Dishes weren't massive so you could sample a lot and not feel bloated. Food wasn't greasy and all cooked fresh. Drinks were reasonable, wine from about £15 a bottle. Inside was really nice, looked like it was fairly recently decorated. Would definitely return for the buffet evening. Would be quite a good place for birthday / large parties of people, they had some massive round tables in there.

Vine aquí la semana pasada porque la puerta estaba cerrada la dinastía siguiente tailandesa. Se puede decir que la comida estaba bien, pero las porciones son ridículamente pequeño ahora. Pedí un plato de calamares que venía en una bandeja con otros entrantes. Había tres piezas! Cuando pedimos que nos 2 / 3 piezas. Lo único que era generoso fue el tiras de pollo y tostadas de gambas. El pato estaba muy seco. Sal n gambas pimienta eran deliciosos, pero tenía la shell - lo que sobre! ? ! No puedo decir que volveré a prisa en volver. Prefiero ir a te costaría en la avenida.

Un gran restaurante que sirve comida recién hecha a la mesa como pago a un muy buen precio. Hemos comido aquí varias veces y lo recomiendo.

We came here as a six with my boyfriend's family on saturday evening. The restaurant was packed out as soon as we arrived, but we were dealt with very quickly for drinks and menus. You can basically order whatever you like, how much you like- including more luxurious dishes such as duck. The staff were friendly and worked very hard against the busy demand. The food was always hot and tasted fresh; specifically the crispy shredded beef was the best I have ever had for sure as it was actually crispy. The squid and the chicken ball starters were noticeably good as well and the singapore vermicelli was spicy and full of flavour. Spirit drink servings were kind of small and weak. Besides this, the experience was faultless. The staff were asking if we wanted more food and never came across as irritated or concerned that we would not finish anything (which we did). The meal was well-paced too; we entered at 7:30 and did not leave until 10ish because they allowed us to take our time with each course. I will be returning, I feel like you absolutely get your money's worth and would recommend it to anyone, but I would stick to the water.

haven't been here for years and went just before Christmas. The food was okay - good for an eat as much as you like but not compared to a good Chinese (like Ming of the Avenue where I frequent).Service was okay .. nothing to write home about. All in all I would return if I wanted an eat as much as you like but not my favourite restaurant in the area.

Living in Spain our Chinese Restaurants are pretty poor as most employees are from Mainland China unlike the UK were the staff are from Hong Kong and over 30 years have catered for the British Pallette and have it spot on.During a visit to the UK we took ourselves here and was not disappointed and took the advantage of the All you can Eat Menu at £16.95 per adult and it was brilliant.We had Salt & Pepper Squid, Seaweed, BBQ Spare Ribs, Chicken Wings to start and as an intermittent course 1/4 Crispy Duck with Pancakes and after a short break for mains we ordered small portions of Singapore Noodles, Special Fried Rice, Chicken Curry, Crispy Chilli Beef and enjoyed every dish.Staff were attentive not obtrusive and with Five Beers & Two Glasses of Wine the bill with 10% Service came to £62.00 which I thought was off great value.We shall definitely return when back in Welling on our next visit to the UK

My favourite Chinese, have been going there for over 7 years and it never seems to disappoint! Food is amazing and staff are brill.. Drinks are quite pricey & sometimes on busy days the food takes a while! But it's always hot and fresh & delicious!

My friends and I had a really great meal in New Ming this month, but I must say 2 of the waitress's were not very friendly which is a shame as it doesn't take much to be a little more pleasant when dealing with customers, especially if you would like them to return, as we know a good business is a combination of all aspects not just the product for sale

I've been twice now but going back a third time tonight! we love it! food is amazing, staff are friendly and the pricing is great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I have used this restaurant for years. It is the best one around.The buffet food was nice, we could order what we wanted off the buffet menu, very good selection and it arrived piping hot. The staff are always good and never rush us.I would book if you are going on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday as it does get busy.

We enjoyed a family meal on Saturday evening. Fabulous atmosphere and great service. Superb choice of food. Served up hot and delicious. The buffet menu is really good value. We have also ordered Take Away from the New Ming for many years, and is always plentiful and well cooked. Our favourite Chinese restaurant.

We had a lovely meal on Saturday evening food was plentiful and delicious it was a very busy night but everyone was accommodated with the manager and staff rearranging tables to fit everyone in. The waitressing staff made suggestions which she thought we would like and as we ordered from the eat as much as you like Buffett we reordered our favourites twice this was delivered by a smiling waitress good food value and service what more could you ask

Went tonight, they just did not listen to us. Got the order wrong three times, dirty plates, cold food and just bad service. They were far more interested in meeting the take away orders than serving the customers actually in the restaurant. Avoid if you can. Far better places to go.

Went here for my mother's birthday as it's her favourite restaurant and we only visit on special occasions as it can add up! It is by far the best restaurant in Welling, food cooked to perfection! Polite and friendly staff, quick service, comfortable dining, just really really lovely. 100% worth a visit, a real gem of a restaurant!

Nice place to eat , clean comfortable, however can be cold in the winter months, as often the entrance door lets in the drafts.The staff and owner are very pleasant and obviously most people/guests are regulars.
